Found a hair in my breakfast this morning. They never offered a refund. All they said was sorry. Lost a customer that ate here regularly. People check your food please.

Basic diner food; good portions and a good selection, especially for breakfast. Especially like the breakfast skillets.

That was my thought the first time I went there and I was even more pleased because we had just migrated to the area and can visit anytime ! Debbie's is just how you'd imagine a small coffee cafe to be, homey with farm style furnishings, a lunch counter and friendlier staff then you may have expected. At slower times ( not days, I've yet to see them have any of those!) your invited to sit wherever you choose. The menu is simple, the usual fare you'd expect for a diner but don't let that put you off. There hasn't been one thing I've tried off it that hasn't been delicious and portioned generously. A specialty of the house are their "thin" pancakes. Crepe-like but not a crepe, it is a pancake and you can get them plain or blueberry, I recommend the blueberry but I'm partial to blueberries. I don't ever order pancakes EVER but, this caught my eye so I gave em a try. I order pancakes now. Well, I order pancakes at Debbie's. Parking can be an issue, they're a small place and parking is limited but thankfully you can park on the street if the lot is full. If you're traveling in this area, this is one of those local gems you definitely don't want to pass on.

Ordered some with my family and everyone agreed it was well done. I ordered a latte with honey, and they mixed the honey into the foam, and the flavor was consistent throughout the drink. Most coffee places I've been to do not mix the honey well, and it ends up at the bottom of the cup. They did a good job here with that. The crepes, they have gluten-free options for both sweet and savory, and they had a lot of different kinds on the menu. I got a beef and cream cheese with bell peppers and onions crepe, and my sister a peaches and cream. Good presentation, and the crepes flavorful; they didn't taste like preserved ingredients from an extruder. I didn't take any photos beforehand, because I didn't expect it to be so good. Next time. Thank you for the breakfast!

They hold events & allowed the birthday girl to put up some things to celebrate her birthday. We were allowed to order any drink such as specialty coffees, iced teas, sparkling, sodas, etc. And they also set out some water, iced tea, and a mango guava punch which were unlimited. each guest got to have two fusion tacos and a side of potato salad. Their fusion tacos were served on Naan and had really good ingredients. The two tacos that we were served one was Greek and one was Barbecue. They were very well balanced, and you can tell that there was a lot of care put into them. What I loved most about the tacos is the filling was different than what you would normally see for a taco. So for example, the barbecue had an apple slaw with pulled pork and the Greek taco had this mixture of zucchini and chickpeas with chicken. The potato salad had sun-dried tomatoes in it, and it was definitely different than I've ever had for a potato salad and it was delicious. For dessert, we were serve some cookies and a brownie. They were also very good. When I got a chance to sit down with my friend and talk to her about the food. She mentioned that they do pop up dinner sometimes, that the breakfast & lunch sandwiches are really good and that they make a lot of item "house made" for their drinks and their food . We also enjoy their butterscotch coffee and the Almond Joy and I'm told they make the butterscotch themselves. The staff/owners were great and were really trying to be so accommodating to our group. So if you're looking for a delicious breakfast or a relaxing lunch or looking for a place to have an event, I would check them out. They definitely inspired me to visit again.

On my second visit it was actually less busy and the same older lady was behind the counter taking orders and covering the register. I was trying to decide on my next meal and was asking a lot of questions. She responded dismissively by saying, she "didn't have time for my questions." When I mentioned that she had answered all my questions the week prior, nothing changed so I pointed out that it was much busier the week prior compared to me being there for the second time, she maintained her viewpoint. I understand she was filling in while her daughter was on maternity leave at that time but that's still not an excuse to treat customers poorly, especially around dietary needs. Because of that interaction, I won't be returning. No second chance from me. If you have dietary restrictions, I'd think twice.

I had the Half-sandwich with soup and fries. I chose grilled Ham n cheese and the "half" I was presented with was larger than most full sandwiches. Quite tasty as well. A generous portion of fries came with it and the soup was vegetable beef. The fries were cooked to perfection and delicious. Too bad the super-cheap ketchup they serve is not edible. It's like they made it from canned tomato sauce. Disgusting! The soup wasn't the best. It tasted like they keep a single pot and add stuff to it every day. Re-heating and adding more to it every morning. I had to chase the server down and ask for it because she had forgotten to bring it out. Not good. I also had a strawberry milkshake. It tasted like vanilla ice milk and had some strawberry syrup drizzled on it for flavoring. When I stirred it in, the drink became slightly pink and had the slightest hint of strawberry. Not very thick either, but it was thick enough to collapse the super-cheap straws they use. I had to ask for water for my dog four times and when they brought some, it was in a plastic bucket that had been used as an ash tray. There were burn marks and ashes still in it and it reeked of cigarettes. The place has it's good points. Just don't expect much.
