Ordered a Cobb salad with toast and a cinnamon roll with Postmates. I got a Cobb salad with random ingredients because they were out of what really makes a Cobb...Red pepper instead of tomatoes, etc. I picked up the container and water pooled in the corner. It ended up taking 13 paper towels to soak it up but I was so grossed out that I couldn't eat it and the lettuce smelled funny. The toast was burnt. And, the we're out of cinnamon rolls. They replaced it with a chocolate pancake but I can't eat chocolate right now. So, I couldn't eat anything. Postmates refunded some of it. New to the neighborhood and have heard good things about this little cafe. Food was ok , but the lady at the register with the grey hair must be related to or owner. She's very nasty and because we were sat close to the front we could hear her gossip about all the other servers. It was my understanding that our server was the manager so I'm guessing she doesn't always serve because she wasn't very good at it at all!! I try to support local businesses, but after going here a few times I was not impressed. The food was not very good and my daughter and I didn't finish our meal this last time. I was so excited to be out finally and I wanted her to share in our local ambience. I was happy she agreed to eat here instead of going to a popular franchise restaurant. This is still a good breakfast spot, but I was really disappointed today. They used to have a really good pork tenderloin sandwich. Wonderful breakfast. I had a waffle, bacon,and hash browns. The hash browns were good, and the bacon had a great balance of chewyness and crispness. Great flavor too. The real standout product was the waffle. The waffle looked and tasted great. Again, it had a great balance of doughyness with crispness. the flavor really embodied the Belgian style with sweetness. Also worth adding that I enjoyed that the syrup was served hot, and the sweet cream butter was tasty. The staff were very friendly. It is limited seating, but they made sure to let me know my place in line. One of the owners were also out and about greeting people, which was nice to see that he seemingly knows his regulars by name and hobbies. I like that in a cafe. Great experience read more

Was out and about and checked handy dandy yelp and found this place. There was about a 15 min wait but on a Saturday morning, can't say it wasn't expected. The inside is cute and small. But definitely a great use of space. A normal setting would have two rows of booths on both sides but this place also had a row down the middle. Service was great. Everyone was friendly and things moved like a well oiled machine. Food was great! My mom had the eggs Benedict. I was impressed they actually toasted the English muffin well! Hash browns were perfectly crisp. Husband had the mini French toast and country skillet. I normally don't care for French toast because too many places make it soggy with too much batter but this one was dry and had a bite to it still. Yum! Old people central! My boyfriend found this place on Yelp so we decided to give it a try. The service wasn't bad. A lot of the people eating there were clearly regulars. The whole ambiance was clearly catering to the elderly. Which is fine! But as a couple in our early twenties, we felt a little out of place. My boyfriend got steak and eggs and he was not too wowed by them, but seemed to think they were fine. One thing I liked was that they had an option for a mini omelette. Perfect for if you are not totally starving. It was not too bad. I felt too young for this place, but it was a nice little restaurant, I liked seeing the staff interact with the regulars. Been here many times and absolutely love their breakfast and service. Reminds me a ton of small mom and pop restaurants from the Midwest. Great tasting food, good service and pleasant atmosphere. My only complaint is that I wish they would expand and have a larger space. Granted if they did that they might loose their charm. If you are looking for a great breakfast make sure to try here. I went here for breakfast and left blown away! The Cozy Corner Cafe tops any breakfst I have ever had at a restaurant. Everything tasted hommade and authentic. I ordered steak and eggs that came with hashed browns and toast of my choice. My son ordered 2 pancakes (which are amazing!), two eggs and two bacon pieces. We also had country fried steak and gravy with eggs and pancakes. Of course I had to try everyone else's food too :) AMAZING! They do lunch as well and prices are so very affordable. My plate would have easily been 50% more of the cost I paid at any chain restaurant. The staff are so incredibly nice. They remembered the name of my nephew from the last time they came to eat here :) I look forward to returning to try their lunch or just eat breakfast again because it was just that YUMMY! read more

Eureka!!! I finally found the breakfast place of my husbands dreams. I was beginning to wonder if I ever would. AND...I really enjoyed it, too. So double plus!!! We were greeted and seated right away. Waitress was attentive and even took some time for small talk, but not too talky, if you know what I mean. Large OJ was substantial size and tasted like good OJ according to hubby. He's had his share of not so good OJ. Omelette was big and filled with lots of ham, green peppers and cheese. AND the cheese was inside the omelette not on top like it seems how omelettes are made here in AZ. Hubby could not have been happier and the hash browns were crispy brown on top and moist in underneath. I had Eggs Benedict which came with hash browns too. You do get a choice of hash browns or home fries. The eggs were cooked perfectly but I couldn't help but wonder if they were actually poached as they were perfect round domes. Canadian bacon was a touch chewy but not bad and good flavor. Hollandaise sauce wasn't traditional Hollandaise but still had good flavor. Seemed to be missing the lemon in it. We will return as there a few other items we'd like to try. All and all it was a great breakfast place!!! 2 visit hubby got his usual omelette but got pancake instead of toast for $1.29 extra. It was just okay, kinda chewy instead of tender. But omelette was huge again and fantastic! I got Country Skillet which was hearty and rich.
