The big boy breakfast- should be renamed big girl

I ve always loved this place while traveling on long road trips. This is a great spot for true Southern cooking and hospitality. Be warned, the food is very rich but delicious. The country store is charming and full of old school candies that are hard to find elsewhere. I'll be back with the kids.

This is the second time I've eaten at a Cracker Barrel. Both times it was in Detroit at this location. The first time I had the fried catfish and loved it. This time we came for breakfast. I got the Grandma's Sampler Pancake Breakfast $11.39. It comes with two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, bacon, sausage and ham. It also comes with a breakfast side and I chose the hash brown casserole. Everything was on point and I enjoyed my breakfast. It's kind of hard to mess up breakfast foods. The hubby also got one of the breakfast combos, but I can't remember which one. They have a few and they're all really similar. He did get the biscuits and gravy. It was my first time sampling the white gravy and I was in love. It was so good, way better than brown gravy. This restaurant is huge and the place was packed. I'm not sure if they're always busy or just on the day that we went. Service was good, but they were so busy. The servers were like chickens running around without heads.

When you think Cracker Barrel to me, my thoughts jump right to their breakfast and dine in (I will ask for a table by the fire, especially cold days). The decor has not changed since opening. However, I decided to try out their fried chicken, Cole slaw, corn & corn muffins. The chicken was pretty good. It was seasoned with a nice balance of spices. However, it was a bit over cooked. The Cole slaw was yummy. The corn, was probably the cheapest that they could buy. The corn muffin was what I call "southern" style. It is not sweet, so ask for honey. The food was average, equate it to Popeyes (not spicy). HOWEVER.... Portions were small. Very small.

I love the food. It was great. I love the atmosphere. I love the general store always pick up a few things. The ladies were awesome and the waitresses was great. Everything about Cracker Barrel everywhere I go if they have a Cracker Barrel in that state I go and eat for many years and I will always eat and shop there Mrs. Tromblay.

Cracker Barrel is a good place for a quick breakfast. Usually, you can get seated right away, especially if you use the app to check in. Menu is pretty extensive, but unfortunately, the food is not outstanding. The pancakes are pretty decent though. Prices are not as bad as one would think.

Restaurants are all about "themes," and the ambiance, decor and food served usually reflects this concept in more ways than one. Visiting a Cracker Barrel restaurant is like taking a trip down home to the Southern States, and exploring that ubiquitous general store that every small town seems to have had in the not so recent past. These mercantile businesses were an integral part of the local fabric of the town they served. At one time where they could special order items from the Sears and Roebuck catalog, before Walmart moved in put them out of business in the 1980s. I was feeling nostalgic, so I decided take a trip back in time and visit the local Cracker Barrel several days ago. Anyone who loves "down home country cooking" will immediately identify with the faire that is served at any Cracker Barrel restaurant. My father's side of the family is from the Deep South, and there's an old saying that when you visit your family and friends, you don't leave their home on an empty stomach. The cuisine served at just about any Cracker Barrel is sure to bring back fond memories of the south. When I visited the local Belleville location for lunch several day ago, I decided to order a serving of chicken and dumplings, with cornbread and fried okra. How can you wrong with this classic selection? We'll let me tell you quality has really slid downhill at this restaurant since I last ate there just before the pandemic started. Dumplings should be soft and easy to chew, not tough like they want to join a local street gang and hangout in a back alley with them after sundown. The more I used my fork to cut the dumplings, I realized this entrée tasted more like it came out of a can Sweet Sue Chicken and Dumplings, that had expired on the shelf on the local supermarket shelf several months ago. While I have never liked Sweet Sue or any dumplings from a can, this experience gave me nightmares for a week. At least the cornbread and okra was good. How can anyone screw-up a country classic like chicken and dumplings like this is beyond my comprehension!? I can say the service provided by server was OK, but I shouldn't have an empty glass when you walk by my table and bring the orders to people directly behind me multiple times. After her fourth trip past me, she came back and said my glass was empty and would I like a refill? Why else would I have been holding it up when you walked past me the second time? While I will probably visit other Cracker Barrel restaurants in the future, I will definitely think twice about this place.

Service was quick and excellent, it's been a very long time since our last visit. We thought we would try this again. It was not crowded nor busy, which was good, noise level at its lowest. We ordered and food came right out, tasty and hot. Seems like the best time to go is during the middle of the month on a week day.

