    Cinnamon pie

Busy place for being so late at night thank God this place didn't feel the effects of the Tornado. Our waitress was young and very happy to help us. My wife went with the Cinnamon pie with the side of ice cream. While I choose the Apple pecan pie with the side of ice cream. Oh course I had to get a bottle of root beer to chase it down!!! I think we will be back

Everyone around here seems to love this place. I was not a fan. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, not sure. I thought the hash brown casserole was awful and the grits not edible. The only thing I ended up eating were my eggs and a biscuit. Their biscuits were good but I didn't eat the gravy because it was more like thick paste, yuck. Maybe it was an off day for the cook, I don't know. I may give it another try at a different location.

This is supposed to be four thick slices of French Toast. Those are thin and small.

We've been to Cracker Barrell restaurants a lot in several states. So when we were looking for a place to eat on the way home from out of state we stopped at this one. We got here at 7pm. We were sat immediately. That clock is important to show just how bad our service was today. We gave our orders and then didn't see our waitress at our table again for a half hour. We didn't get the biscuits, which we ordered with our food, until we had been at our table for over 35 minutes, at 7:39pm. It's unclear why other than our waitress just never came back after she took our order. At 7:49 most of the food came. Not a loaded sweet potato. My French Toast, which is supposed to have "Four slices of our Sourdough bread, grilled and topped with butter. Plus 100% Pure Natural Syrup or any fruit Sweet Topping (320-390 cal)." (This is from their website.) I asked our waitress and she said when you don't order the one with eggs and meat you only get two. The two, which you can see, aren't even the right bread. After the meal, I checked the receipt and asked about this. She said the machine allowed for French Toast without meat at $4.79. It's not on the menu and when I challenged what I received when I got it she didn't think to double check. The loaded sweet potato finally came at 7:59pm. Over 50 minutes after it was ordered and a full 10 minutes after all the other food. I want to stress that this restaurant was not busy. I counted 5 tables with guests on my side of the divider. I could see three others in the center side. I couldn't see the far side. But servers were cleaning and walking about. It wasn't busy. There was no explanation for why our food took 40 minutes or the late food that took 10 more. On top of the delay, the sweet potato wasn't even cooked well. It was Luke warm and not fully cooked through. Sweet potato should be easy to mash. But this wasn't. We asked for that to be removed and she did. The food for the most part was fine, at least. Normal. But I'd never eat here again. Our server, Emma B according to the receipt, was inattentive and made several mistakes. And when she made mistakes she didn't fix them on. She never even refilled our water. We finally got our check and I paid. When I did the person at the counter asked how things were and then immediately started telling me to swipe my card. She didn't care. That's pretty much how I felt everyone here felt. I paid and left. It was a bad experience and so unlike the many other Cracker Barrells we've eaten at.

Cookie-cutter Cracker Barrel that is, as usual, just off the Interstate. Convenient parking for RV's and cars. It's exactly the same as any of the dozens of CB's that I've patronized across the USA. Therefore, A-OK. Food was served quickly and plenty hot, no complaints there at all. I think the mac and cheese is excellent.

I usually do breakfast at Cracker Barrel, I love their buttermilk pancakes. We ate dinner here while in Kentucky. I had the two buttermilk fried chicken breasts with a house salad and macaroni and cheese. The salad would have been ok if they had not put the hard pieces in it that are usually thrown away. Those pieces of lettuce were brown. The macaroni and cheese was what I expected it to be, but it wasn't bad. The fried chicken was very good. It was skinless and crunchy outside and tender on the inside. My meal was good, my only complaint was the brown lettuce in the salad. I would recommend eating at this Cracker Barrel. The service was good and the people were very friendly.

    My favorite-- chickin n' dumplins

Wonderful Cracker Barrel...from the waitress to the food. Excellent service and the dumplins' were perfect. ----Not too much more to say---- --------Highly Recommended----------

The service was lovely. Ask for Braydn. I always get the steak and she hasn't asked me how I like it cooked since the first day I tried it.

We got there a bit early so that we could wander around the shops. They do have moonshine tasting, which was fun. I liked hearing about Calvin and Mr. Bill. I could easily see how people could spend a whole day here: For dinner, we were in a room with butterflies and flowers. When you looked around, it's almost as if you didn't know where to focus your attention. I ordered a drink and the burger ($2 upcharge after 4pm). The burger was ok but the fries were delicious. Our server, Jordan, kept our table laughing every time he came by. Worth checking out if in the area but definitely check out the menu before so you don't get sticker shock on some of the prices.

Food was good, but not enough for the cost. My bill for one was $68 for one alcoholic beverage, a soda, the app for the table, a sandwich and chips, and a piece of pie. Kitschy as hell, which I enjoy. Lots of shops to wander while you wait. Looks like Alice in Wonderland threw up. The staff is the best part. Our server, Jordan, was personable and funny and didn't let any extra costs go by without notifying us. I appreciate that. Everyone was great, and willingly wearing uniforms that seemed uncomfortable at best. But it's part of the theme. Standouts: flower pot bread and strawberry butter, moonshine tastings, and sawdust pie. Go once just to experience it if you're nearby.

The waitresses were very friendly and great at their job. The menu was quite extensive. Our food came pretty quickly. Biscuits were fluffy and sausage gravy was so good and just the way I like it. My husband said the coffee was very good. I had unsweet iced tea and it was good as well. Don't forget to ask for a senior discount if you are a senior. The ticket was less than what we usually eat for at Cracker Barrel. We will definitely come back when camping here again! Wonderful service, even on a busy holiday. Struggling to keep up with a busy lunch rush, but they were holding it together quite well. Clean restrooms. Had the meatloaf special. Not fresh made meatloaf. This was more of a minced, spam-ish beef product with can gravy. Didn't taste like home, sadly. However, veggies were fine as were the fries. And for the price, overall a good value. This is a fine diner. I'd recommend sticking close to the short order classics.

For our entrée, we shared the pork shoulder, and it was absolutely delicious. The fennel aioli was such a great touch, and the combination of pork, peas, and greens made for the perfect Southern bite. We enjoyed it so much I wish we could go back tonight! We took a slice of lemon chess pie to go, and it was every bit as delicious as the rest of the meal. Kyle was our server and was fantastic--very knowledgeable and helpful with our selections. We showed up right at opening, five o'clock, and there was already a long line of people waiting to get in. Make a reservation. I'm glad we did. We had a party of four and was seated at a low top that had a view of the kitchen. Lively open space with an open kitchen you can see both the cook line and the prep area. The cornbread was the unexpected standout of the entire meal. Mildly sweet, savory, light and fluffy all the way through. I was not expecting a side dish to steal the show, but it did. We also ordered the double stuffed burrata, and the bread it came with deserves its own mention. Crisp, lightly toasted, with just a touch of char. It paired beautifully with the creamy burrata and the accompaniments on the plate. For my entree I went with the grilled Caesar salad and added shrimp. It ended up being the perfect call. The portion was generous, the shrimp addition made it feel like a real meal. The romaine had this excellent crisp char on it that added so much. The dressing was heavenly. One of the best Caesar dressings I have had in a while. My favorite parts of the night had nothing to do with what was on my plate. We got to watch chef Sara Bradley working the kitchen with her team during service, and it was clear why this place has the reputation it does. I'd love to come back and try the prix fixe tasting menu next time. Overall this was a great experience from start to finish. And a must stop or destination when driving through KY.
