Came here for dinner after wanting a break from all things Disney. We actually walked from Disney Springs (I know we're crazy!). This restaurant is very spacious and clean. The two of us were seated at a nice big booth. Dulce was a fantastic waitress and checked on us multiple times, refilled our soda/water without us asking, and was really helpful with any questions we had. We ordered the large seafood platter. At first, I was nervous because we were told it would feed 3-4 people. It came with a pound each of snow crab, shrimp, mussels, clams, and crawfish, plus potatoes and corn, but it didn't end up being a problem for 2 big eaters! The boom sauce was flavorful... We wish there was a little bit more of it. My boyfriend and I were saying if we lived around here, we would go here all the time! We actually have a lot of these seafood boil places in the Bay Area, but this one is just as good if not better. read more

Ok so my family and I have never tried a place like this before but we wanted a new dining experience. We loved it! We shared a platter and some extra crab legs in garlic butter. Joey was our server, she's amazing! We told her we were newbies and she made great recommendations for us. We aren't much drinkers but everyone had a soft drink. We looked up other locations to find one closer to home, we will definitely be back. We went during lunch time on a beautiful sunny day. There were quite a few people there enjoying meals. Wasn't too loud in there. Lots of tvs with sports. Can't wait to come back read more

I came here on a Wednesday night at 11pm, it was my choice because it was still open. Fast friendly service. I ordered fried shrimp with one of their side choices, which was corn. The shrimp were obviously freshly fried as they came out piping hot and crisp. The sweetcorn was tasty, but came on a plastic bag with the sauce, thought was a weird concept. No cutlery is here but paper towels and wet wipes to clean yourself up with as it is mainly finger food. You get a bucket for your rubbish on the table lined with another plastic bag. Being a "green" person and fan of environmental issues it seems a lot of plastic n unnecessary waste to me. I was also sad to see plastic straws, rather than paper...when I get one of these I NEVER use them. read more

This wasn't our first choice to eat on a Friday night but after stopping by hooters (which had about 70% of tables open, and being told we'd have to go on a waitlist because of short staffing) we decided to go next door to Crafty Crab. We were seated immediately with Soeun, and she politely explained that they too, were short staffed so please be patient. That's all we needed to hear and we took our time and remained patient. Soeun was very nice and busy throughout our dinner but didn't feel rushed or overwhelmed, even though the restaurant was pretty busy. I didn't take photos of my food but I had the shrimp boil which came in a plastic bag with air in it. Definitely different to me but it was neat and probably allowed the shrimp and potatoes to soak up the garlic base. Others in my party got fried shrimp baskets and all of the meals were very big portions for a reasonable price. Not a bad place ti choose if your in the area looking for some decent seafood. read more

The Cajun seasoning here is AMAZING. We came here on a saturday night at around 9PM and waited about an hour, but it was well worth it. Even as we neared closing time, this place was still PACKED - probably because this was some NICE seafood boil. As mentioned, BE prepared to WAIT because this place is popular - especially on saturday night. My boyfriend and I ordered 1lb of snow crab legs, 1/2 lb of headless shrimp, 1/2 lb of clams, and 1/2 lbs sausages. We got the BOOM seasoning (mix 'em all) - HIGHLY RECOMMEND - along with a medium spicy level - It's SUPER mild and VERY VERY DOABLE, if you like spice i'd recommend bumping up to fire because we found the medium to be barely spicy. I also ordered a Mai Tai, but it was very whatever. I tasted a lot of sugar and not a lot of alcohol. We finished EVERYTHING we ordered and despite being VERY VERY full, it was well worth it. The seafood was fresh and the seasoning was probably one of the best boil seasonings I've head. My only regret was not going up a spice level. The service, as many people suggest, is whatever. Our waitress was super friendly but I think because this place is SO popular here that there's often a wait and the servers aren't super attentive because theres a lot going on. However, I think the food here is good enough that it makes up for the sugary drinks and average service. HIGHLY recommend for some GREAT boil. read more

Crafty Crab is absolutely amazing!! We called over 10 places while in Orlando to get a table for 12 and because of covid most will only seat up to 10. Nor separate us into two parties. That was not the case with them. No reservations so we got there around 7pm, waited around 30 mins and were seated. I can not remember our waiters name but was a man and he was very attentive to our party entire dinner. All the food was absolutely amazing! Kiddos also had chicken tender baskets & shrimp baskets which they all enjoyed! We will continue to be repeat customers!! read more

