Everyone knows, you come to Cracker Barrel for the comfort and vibes, not the quality of food. And we indeed had those exact expectations met at this Altamonte Springs location. I got a caramel latte and it was enjoyable but super sweet. The cinnamon rolls looked much yummier in the pictures but sadly they were a little dry and lacking in real. The chocolate chip pancakes were good. The sausage was again dry but we still enjoyed our meal. Our waitress was super lovely though.

Tucked away on Douglas in Altamonte Springs this Cracker Barrel location is perfect for a quick home style breakfast. My husband and I stopped in between getting off of work and a dentist appointment for breakfast, we were greeted right away and seated immediately upon arrival. Our server was pleasant and friendly she took our beverage order and brought water without being asked, she didn't rush us to order but she was attentive without being obtrusive. I had the bacon and egg hashbrown casserole minus the diced tomato and green onions, my husband had the Uncle Hershel's breakfast, we also started with the biscuit beignets ( so yummy!). Both of our meals arrived hot and fresh and just as we ordered. We did notice that portion size is quite a bit smaller than in the past but this seems to be the norm most places and if we are being honest with ourselves it is closer to the amount we should be eating! Everything tasted wonderful, I love the crispy onions on top of the casserole and the biscuits and gravy are always delicious. The restroom was clean as was the dining room and merchandise area. If you like a nice home cooked meal close to the city this Cracker Barrel is the place to visit just keep your eye out because they do not have the big sign on Douglas and it can be easy to miss.

I really love Cracker Barrel. We came to try the new campfire menu for the summer but it doesn't start until Tuesday but since we are a part of the Cracker Barrel club we got an email to try the new s'mores dessert for free! It was delicious! Our waiter, Donovan, did me a solid and was able to order the maple bacon grilled chicken even though they have taken it off the menu. The hashbrown casserole was good but they have either changed the recipe or didn't add enough cheese because it was a bit dry and different. Still very good however. This location of Cracker Barrel has not updated their look to the new modern features so I it's the vintage place you know and love here. We will be back soon to try the campfire classics for the summer.

Definitely some great breakfast or brunch on Sunday. The peach mimosa was delicious. The staff is so friendly and this place stays pack so get there at a decent time. We were sat soon as we walked in and we got a window seat. It's such a homey place.

Came for a family breakfast and it was a great time. Waited about 30minutes in a Sunday which isn't too bad compared to some other popular spots. Service was quick which is appreciated as always. I love the store as I literally want to buy everything ! Such cute little Knick knacks and unique items you can buy I ordered the Grandmas Sampler Pancake Breakfast with the blueberry pancakes , scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. The pancakes with their syrup ... Yum!!!

Our server Robyn H easily elevated this review by 1 to 2 stars. We came in as a group of 10 for a workday celebration. As we were coming in between breakfast and lunch we were ordering breakfast, lunch, champagne, mimosas, orange juices and a whole lot more. Robyn H handled us all, and our separate checks, with poise, elegance, professionalism and a bug friendly smile. Robyn H took our obligatory photos, delivered our food, beverages and checks and handled everything and everyone in a delightful way. Oh, yes and the food was good and the atmosphere was charming. Thanks again Robyn H!

Love this location , it's busy but service is always good and food is always hot and fresh. Had family breakfast here and I tried the cinnamon roll French toast , it's very very sweet ( taste like a Cinnabon ) but very good. I gave one to my sister and she is also loved it. The kids love the confetti pancakes so that's a must order when we come. Coffee is nice and bold with good flavor and their menu has lots of choices for any picky eater or foodie .

The French Toast is new on the menu and now one of my fall favorites. It was delicious and not too sweet. Service was good. Our waitress made sure the coffee was endless and that we didn't need anything else. The ambiance was great. The gift shop already has Christmas items out. Gift Shops are like a candy store for me. I even made a purchase and have another item I saw today on my radar. I will be back for more.

One of our go-to spots! Finally tried the catfish and shepherd's pie, and both were a hit! The catfish was perfectly tender, and the shepherd's pie was comforting.

No crowd at 9am on a Saturday. Our server, Chloe, was amazing. She was attentive, friendly and made great suggestions. The food on this visit took me back to when Cracker Barrel was new on the scene. This is how the food used to taste and be served, piping hot and fresh! I've been disappointed with most CB experiences because it seems like everything is just microwaved and put on a plate. But this Cracker Barrel is doing it right. Somebody is back there cooking in that kitchen! Everyone we interacted with at this location was nice, from check-in, to the busser to the cashier when leaving. Wish this quality of food and service could be found at a Cracker Barrel near me.

