Shame, Shame, Shame, Mother's day was a disaster. They took orders on line and literally had like 100 people standing outside waiting for their food. No organization of line or order. Other restaurants had a "system" so that it was civil & organized. The security guard would come out every 15 -20 minutes and call 5 or 6 order #'s , none of who was outside. No social distancing was practiced. After waiting outside about 2 hours for an order that I called in an hour earlier, I left. Will call my credit card co. and dispute the charge for no service. I Love their food but will never go here on a holiday again. Management needs to step their game up running this place. read more

Great spot if you have patience, don't mind rap/hip-hop music in the background and loooooove seafood! When we sat we had to wait about 20 minutes before our server came to our table. I will say however once she did, she kept coming back and refilled my co workers iced tea without him asking! I got the half dozen raw oysters as an appetizer; it was good, not great in the fact that the oyster weren't cut so that you didn't need a fork to take it out and eat it. This place SUCKS! I ordered the large seafood platter & let me tell you everything was below par. All the seafood was soft & mushy, the clams were so tiny maybe 1/2 an inch big, the shrimp had the texture of baby food & the corn felt like it was at the bottom of the pot for days. The highlight was prob the snow crabs but those in themself were mehhh. Def not worth the money, this is what happens when you go to franchises though. Here is my experience there on February 26: First, let me start by saying that the food was delicious. Everyone in our party absolutely loved it. The service, however, was abhorrent. It was, I believe, partially my fault. I have a child who has sensory issues, and the volume of the music was really difficult for her. In truth, it was so loud you had to shout to be heard. I asked our initial server if there was any way whatsoever they could turn the music down, just a little, because my kid was twitching from the volume. He responded that most people ask them to turn the music up and stomped away. We never saw him again - he literally never came back to our table. To be honest, I believe he assumed I was a "Karen" or something, even though I asked very politely and provided a valid reason for my request. However, after we asked the young man to turn the music down, no one returned to our table for at least 20 minutes. And... the restaurant was not busy. I wanted to leave, but it was my daughter's birthday and she wanted to have a crab boil. There were more empty tables than not - so no excuse for such horrible service. I finally asked the hostess if we were going to be served, and she said she would look into it. She then started taking our drink orders and brought our drinks. About ten minutes later a young lady came to our table and stated she would be taking over our service from there. She took our orders, and we were served our food about 15 minutes later. Except, they forgot to prepare my husband's food. So, he had to wait another 10 minutes for his food. Then, the waitress never once returned to our table. Some of us got our food pretty spicy, so our drinks ran out. I tried to get someone to wait on us, but no one would. I had to go out to my car to get water bottles for everyone. I finally went back to the hostess stand and asked if someone could bring us something so we could package up our leftovers and bring us our check. Which happened maybe five minutes later. I genuinely believe the waiter who first approached our table refused to serve us because I had the audacity to ask them to lower the volume of the music. We just were not welcome there - it was obvious. I will never go back - ever. Good food notwithstanding, the service we received at this place was abominable. The more I think about how they destroyed my daughter's birthday with the horrible service, the more angry I get. Now, never let it be said that I am not generous. We still tipped $55 on a $200 check - because I know the servers don't make much money - and the food was good. But, it was really disheartening and disappointing, and again, they ruined my daughter's birthday. read more

The seafood boil was "smack your mamma" good, the staff was very friendly, the restaurant was very clean with no fishy smell, and I got my food in less than 15 minutes! I will definitely go back again! I give them 9/10! Now for my normal review. So I got the mild 1/2 lb snow crab & headless shrimp boil. I also added boiled eggs to it for an additional cost. They have three seasonings to choose from which includes their original Crafty Cajun one, buttery garlic, and lemon pepper. However, you can get all three mixed to make their "Boom!!!" seasoning. So of course I went with The Boom lol. The flavor was excellent, and it didn't taste too salty either. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. I really wish I added sausage to it but that would have added $5 or 6 to the price! Speaking of the price, my order came to $25. I feel it's a very fair price for the quality. Outside of the food, I loved the decor and vibe of the restaurant. This could easily be a nice date night spot. I know my pictures of the inside looks bright, but it was dimly lit inside. I loved the hip hop/ r&b they had playing in the background too. Also, they told me that they will start serving alcohol in November. Anyways, I highly recommend you guys give them a try! Crafty Crab is a popular seafood restaurant known for their seafood boil bags. We tried the 1/2 lb snow crab legs with shrimp and the "BOOM" seasoning which consists of the Crafty Crab original, Cajun, Buttery Garlic, and Lemon Pepper. We're crab lovers and this definitely was worth a try! The prices were average price, not a long wait for carry out, and GOOD crab meat. The only reason this did not get a 5/5 is because mixing all the seasonings gave us high blood pressure. It was extremely salty but we plan to try just one seasoning next time! read more