We are not locals, but happened onto this place when we were in town a few months back, and had to come back! Get the Boom Sauce, it's amazing! We both got the medium, not too hot, and it is perfect with the seafood and vegetables. The waiter was great, and the food even better. Someone said the bathroom was disgusting but both the men's and women's bathrooms were very clean when we were here back in December, and today. Go here if you want great seafood at a reasonable price. We will be back next time we visit the area. read more

Sheer Disappointment.... It has taken four visits for me to write a review. I really try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt but this one is a one star or less for sure. 1 visit - spent about $150 for two people with drinks and food plus a to go order. After I paid, we were waiting for the waitress and she never returned. I asked for help and no one could seem to help with my to go order of two pounds of shrimp. We ended up leaving without the to go order as 4 people hung out behind the bar and shot the breeze. Visit 2 and 3 were okay but in the heart of crawfish season they have frozen crawfish. Yet again, visit 4 and last visit, no fresh crawfish... crawfish season is November until July and here we are in early May and again frozen crawfish. I will just have to place an order myself tonight to have fresh crawfish on Monday. Such a shame... i read more

Came here on a not so busy dinner. Food was okay, more on the salty side. The only compliant I have was the service. We had no table touching. Our server only showed up twice and then disappeared. Had to ask the front desk for assistance. I'd probably try another spot after this experience. read more

YUM!!! Awesome place! Did not expect to love it so much. Our waiter Scott was cool, however, we did get calamari as our app and it came out with the meal (it's fine Scott we still loved it!!!) My sister got the friend oysters and she was very happy. My husband and I got the BOOM mix of seasoning with snow crab and headless shrimp. WOW! This place is pretty big and roomy. We came in around 9pm Sunday evening of MLK weekend and were seated immediately. The service was OK, nothing amazing. I would even consider it a bit slow. However, this is understandable with the current COVID and Covid-induced staffing struggles. The small seafood combo was $45.99 and was enough food for the 2 of us. It comes with head-on shrimp, snow crab legs, crawfish, mussels and clams accompanied with corn and potatoes. You CAN substitute out what you don't want. The corn is fresh corn, not the frozen stuff most other places use. The sauce was lacking in flavor. The shrimp were extremely fresh and perfectly cooked. A half-pound of sausage will run you $4.99 and 2 boiled eggs will set you back $2.50. Sausage was ok and the eggs were over cooked. The dozen oysters for $20.99 was amazing. Big fat oysters! This was definitely the highlight of the dinner. Overall, a nice place for a seafood boil but nothing over the top. Worth the stop but I've definitely had better flavor elsewhere. read more

Ordered 1 Dungeness Crab (Cajun, mild) delivered through Grubhub to our hotel room- was quoted 50 mins and had it in 30! DELICIOUS!! Crab was great- lots of meat and don't pass up on those potatoes- yum! Nice to eat this meal in the privacy of our home! No table manners needed! We had butter so melted some for dipping on our own; would def ask for some extra butter on the side if you don't have any handy! read more

Went here for a friends birthday! I'm from Massachusetts so I know GOOD SEAFOOD when I taste it and wow this is the place. It is Louisiana style. You can choose between three different spice options or mix them. My friends recommended I get them mixed for the full effect and I was not disappointed. You can also pick how spicy you want it; I'm not a huge spice person so I kept it mild. I ordered a half pound of shrimp and lobster tail. My only critique is that I don't feel for the amount of meat in the lobster tail it was worth it... northern seafood is so cheap so paying $15 for a lobster tail when I can get a whole lobster for $8 was a but much. But other than that the food was great! If you want fresh seafood, this is the place. read more

This was a hard 3, could have made 4, but I will provide details, but 5 stars for our server, he was awesome, don't remember his name but he was top notch. Now we had several orders, all shrimp, 2 were the original Cajun and one with the everything sauce don't remember the name, we had the medium since we have never been here before. The medium sauce has zero heat, so we had some of the powdered heat brought over so we could add manually, this helped bring up the heat level to a medium in my book. The sauce could have been better with actual chunks of garlic like I have had at other places, this was just plain sauce with garlic flavoring, the butter was also MIA, if it had any it was a very small amount,need to add the good stuff, already pricey make it worth the money spent. Having a side of French bread to go along to help slop up all the sauce would be wonderful,but they don't offer it. The drinks were good, wife had an original Mojito and it was spot on, I had a BlueMoon. The kiddos had the fried shrimp basket and they devoured it. All in all not a bad place, just hope they read some of my tips, that are perfect at other locations with this type of seafood. Again our server was a perfect 5. read more

