It was myself, husband and our three older kids and we felt bad coming in a few minutes after 9 pm, since they close at 10 pm, as we didn't know how long the food would take and we didn't want to keep anyone here past closing. Had dinner tonight at Cracker Barrel it's located close to our hotel. Plenty of parking- seated right away. Our waitress (Breanna) took good care of us. I had pancakes scrambled eggs and sausage. This review is based on their friendliness to RVers and staff service because I am not a big fan of the food. Cracker Barrel is our favorite location when we are RVing on the road and needing a place for an overnight stay. We never have problems finding a spot at any Cracker Barrel in every state we traveled to in the United States. We usually have a breakfast here before hitting the road. Hubby loves the food here. We were the first one waiting for a table, but no one greet us at the restaurant entrance for about 10 minutes. Understand they maybe understaffed due to COVID situation. Then she got an attitude when she dropped the check and we asked for 2 ice teas to go. I recently checked out Cracker Barrel for a nice Sunday brunch. There was somewhat of a wait, so it's recommended you sign up for the waitlist before you arrive. By the time I arrived I only had to wait for about 10 minutes. Once seated our waitress was prompt and responsive to all our needs. The food was good, but some items were warm like they had been sitting. We ordered the pitcher of the mimosas and they were good, but the pitcher did arrive at the table almost half empty. Savanah has loads of great food, but this Cracker Barrel would not be it. While some of the items were quality I am use to from here, some not cooked well at all. Extremely Disappointing Service - Left Waiting for No Reason I arrived at Cracker Barrel at 9:25 PM after a 5.5-hour drive in pouring rain, exhausted and just looking for a warm meal. They close at 10 PM, and while I normally don't go to restaurants this close to closing, I was too tired to go elsewhere. Upon entering, there was no host at the front, and we stood there for five minutes while at least two servers stared at us without saying a word. Eventually, we asked the cashier at the front desk if someone could seat us. She went to the back and told us to wait for someone to come out and seat us. 10 minutes passed--still nothing. I asked the cashier again, and this time, she disappeared into the back for another 5 minutes before finally returning to say that we had to be on a waitlist to be seated. Mind you, this was 20 minutes before closing, and they claimed it would take 30 minutes to seat us. How does that make sense when they don't even have a hostess? At this point, it was clear they simply didn't want to serve us and should have been upfront instead of wasting our time. We already knew exactly what we wanted and would have been in and out quickly, well before closing. Instead, we were left standing around while staff ignored us. I will be calling the manager, Marshall, in the morning to discuss this unacceptable experience. If they were short-staffed or not taking new tables, just say so--don't string tired customers along and waste their time. Completely unprofessional. Will not be returning. read more

Before we left on our road trip, my teenage daughter had one request; Cracker Barrel. We ate at one on our previous road trip and she had fond memories. We arrived for lunch on a Wednesday at 2:00 and the four of us were seated immediately. Hunter was our server and she was awesome. My husband ordered the smoked southern grilled chicken with beans and greens as his side. My sons ordered the hand-breaded chicken tenders with fries as his side. My daughter ordered the grilled chicken tenders with mac and cheese as her side and I had the kids chicken tenders with potatoes as my side. My daughter ordered the strawberry lemonade and it was delicious. I was kicking myself for not ordering it. Weeks later, she is still talking about how good that lemonade was. We enjoyed looking at all the pictures on the wall while we waited for our lunch and my daughter mastered the peg game. Our order arrived in a timely manner and it was piping hot. We asked for a lot of sauces and every single sauce was delivered with our food. Thanks Hunter! The food is always amazing at this place as long as you eat in. If you do take out, be sure to check everything before you leave. Always we have missing items. The actual wait staff when you eat in are friendly. However checking out at the store part is not a fun experience. Too many young females that are busy chatting with each other. There's always a halfway stop and this time was in Savannah and my hotel was right near Cracker Barrel so I went in. My server, Tatum, was personable, but professional. I ordered the meatloaf and although it was good, it was warm. It wasn't hot but... I was tired and hungry so I enjoyed it. The coffee was perfect. It was hot. I drink it black . The majority of Cracker Barrel are neat and clean and their store is always tempting so I would recommend this