A MUST TRY!! Just tried this place out today and everything was an absolute 10/10 ! From the ambience to the service just perfection! You walk immediately smell the delicious bbq wafting through the air, the ambience is very southern decor with southern music playing, and you are greeted but such a sweet waitress! We ordered a couple of sweet teas which were delicious and sweet! We also got the brisket dinner with mac and cheese and baked beans, the tri tip dinner with Mac and coleslaw , and the pulled chicken sandwich. All meats were cooked to perfection ! They have 3 delicious sauces on the side to choose from to add to your meat experience . The Mac and cheese was nice and cheesy and tangy! The coleslaw was nice and cold and perfect! The baked beans were sweet and spicy ! We also got banana pudding and peach cobbler both amazing and the peach cobbler came out steaming hot so good! Will 100% be back! I went here purely by accident. I initially went to the blvd to the farmer's market, but it was so sad and I needed dinner... on my way to my car I saw this place and decided to give it a try. I ordered the tri tip dinner combo with beans and Mac n cheese. The tri tip came on a bread accompanied by this cute little cornbread. Meat was tender and flavorful. Mac n cheese were little less cheesy for my liking, but nothing bad. Beans were great. To those who don't really care for black pepper forward seasoning, perhaps try other side dishes, because both of the sides were black pepper forward. I don't mind, but I know some people care about that. I would come again for sure. read more

I had this delicious tri-tip sandwich.... OMG SO GOOD. It was flavorful, I tried all the sauces, hell fire is the right amount of spice! I was looking for a place to eat and I fell across Cracker Jack barbecue I decided to stop in for lunch since it was a new restaurant and lo and behold I fell into exotic goodness I had the two meat combo with the link and the tri-tip I've got to say the food was so flavorful that it didn't require any barbecue sauce. No cap! It was real nice inside not loud very casual dining. The service was on point Cindy was an awesome waitress. She was very attentive made sure my water glass was full asked me if I need anything else and always around to make sure if I need anything she was there. Pretty good barbecue for Lancaster. We have no barbecue out here so this place is second to saucy b's food truck on the flavor. Corn bread muffin isn't served hot but it's pretty good and sweet. Meat comes unsauced because they provide 3 bbq sauce flavors at your table. Macaroni was 6 1/2 out of 10. Ribs were 8 out of 10. Garlic mashed potatoes sorta didn't have a garlic flavor.... Food was great along with the sauce choices, only issue I had was the server. We sat down server said she would be right with us to order our drinks waited for a while other people started showing up and she started with the other people! Only reason I finally got our drinks order placed was because the owner came up and asked if anyone one was helping us. The food was everything we had hoped for. The ribs were very tender, the greens were just like my grandmother made them, potato salad was tasty, the baked beans were over the top. We topped things off with black berry cobbler which was as expected, yummy. The service was excellent. The ambiance took me back to my childhood when my parents would listen to down home blues, while laughing and talking with my aunts and uncles.