I went into the Crafty Crab mad. It wasn't my choice for dinner but the weather had other plans. I looked at the menu and thought this is going to be a train wreck. I ordered the headless shrimp boil add sausage to share with a friend. The food came and I thought great I have to put on a bib and gloves. Y'all this is the best seafood place I've ate at! The food was so good and flavorful. It was way more than enough for me and my friend to share. Gloves and bins are necessary as it's so juicy. I've already started researching if there is one close to where I live to take the family. We will definitely be back! read more

Attending a training conference and saw reviews on Yelp and thought I would try it. The service was fantastic and the food was marginal. I ordered the calamari as an appetizer. They were extremely disappointing as they were obviously frozen and not fresh. I ordered the deep fried oysters which were very good. Sweet potato fries are same ol sand ol. Fresh brewed iced tea was great. So overall, not horrible but disappointing. I guess the seafood bags are terrific as folks around me got them. Guess I should have followed suit. Maybe another time I'll try that and likely higher rating. Stay away from the deep fried items. Just not worth it. read more

One word....Delicious!!!!!! Came to celebrate my daughter birthday and she really did enjoy it! The food was amazing she had the kids chicken tenders and fries with a side of honey mustard sauce and I had the Lobster special $38.99 it contained 2 potatoes, 2 corns, 1 lobster tail, 2 snow crab clusters & 1 lb. of headless shrimp. As the hostess walked away from our table, she commented that our group was going to be "nothing but a problem." The basis for that assumption? One member of our party had simply helped clear and organize the table to make the seating process easier and faster for the staff. Yes, we were a lively group. We were on vacation, having a great time at Disney, laughing and enjoying each other's company. What we were not was intoxicated. The situation escalated when one of our friends was accused of being drunk and our entire party of 10 was asked to leave. The problem is that she wasn't intoxicated at all. What makes this especially troubling is that our friend has worked incredibly hard to maintain her sobriety and recently celebrated 12 months alcohol-free through AA. To be publicly accused of being drunk after reaching such a significant milestone was humiliating, heartbreaking, and completely unnecessary. When we brought our concerns to the General Manager, Scott, we expected leadership. We expected someone who would take a moment to assess the situation, listen to both sides, and use his own judgment. Instead, he simply stated that he trusted his employees and made no effort to independently evaluate what had happened. A manager's job isn't to blindly accept accusations. A manager's job is to gather facts, assess the situation, and make informed decisions. In this case, Scott failed to do that. As a result, the restaurant lost a party of 10 customers. More importantly, they deeply hurt someone who has spent the last year fighting for her sobriety. That's the part of this experience we won't forget. Everyone makes mistakes. Great restaurants acknowledge them, learn from them, and treat people with dignity. Unfortunately, this experience was defined by assumptions, poor judgment, and a complete lack of empathy from both the staff and management.

My friend got the slushy premade margarita and she mentioned it was hard to drink. Tasty but the icee made it hard to drink. We sat on the dock side and heard and saw a back/side view of the band playing from across the way. We had a great view of the volcanos erupting from the restaurant across the way. It was great weather making it a great night for margaritas on the dock. The price came out around $20 per drink. I took a star off because the bartender wasn't friendly. When asked what's the most popular margaritas her answer was "they are all good" she seemed upset because we didn't know what wanted and had questions.

My favorite was the chicken wings and of course the Coctails. There was attention to detail on everything. Pretti our server knew her spirits and had great recommendations. I Went and visited the bartender whose name escapes me and he knew his spirits as well along with chartreuse. He showed me the Biggest bottle I have ever seen. The cocktails and bar on the first (2nd technically) floor was really great and affords you some great views. The lower level is where all the dining and live music happens and it is well done as well. Where things get mixed is the food. We had the gigantic pretzel, corn bread and biscuits, two Edison Burgers, the PBB sandwich, and our table mates ordered the steak and salmon. In general the burgers were good, though one of ours was missing half the bottom bun and the rest of the bun was really stale, and the sandwich lacked flavor and was a bit one note. Our dinner guests mentioned the steak was really good but the salmon was just okay. Our waiter Garret was pretty good, it wasn't overly busy but he did seem to struggle just a bit keeping up with his tables and there were times when we had to reach out to passing staff for silverware or refills. But, in general it was an okay time. In the future I'd probably skip the food and stick to drinks and enjoying the atmosphere.

