Great little spot that has some cool decor. Some of which is successful and others not so much. Their food is more expensive than your typical Tex-Mex place but they are elevating and making more innovative items. We decided to do a myriad of sharable items instead of individual entrees. Our favorite was by far the queso fundido which was melty cheese perfection. The cocktails we had were great but some of the glassware was questionable functionality wise. While I understand they are working with a local artist on them the water glasses were bent to the point where it was difficult to drink from them without getting and unintentional baptism. I do agree that the prices are on the high side for what we ordered as a table of 8. Also, parking is an issue there. The weather was extremely hot and because of the outdoor patio, there was no inside AC, so I don't recommend going when the temperature is over 85 degrees. Because everything is done digitally, I was expecting a copy of my receipt e-mailed to me. I would give the atmosphere a 10. Love the vibe. However, the music towards the end of the night was entirely too loud (I did like the genre of music but not the decibel level). None one could hear each other talk. We went on Friday night (February 24) which was 20-30 degrees outside. They were sitting people outside with heat lamps and people were in their winter jackets. For the servers to get to outside they kept opening up these large window/doors right in front of us and leaving them open while all the cold air came blowing in. After 20-30 min they finally offered us to move our seats. The food was entirely too overpriced. Average price of a single taco was $9. Appetizer small bowl of probably the worst guacamole I've had was 17.50. Some of the pitchers of margaritas were $68. Lastly, none of our servers spoke English well and we were unable to convey our orders correctly; therefore we accidentally received a plate of cold shredded cheese that was $4. read more

I really liked this place. Apparently some people on here did not, but some people don't like dogs so keep that in mind (dogs are always great ). The drinks are good and the grilled corn guacamole was 10/10. HOWEVER, the real star of this experience was our server Greg. I can honestly say that I never thought I'd be at a spot in life where I am writing a yelp review about a server that I had at a Conshohocken Mexican restaurant, but here I am. To put it simply, Greg is objectively great at his job. He is better at his job than you, the reader, are at your job, and it's not even close. I don't know how someone can read a table as well as he does, but it was so impressive that I'm still thinking about it 4 days later. He clearly took a lot of pride in his job, and made sure that our every need was taken care of immediately. TLDR: If you come here, make sure you ask for Greg as your server. He will not disappoint, and you will find yourself writing a review on Yelp about his great service 4 days later. P.S. All I can say is WOW! A couple we know suggested we go to Coyote Crossing. I was able to earlier tonight for the first time, and I am glad we did! Immediately I could see that the menu set this place apart. The flavors on the menu and the combinations are not anything you are going to see at your average Mexican restaurant. They have obviously put a ton of thought into this menu. I had a lot of trouble even figuring out what to order and punted to the chef who made a few excellent suggestions. I really want to love this place. Atmosphere is great, especially on the patio. Food is delicious generally. Our server was on point. It's the price point. Four people for dinner with alcohol was $275 - tip included!!! It's higher end Mexican food, but really?! Almost $70 per person!?! This inflation thing has been exaggerated to the point where you have to wonder what these owners will do when a bonafide recession comes. Maybe we've been spoiled somehow from years of low inflation and exporting production to low wage countries, but now production is coming back onshore and we're catching up on decades of price increases? Still, in places where your minimum wage staff have to make $15/hour instead of $7, they somehow manage to run good restaurants with a lower average ticket per diner. Something is off, and so I probably won't be back. Granted, alcohol contributed to the tab. We're talking one beer, four margaritas, and another mixed drink. But when the drinks are running $15 - $20 each, it's easy to have an alcohol tab approaching $80, $90, $100. That's not an unreasonable number of cocktails. They sell margaritas pitchers for $54, so if everyone can agree on the type, you can save a little there. We couldn't, so each person got their choice. I'd say Coyote Crossing is a good special date night place to splurge *for the 'burbs* - - - - maybe- - - or a stop for a round of drinks due to ambiance, but I think there's better chefs and better venues at this price point in the region. Personally, Coyote Crossing's top reason to maybe get a return visit from people like me is it's only ten minutes away. Props for proximity! read more

My family and I came for Saturday lunch and had a great experience! We were seated in the outdoor area which was large and did feel socially distanced enough. We also liked the decor inside and out. The lunch hour was pretty busy, but I thought our staff did well to balance all of the guests. The food was excellent. It may be considered a little expensive for tacos, but for the quality and generous portion size we got, we all thought it was worth it. Two members of our party shared fajitas which they loved and they still had leftovers. Someone else got the Mahi Mahi tacos which were fresh and tasty. My husband got the classic Carne Asada tacos which he really enjoyed. My favorite was what I ordered which were the fried shrimp tacos that were so delicious! I do not know why this place isn't 5 stars, Everything about it was amazing. The ambiance was spectacular, with a beautiful outdoor patio with lights and greenery everywhere. The service was outstanding- our server Leo was so friendly and thoughtful and even went above and beyond with glasses of mezcal to close out our meal. And the most important part: the food was probably the best Mexican American food I've ever had. While the prices are a little higher, it is well worth it because the portions are huge and absolutely delicious. We had the flautas to start and they looked just like the picture. The free salsa was the freshest and most flavorful I've ever had. My boyfriend and I both had burritos and they were full of flavor and spice with perfectly cooked meat. So disappointed! Tried to book a reservation for our friends birthday with a group of friends for a Saturday night in mid March. Group of 20 close friends that get together often. The hostess that answers the phone was super sweet and more than accommodating but had to refer us to the co-owner Chris Hora who made the reservation process such a complicated and expensive process that we had to move our fun night out to another restaurant in Plymouth Meeting. Wanted a surcharge of $700 that he billed as a SPACE FEE just to sit in the Garden area to have dinner! Absolutely ridiculous and unwilling to budge or apply this fee towards our bill. Understandably had to have a preset menu considering we were coming in with a group of 20 on a Saturday night but the menu offering was also a complete joke! All in all we were going to inquire a $1869.60 bill for $817 worth of food. Without any alcohol. OUTRAGEOUS!! Wish there was a button to upload a copy of this invoice. Also, I mentioned that we were a group of healthcare providers and first responders and his response was "that's the type of crowd that drinks my bar dry!" OK! Then I questioned why the woman answering the phone took the original reservation so easily without any issues and his reply was "that's what happens when I have 12 year olds working for me!"
