Everyone was so pleasant and friendly . They really provided us the top notch services and food here. The crawfish was well marinated and freshly cooked , just love their spices . We tried the ox tail noodle soup with the brisket which was perfect on a cold winter night . The meat is so tender and it would fall off the bone. Decided to head to Cedar Hill for some snow crab and pho tonight. Ordered snow crab with house sauce and the Vietnamese beef pho with short rib. It hit the spot! Both were so good. The house sauce on the snow crab made it even better. And the pho, it's one of the best in Dallas county, especially for not even being a pho place. Second time coming here and am never disappointed with the service or food. We walked in around 6:30 and it was very slow, the hostess who had a very pleasant personality came and sat us down. We ordered our drinks which were amazing. I the waitress who's name I forgot did an amazing job. I will say the seasoning I ordered for my crab I thought was a little too sweet, and there was way too much of it, I love flavor but damn. It is currently 8:10 pm we got here around 6:45 took the wait staff around 25 min to come by an offer us a drink. One thing they have that's really great is their bacon and chicken fried rice, it's absolutely delicious. The pick up people are strangely untalkative. And we decided to treat ourselves with the King Crab ($35.99/lb market). All was exceptionally cooked and very tasty! I love LOVE king crab but having two legs that were already broken for me wasn't worth the $36. I'd rather have enjoyed another Triple Your Lovin' entree. So Thursday nights (not sure which nights, or what the HH specials are) but Bud Lights and Miller Lites (Cannes) we're free. The food was cool; I feel like the sauce could have contained a lot more garlic but it was flavorful with just the right amount of spice ness. I had the snow crab with sausage, my mom had the shrimp with sausage and corn and my daughter had the dungenees crab. My mom seemed to enjoy her food. I tasted my daughters food and the crab was really good. I usually always opt for snow or King but her crab was delicious. I love the fact that they have diet Dr Pepper. We used to frequent this spot when it was under different management. Looks like it may be black owned now(not really sure). Nevertheless the food was delicious and the atmosphere was just how I remember it. We went about an hour before closing and I can definitely appreciate the service because they actually allowed us to sit and eat without giving us the side eye or rushing. The only thing I recommend is that they reprint the menus to say complimentary beer. They don't have a liquor license right now but the menu still had liquor options on it. Our waitress was a nice lady, I can't recall her name since it's been a few days but she was attentive, friendly and quick. I found this place on Ubereats and they have the cheapest snow crab clusters! What surprise me is their quality crab clusters were so big and sweet! And their own sauce is delicious!! My first time at Crab N Bar. I had the beef pho and chicken wings. The first thing I noticed was how appreciative and attentive the staff were. I took one sip of the pho and my waitress asked if it was good. I've never been to a place that is so dedicated to quality. She seemed genuinely delighted that I loved the broth. The chicken wings were amazing! I love Asian style wings and these were top notch! If you're out in the area, I suggest giving them a try. The last 2 times I came here I didn't have good service. The server didn't have good listening skills she forgot our water multiple times and said " what did you say I forgot " When you ask for something they stood around and talked and didn't do anything. I went here for crawfish, and boy, was it finger-licking good. I decided to treat myself and get some oysters, too, which were very fresh, and I gobbled them up. I have been here years ago when it was an Italian place! Now it is a "Cajun" place! I had the hurricane cocktail which is not frozen ! I expected it to be! It was tasty but not spectacular! It got me buzzed which was interesting! Because I never get inebriated while judging a taste of a restaurant for the first time!. Anyway, the taste of the fried rice was good however, it did not come with soy sauce as I would have expected! But our server was happy to get soy sauce for the table. The lobster fried rice was excellent! The taste was what was expected for the value!!! I did not like that a mayo was added a top of the lobster when baked but perhaps a necessity to not overcooked it. The lobster was cooked to perfection! I would absolutely recommend that dish! The cocktail(hurricane) was ok in that it made be feel a buzz quickly. The taste was of a heavy alcohol taste which would have tasted better frozen. It was not like Pappadeux of which I was craving. I would only recommend one drink per person ! I am a petite person under 109 pounds so I may be bais on how many a person can drink and drive . Luckily I have a driver I can rely on ! Happy eaten everyone! The decor is nothing fancy or excitable. Give this place a chance to survive in Cedar Hill in the area they call Hilltop! No pun intended for The Walking Dead series!!!