restaurant if you're passing through Savannah. I visited Cracker Barrel Store # 0052 recently, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant due to our server Eva. The server Eva appeared very unhappy, short and rude. We had to repeat our requests multiple times for water and missing food from our orders. To make matters worse, when Eva delivered plates to the table she threw them down in such a matter that was very aggressive. Lastly, when it came to ordering food. Eva the server made me repeat my order for chicken 3 times acting like I was speaking a different language. Eva is very rude and disrespectful with her tone of voice, her body language talking aggressively with her hands, her annoyed facial expressions, not picking up dirty dishes, and never saying your welcome after my family said thank you plenty of times. Eva shouldn't be delivering any customer service with her poor attitude and lack of manners. Never had this experience at any cracker barrel before! read more

A rip roaring fire, in their large fireplace, greeted customers on this cold December morning. The line was slow moving, tables social distanced, and an abbreviated menu due to COVID (I'm assuming). This Cracker Barrel is like all others with wide front porch with rockers, vintage signs, huge river rock-wood burning fireplace, old photos, gift shop, timeless snack foods, and an array of quality jams, syrups and their mixes. While service and food quality will differ from restaurant to restaurant, their brand will not. Our server, Monae, greeted us quickly, and our beverages arrived in the same manner. Great job! Got a to go order and all the to go spots were full from people parking there to go inside the restaurant, when you arrive it says if there are no spots available to find parking and put your hazards on and someone will bring your food. I parked facing on of the to go spots and the manager called to say he's not going to bring my food cause I was not in a numbered spot. I stated that it says to just put hazards on and someone will bring it. He said I am not walking across the parking lot(one parking space past number 3) and that nowhere does it state that anyone will bring you your food outside of the numbered spots. We were told around 30 minutes and waited 40 minutes for a table of 5. Once seated our meals came 20 minutes after we placed our order and our daughters unfortunately never showed up. The waitress brought pancakes with no syrup and when it finally showed up our pancakes would of be cold had we not eaten them. In the end, we had to leave with no meal for my daughter. I was stressed out because we had to go to the airport to drop off my brother Inlaw and initially thought we had plenty of time! Never contemplated such a delay, Hence I complained and a nice lady I believe was the manager Miss Yulavi hope I spell her name correctly was gracious and gave us some meals for free with a sincere smile and eye contact and "I'm so sorry". So thank you for being professional Miss Yualvi and helping a little redeem our bad experience. One other sensitive point I would like to mention is that Cracker Barrel Social Media Instagram has Pride flags on it and has clearly missed the reality of its customer base. Customers do not want to be lectured on normalizing a sexually deviant lifestyle, which many consider a mental illness that is praying on our children. Went there today with a group of people. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, but the service was extremely slow and the server was very inattentive to the entire table. We even had to ask another server to ask our server to come back. My second side item wasn't served and by the time it got to the table, it was cold, so I imagine it was sitting somewhere for a while. Even checking out was miserable as nothing rang up correctly. You just don't normally expect to spend 15 minutes trying to pay a bill. A manager finally showed up. An apology would have gone a long way. In any event, we won't be back. The location was convenient to our hotel so we grabbed breakfast here, but next time we'll drive elsewhere. We placed an online order to save time before a long day of driving, but it was a half hour late past the pickup time. Another customer was dealing with the same. It's a Tuesday morning, hardly a busy day to be so behind. The food was terrible. The scrambled eggs were not mixed well and had egg shell in them. The hash brown casserole looked like they just fried up all the kitchen scraps, including apples, random meats, and excessive amounts of cheddar cheese, with hardly any actual hash browns in it. I don't know how anyone can mess up the easiest meal of the day to cook, even my spouse who finally learned to cook at the age of 40 can make a better breakfast than this . My kids barely touched the food, and none of us are picky eaters, we have pretty low standards so that's saying something. Headed out of town we needed some breakfast or some lunch, but it was inbetween time. Thank goodness for the Cracker Barrel being there to service us a heavy breakfast at a cheap price.