I haven't quite figured out the food menu. But hey, P1VGB is not really, I don't think, that kind of place. GAMES? They have an excellent selection of old school vids. And whatever the game count, it goes up by 60 because they have at least 1 multigame rig (packaged in a Ms. Pac-Man cabinet). This combo brings you most, if not all, of the blockbuster titles from the 80s. They also have several rare machines. Last but not least, they THE SINGLE ALL TIME GREATEST COIN-OP SPORTS GAME! ATARI FOOTBALL!! Yeah, it's that much fun...I still have callouses and blisters from rolling that big ass track ball back in 1979! Pinball? Well, this is not a pinball palace, but, they do have about 8 to 10 tables. Great titles including Twilight Zone, Haunted House, and Jaws. In addition to the coin-op games that us Gen-Xers grew up with, they have multiple videogame consoles available. For a bar that offers this many games set on free play, admission is very inexpensive. I'd say that at any given time, 5 to 10 percent of the games are down. Not too bad. Located just up the street from Sofrito Latin Cafe, this place is well worth a few hours of time time. 5 stars!

They do offer discounts if you work at Disney or Universal, etc., they have some snacks as well as the Chinese food next-door to eat as well. Tonight I decided to have the cider boys caramel apple for seven dollars. It is probably one of my favorite sliders that they currently have and I also tasted the 1911 sugarplum cider. I did not like it though.

The spicy sesame peanut broth is rich, flavorful, and has just the right amount of heat. If I'm not in the mood for ramen, I always go with the shiso butter yaki onigiri with a side of pork chashu. They torch the butter right at your table, which is such a fun touch, and it smells incredible. The mentaiko fries are still a must order every single visit, and for dessert you can't skip the matcha tiramisu or the taro ice cream with the hot green tea. The ramen, grilled meats, addicting appetizers, fun drinks, awesome atmosphere, and consistently amazing staff are exactly why I keep coming back. Easily one of my favorite spots in Orlando.

I wish I could find the order form that I took so I could properly give credit to each of the delicious things we ordered. There's a menu and then a small piece of paper with pencils and you put in your order at the bar where they give you a number.

If you're looking for great food and don't mind a more self-service style experience, Tori Tori is worth a visit. I'll be back for the crab fried rice ;)

I recently went to Orlando for a conference, and while we spent the majority of our time in a large…read moreresort and convention center, the leadership of the organization hosting the conference hosted a special dinner in one of the reservable ballrooms at the Cuba Libre Restaurant. I believe it may have been the Havana Ballroom. There was plenty of food, drinks, and mingling. The Cuba Libre Restaurant staff were great, and the venue was well laid out and worked for this event very well. When we arrived around 6:30 PM on a Saturday evening for our event, we first mingled around the tables and near the cash bar. There were a bunch of large tables that we began to fill out. As our program began and announces made and awards given out, appetizers were passed out. We were offered Guacamole Cubano, Mama Amelia's Empanadas, and Shrimp Cocktail which we passed around to the entire table. Personally, I skipped the guacamole and shrimp dishes but absolutely loved the empanadas. Yum! Then, an individual Cuban House Salad was passed out with red wine vinaigrette. This was also quite tasty. Next came the entrees including a choice of Salmon Paradiso, Ropa Vieja, Citrus Chicken, or Paella Vegetariana. I was trying to decide between the Ropa Vieja (beef brisket) and the Citrus Chicken. While the Citrus Chicken sounded perfect, I asked the serving staff their advice, and they recommended the Ropa Vieja for a true taste of Cuba. I was happy that I did even though it may have been more heavy and with a kick than I was expecting. I'm still glad I ordered it though. It was wonderfully prepared! And then, everyone received Cuban Flan for dessert. The Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar celebrates Cuban heritage and explores Cuban flavors, music, art, and traditions. The mission of the restaurant is to provide an "escape" to Havana through exciting food and beverages and entertainment experiences to celebrate the Cuban people and their culture. Orlando hosts one of several of this restaurant around the United States. This restaurant is in the midst of the Pointe Orlando. Happy Hour is at the bar and bar tables on weekdays from 5 PM to 6 PM and weekends from 4 PM to 6 PM. They have a special Chef's Tasting menu during dinner. They also host weekend nightlife and shows on Fridays with a live band from 7:30 PM to 12:15 AM and a DJ and dancing from 10 PM to 2 AM on both Fridays and Saturdays.
