My husband and I went in at 5pm on a Friday. They were pretty slow which I was surprised. Our waitress took our order and we didn't wait too long for our food to come out which was very nice. We had ordered the $31 crab boil special and the shrimp basket. Both were very delicious! I had ordered the pineapple sunrise drink that was on special for $4.99. It tasted great but had absolutely no alcohol in it. (trust me I'm a lightweight) Once our waitress dropped off our food she was gone for a good 45 mins. We enjoyed our food and we were finally ready to go. (Keep in mind my husband only got one soda no refill.) She finally came back and asked if we were ready for the check. No how's your food or nothing... The food was great but the service not so much. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND FOOD. If you want seafood, go to the beach. The Cracking Crab is more expensive than the beach restaurants. I ordered the catfish and oysters but received something different (my wife received the wrong food as well). The waitress says "sorry" and starts to take another table's order. After finally getting the food I ordered (after a hour wait), it was Walmart food. Literally.!! The catfish was 98% breading; so much that I was unable to tell it was fish. Getting sick of typing. It is a clean and beautiful restaurant - we went on a Monday and ordered snow crab by the pound which was well enjoyed. Our server seemed a little off but nice. I ordered catfish with sweet potato fries and water, so did my mom. Our catfish was fresh and hot - our fries however were hard as rocks. I do not complain over food (I have my reasons) I ate the fish and when the server came back to ask if we needed a "to-go" bag, I explained that ouR fries were over fried and too hard to eat. He took my basket walked over (two tables away) to explain this to his manager- I heard him joke about it and the server said they would take 3 dollars off my 57 dollar ticket. It was ok, I went with my loser hunnii (lol). We had been having a taste for some Cajun flavored seafood.. It was good, but we both ended up with the B.Gs (bubble guts) later on that night. We are thinking the crab legs was either a little bit undercooked OR they are using frozen seafood (seafood thats not fresh). You do gotta keep in mind, because of the coronavirus pandemic; alot of distributors are closed so the restaurants are doing what they can to keep business alive. It was empty except for a couple of other tables. Service was quick. We ordered side salads for an extra $4 that were explained to be small bowls but were quite large with lots of extras such as cranberries. The sweet tea was yummy. We ordered the steamed seafood specials A and B with mild, butter garlic. It arrived in a big plastic bag that it was steamed in. Fun experience! We were born in Pensacola and this was by far the best steamed seafood we've EVER had! The sauce was beyond delicious, and it would've been great to have a loaf of baked bread to dip it in. Everything was fresh and easy to get in to. Don't wear your best clothes. You'll get messy!! My dad got the fried shrimp basket with fries and said it was delish. He said there were "plenty" of shrimp for $11.50 The only negative was the cost, but you're going to pay anywhere you go for this kind of seafood. Place was recommended to us by one of our friends. We went on a Friday night. Place was super pack. Took almost an hour to get our food and a drink from the bar. The staff seems so overwhelmed. My husband had to get up and get his own coke refills. People kept walking out because they waited forever just to get a drink. Everyone in the restaurant seem so disappointed with their service. Had lunch on a Wednesday, we were the only customer here. Service was very slow. Ordered Calamari appetizer. It was pathetic, skinny little rings with way too much breading and no flavor, only dipping option was marinara which had no flavor at all. Wife ordered the chicken sandwich, which was a pre-made breaded piece of chicken a slice of onion and tomato on a bun, totally dry and didn't offer to bring anything for it. The restaurant was clean and service was excellent. The best description I can offer for the crab cake is a bland hush puppy with little of any crab. The #2 Steamer was overcooked. The shrimp was chewy and the crab legs were so overcooked that the spiny shells were actually soft. It really isn't worth the wait. read more

If I could give negative 5 stars I would. The service was beyond slow! Arrived at 8:50pm and placed my order within 5mins of being seated and did not receive my dinner until 1 hour later. When my food finally arrived the food was incorrect (ordered HEADLESS shrimp within the boil, but every single shrimp was head on of course) due to the fact the restaurant was closing within the next 10mins I told my server I would keep the boil and would take a side headless shrimp because AGAIN I had already waited an hour for my food and I knew the kitchen was closing. Moments later the manager approached my table and told me if I wanted the correct shrimp I would need to dig all of the incorrectly made shrimp out of my boil because the kitchen would not remake the shrimp the correct way if I did not. (At that point I was beyond annoyed, hungry and just wanted to eat what I ordered instead of dig through a boiled to fish out their mess up) I processed to tell the manager that was extremely unorthodox and asked for the owner's contact information. He then proceeded to say he was the owner. So "the owner" couldn't tell the kitchen to make a simple side of headless shrimp. The issue was not resolved professionally. Instead I was treated as if I wanted free food. I will NEVER return to this establishment again. The boil was extremely salty and over cooked to begin with. JUICY SEAFOOD is way better. read more

The food was pretty good. I ordered wings and a crab & shrimp boil, comes with corn and potatoes, we added sausage to it. Got the special sauce, medium heat. Wasn't as spicy as I expected but it did have a small kick and had good flavor. The crab legs looked great on the outside but didn't have much meat inside. Shrimp were good and not over cooked at all! Got lemon pepper wings and they were the best wings ever! Drinks were slow to get to the table but the place is new and people are learning. This was our first visit and it did not disappoint!! The service was amazing " ask for Michael" he provided great service. When we walked in we were greeted and seated immediately. Micheal took care of us recommending a great lunch option!! We had the 1 lb snow crab 1 lb shrimp combo boil with corn and red potatoes side of hush puppies, steamed rice and fries. Horrible rude host told us they were about to close when they still had 2 hours until then and said they couldn't seat us.We walked back into the restaurant and wanted to speak to a manager she then said that she was mistaken rolled her eyes and had someone seat us at that point it was at least 7 minutes before we got greeted and brought waters I was already unhappy and ready to leave but drive across town so we stayed. I then asked to speak to a manager he came and apologized and said " I'm sorry about this I'll see if I can do a lil something to your check" and winked and Walked off .....