We arrived just after the lunch rush, which gave me time to really study the menu board... and wow, there were so many tempting options. I went with the Wobble savory crepe, loaded with turkey, chicken, mushrooms, onions, spinach, and tomato. They recommended the Cajun remoulade, but I swapped it for blue cheese--and let me tell you, that was an excellent call. An absolute home run. One of the things I really appreciated was being able to watch the crepes made from start to finish. Everything looked fresh, and they were more than happy to customize ingredients along the way--no hassle at all. The staff was pleasant and friendly, the dining area was spotless, and since the weather was perfect, we chose to eat on the patio, which made the experience even better. My only complaint? They don't have a location in Oklahoma! We do have a crepe spot back home, but I've never tried their savory crepes. After this visit, I'm inspired to give it another shot--though The Crepevine set the bar pretty high. Fantastic lunch, great atmosphere, and well worth the stop. I'd happily return on my next Florida visit.

The crepes themselves are made fresh and arrive genuinely warm, which is half the battle. I ordered the buffalo chicken crepe and appreciated the good kick it had. The fillings were competent but unremarkable, nothing that made me think "I need to come back for that specific crepe." The chicken had a tendency to slide toward the bottom as I ate, which was a bit of a nuisance especially when your first 2-3 bites are all lettuce and tomato If you're looking for something easy and quick to grab for lunch, The Crepevine delivers. It's the kind of place where the experience is enjoyable partly because of what it is rather than it being exceptional at what it does. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a good spot to pop in with friends or grab something on your way. If I'm in the area and want something a little different from the usual lunch routine, I'd happily return.

On my first visit, I ordered the Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Pancakes with link sausages and a glass of orange juice. The pancakes were delicious, the sausages hit the spot, and the orange juice was... well, you know... orange juice. It did its job! The atmosphere reminded me of a classic country diner--cozy, welcoming, and filled with an older crowd, which I honestly prefer. One thing I really appreciated was being able to seat myself. That's always a plus in my book. Sometimes being escorted to a table means ending up in that one awkward corner nobody wants... but I digress. Overall, I had a great experience and would happily come back. My significant other, however, wasn't nearly as impressed. Oh well--you win some, you lose some! Fun fact, diners were started in New England region of America in the 1850s. All this to say, I love a good diner. I mean the American diner has always been there for middle America. The closest one to me and honestly it's definitely hidden away is the Maitland Breakfast Club. It's pretty much situated on the boundary line of where the City of Altamonte Springs starts. They have large space that's casual and what you would expect for a diner. Anyone can walk in wearing their Sunday best to pajamas. The waitresses are very welcoming and exactly the kind of person I would expect to invite me into a diner. We had gone on a Saturday afternoon and they're not a diner that's open late, so more of a breakfast diner really. Now I got the eggs Benedict with bacon and hash browns. For me, there are three breakfast staples I believe all amazing must revisit breakfast places should have. A good cup of warm regular coffee, eggs Benedict, and good crispy hash browns. I mean some places have other things like lattes and hash brown bowls, and I'm not saying those aren't good. However, when you nail the basics, you can do anything else. The hollandaise sauce was great and didn't split and bacon was crispy. The hash browns were super crispy, which I loved, and I could tell it had been made on a flat top grill, which is another very classic American restaurant kitchen appliance. The cup of coffee was good, I mean they had the sugar packets and the creamers right there. Overall, I would rate it a 9/10 and it set us back about $15 for just my portion. I will be back (said menacingly), Maitland Breakfast Club.

They served me burnt toast, I sent it back and they fixed it. The potatoes are disgusting. The aftertaste is similiar to old frying oil. The pancakes were plain and tasteless, they needed vanilla in the mix or a better tasting mix. You have to open many of these tiny butter packets to get enough for the pancakes, which were barely warm. The worst is the bacon tastes terrible. But, I got it very crispy and I asked for no crispy on the bacon and I received it all in bits and pieces. See pix below. My spouse says that the grits are not as creamy as other restaurants, but not bad. Lastly, the coffee is so bad and at $3.89 a cup, it would have been great if it's worth the overpriced taste. The wait staff was rude and got impatient with me when I showed her the burnt toast. Her attitude needs a more positive approach. She made me uncomfortable whenever she spoke to me.