Wish I would've taken a pic but the take home seafood boil was really good. It was my first time trying the Crafty Crab since they opened in my area. I ordered a 1lb king crab & 1lb snow crab legs combo, and a 1lb lobster tail boil and a dozen steamed scallops. Everything was delicious and fresh, flavorful and they give you a good amount for the price. I would really recommend this restaurant. My favorite was the snow crab legs. My only complaint is that the sauce made the king crabmeat extra salty, so if you are watching your sodium I recommend to ask for light sauce or sauce on the side. Cold fried shrimp tasted like they were fried the day before. Greasy and tasteless carry out.

First when you enter - a lot of youngsters working. But noT a negative, they were all nice and respectful. Ordered the fried shrimp basket. Both shrimp and fries were tasty and well seasoned. I will need to return so that I can try the seafood boil. Didn't take long for my take out order to be ready. We came to this location at 9pm and i was told that the latest they accept people for dine in is 9:15pm. The order came out incorrectly the first time and by the time the second order came out correctly, we were forced to leave before 10pm. First the security officer came over and asked if we received the bill in the middle of us eating our meal. A few minutes later he came back with bags incenuating that it was time for us to leave. My partner then asked if we were being forced to leave and the security officer said he can't force anybody to leave but they were closing in 3 minutes when it wasn't even 9:57pm. Not only were we forced to leave without finishing our food but we were lied to so that the coworkers could get off exactly when there shift was over instead of placing the customer FIRST. It was horrible customer service and i will not ever be coming back to that location. DO NOT DINE IN. Server name was Tiffany by the way. She was very rude when forcing us to leave. Very pleasantly surprised by our first visit. My husband went overboard and got the largest boil available. He was happy as could be. Generous amount of crab legs, large crawfish, good sized shrimp, mussels, and clams. He loved the seasoning (personally I thought it too salty, but I think EVERYTHING is too salty) and quickly realized that he had the makings of a good sized doggy bag for the next day's lunch. My daughter ordered the fried shrimp platter and I ordered the fried oyster platter. Both were well executed with light breading and a perfect amount of fryer time. The seafood taste was there! Be warned that their fries are crinkle cut if you are a shoestring fan. Ivan, our server was awesome, despite being pretty much responsible for the whole room. This is a good spot for your seafood boil. They have different sauce options: cajun, buttery garlic, lemon pepper or 'the boom' (mixture of them all) then you choose it to be mild, medium, fire or dry. I got fire snow crab legs and headless shrimp in the boom sauce and it was SO good. They all come with potatoes and corn. I added deviled eggs but you can also add sausage. As far as their regular menu goes we didn't order their fried baskets but from talking with other customers they wouldn't recommend it; bland taste. I did order wings and they were.. 5/10. Stick to the seafood in the bag! Servers were nice. You can carry out or dine in; it's pretty big inside. They do not sell liquor (yet). I would give it a try. read more

I've found the seafood of my dreams. All I ever wanted was some easily accessible crab legs and ting. All I wanted was to have it In some bomb ass sauce. Back in New York I was only able to find this at The Boil, here I've found it at Crafty Crab. That boom fire sauce is off the chain. Everything is perfect. They don't have their alcohol license yet but you don't need alcohol. You need a half and half. Everything was scrumptious. Our original waitress sucked ass which is why they only got 4 stars. My wife had went here a few weeks ago and has been talking non stop about how good it was. I finally decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. I order a pound of shrimp and crab legs in their mild sauce. The broil came with potatoes and corn. The seasoning is spicy addictive. It was more than enough food for me. If I could give this restaurant 0 stars, I would. Server Kristen was rude and extremely unprofessional. She took our ordered and disappeared for over 45min. In order to get served our drinks we had to request a manager. My food was taken from the kitchen due to Kristen's lack of attention. As she was addressing me she answered a personal phone call. After 1 hour and 37 minutes I received my food, which was only ok and that is forgiving. I have never received the level of poor service as received at this establishment. To top it off I was aggressively followed out of the restaurant by the server Kristen. Who identified herself as a manager at the establishment, to address my displeasure with her service. I've been there at least five times with different friends I've invited . It was very cold on each visit and we asked for coffee or tea to warm ourselves while the order was being prepared. We were informed they don't provide either. To the manager, it's easier to provide hot drinks to your customers, than to wait on getting a liquor license. Cold drinks on cold days doesn't go well. Also, the boiled seafood baskets are tasty, but too salty, cut back on the salt and put salt shakers on the table for those who enjoy extra salt on their food.