Never again. I wish…read moreI could leave negative Stars purely on the treatment from management and ethics. To be fair there are some good points but I guess I will address those first number one the Ambiance is very nice if you like history an old architecture it's worth popping in if you are near nearby. I will also say that I am pretty critical on my coffee but it appears the coffee portion of this restaurant has its own name and I will write an extremely positive review accordingly as the coffee was some of the best I've ever had. That being said the rest of the experience was negative. We should have known something walking in when we saw what appeared to be two other local couples going to the cute little restaurant next door which looked reasonably busy and when we went in there's only one other couple there. That should have been a red flag. But it looks so quaint and Charming we wanted to try it. Her breakfast was fair but it's hard to mess up whipped cream and strawberries LOL you'd almost have to be pure evil not to like the combination LOL. My breakfast however was a disappointing experience say the least.... let me preface this with the fact that I have a pretty decent barometer 4 brisket as my buddies and I smoke brisket all the time and have been in some competitions. That being said for approximately $14 for breakfast skillet that better be some damn good brisket. And it wound up being very rubbery!!! and just taste it off like it had been sitting out forever.!!! On top of that after taking only one bite decided to send it back and the waitress could not care less and took $3 off the bill ....? basically you're telling me I ate $11 worth of Skillet after I told you to come back and have the chef taste it please!!!!!!!????? it was like it was microwaved from the previous night The sauce on it was like knock off ketchup packets or should i say katsup! Lol Rude and discourteous to say the least I'm sorry the Ambiance is great and the coffee was actually one of the best cups I ever had but to charge for food that I wouldn't even give our dogs!! just wrong and then to not even care about it no.!! We saw everyone going next door and wondered why some place so large had such little business. Now we know why all the locals were going next door and why a restaurant next to a restaurant still survives. After you eat here you will be eating next door also.

I got a beet burger which comes with a side of chips unless you opt to pay a bit more for something else. The burger looked a little small when it came out, but it was surprisingly filling. It was seasoned nicely and and the sauce was great. I liked the sweetness from the beets and corn, but I could see why some people might not agree, especially if they are used to meat burgers. The only thing that was a bit annoying was that the patty kept falling apart, but otherwise, it was really nice. Overall, I would come back, especially if I was eating with someone who is vegetarian/vegan. The food is healthy, fresh, and reasonably priced.

Dellah Coffee & Brunch House is a not-so-hidden gem in Dearborn, MI, serving Yemeni-American food…read moreto the large Arab population in Dearborn as well as to tourists like my boyfriend and I. Dellah is located on a mixed residential and commercial street with plenty of parking nearby. We chose to eat lunch here in June 2026 since it wasn't too far from our hotel and we saw that they had outdoor seating - important since we had my little dog with us. The place was very busy but since we were eating outside, we had no wait and we were waited upon promptly. There are a LOT of American choices on here (like sugary pancakes) but a third of the menu consists of Yemeni food. I got a traditional Yemeni tea ($4.50) and my boyfriend sipped on a smooth matcha latte ($6.50). We had a big breakfast that morning, so we chose to just share the lahm sighar ($20), which comes with a piece of khuba bread, and also order an additional khuba bread ($2). About 15 minutes later, our food was ready and after taking the necessary pictures, we dug in! Needless to say, the extra bread was not necessary. I don't know what we were thinking but we assumed a piece of khuba was small. Nope! Each piece is the size of my 17-inch computer. Anyway, we used bits of the khuba as silverware to pick up the deliciously tender lahm sighar, something I saw others do when I went inside to use the bathroom and nosily looked around. I must mention that the BATHROOM HAS A BIDET. I REPEAT. BATHROOM HAS A BIDET!!!! Hehe :) seeing it just made me happy lol. So anyway, I saw that the coffee section of Dellah is set up inside like a traditional coffee shop where you can grab and go some coffee, tea, and pastries if you'd like. I did grab my bf, dog, and I some water from the coffee counter, which is self-service. We didn't leave a crumb behind and loved our food here. I would happily come back again! There is a 3% card surcharge fee so I paid the bill with cash, which came out to about 45 dollars after tax and tip. A little pricey, thanks to our expensive drinks, but so yummy!

This was an awful table to be at in here. We hardly had elbow room or table space, especially after the giant platter sized bread was out with all of the breakfast/ brunch items for half of the table. I ordered the Fazolia. Everyone else got omelets, burgers or wrap items. Yes, a couple of team members weren't keen on ordering Fasolia with scrambled eggs, large Greek salad, 2 lahm sighar (one with potato and one quit eggs), 2 smashed burger, Yemeni scrambled eggs, chicken fajita, Greek skillet, southwest skillet, chicken wrap, coffee, tea without milk, Turkish coffee, mint lemonade refresher. Every team member said their food was good. The scrambled eggs are a tad runny and looked a bit puréed. The fasolia has good flavor and even better with some heat. It came out piping hot. Without the added eggs, this dish would be woefully lacking in substance for me. I would likely still be left hungry with the beans alone, since I don't eat the bread, generally. I tried the bread to give it a go, it's good. The Greek salad is nicely plated or bowled rather. The ingredients are in separate piles and looks like a pinwheel. The red onions were crudely cut. The tomatoes looked wrinkled and not so appealing. The Greek salad was underwhelming for me. The tea doesn't taste good, definitely need some honey, sugar or the milk here, although I favor nothing in my tea.
