I had some minor scrapes on my car. The manager Carlos was very helpful, courteous, and professional. He had the scrapes buffed out to the extent that I could hardly see them, despite the fact that the paint was scratched through. I had a lease return vehicle, Tesla Model 3, that I needed to get fixed before returning. They were recommended by my insurance carrier and got me in, were fast and efficient, took care of me even though I was 30 min early for the initial estimate appointment. They told me that it was likely that they would be able to meet my deadline but warned that if parts are not available then there will be delays. In my case there were no delays, dropped off the car on a Wednesday morning, got it back on a Friday lunch break with not only a shiny new bumper but also the whole car was washed and detailed. Decided to go with this shop after being involved in a hit and run and it conveniently being located close to home. Evelyn was who helped us out throughout this whole process and was kind and very thorough with insurance coverage. Updates were also very appreciated since they do keep you informed. However, upon receiving my car I did notice some deep scratches to my tint. The tint on my car was days new prior to being involved in this hit and run and was perfect prior to dropping it off. I did not bring this concern up to the office as I do not believe anything would have been done about it but I would have appreciated if they were upfront about this. Another family member was also involved in a hit & run and recommended them this body shop. Since it was a minor hit to the drivers door everything turned out well and appreciated the vacuuming to the inside of the car. All in all they'll get the job done but not sure how honest they'll be if they do any damage to your car. read more

I brought my car here back in December, they took a month with my car . Every time I picked it up the same problem / codes would pop up . I recently went to my car dealer ship and they said I had a misfire could be from one the things this shitty place replace . I went on Friday to speak to the manger looked up my paperwork and said their wasn't anything about my coils being replaced when they couldn't even figure out the problem back in December. The guy that did my paperwork pointed out that they thought it was my coil but really problem was something else . He physically showed me that they changed the coils. New update 7/25/24 so the guy that help me back in December happen to quit this week , I had a meeting with his manger and my AAA agent today 7/24/24 at Mazda . Mazda did their own analysis of the part crash championships replaced and come to find out they crash Champions clerk quoted some of the items wrong to AAA. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE AT ALL. WORST PLACE EVER. I went to Crash Champions to get my car repaired on January 29, 2024 due to an accident that was not my fault. My point of contact was Stefan Flores. I picked up my car on February 23, 2024 and on my way back home, the door was making noises so I went back and waited 2 hours to get it fixed . The car was still making some noises the following day so I went the dealership that I got my car from to get it inspected since my car was on lease and I want to make sure everything was fixed properly. Crash Champions did a poor job with the repairs. The area under the door panel had a huge gap and the hood was making clanking noises. I went to my dealership twice (on Monday (02/26/2024) and Tuesday (02/27/2024) to get it inspected and found out the VIN certified manufacturer sticker has been removed from the door panel which is like a birth certificate of the car. I called the repair shop on 02/27/2024 to ask about it and Stefan Flores agreed that the stickers were removed which I did not know beforehand. He said he tried calling Honda and they said the sticker couldn't be printed again. He never told me that the sticker would come off or any other information regarding the sticker at all. If he had conveyed that message, I could've called my insurance and Honda to figure something out. The only information that I got was that he has to get the 2 doors and the panels replaced. My insurance and I didn't get any information about the sticker not being there anymore or the call he had with Honda. So, the dealership said they'll have to send the car back to Honda since the car is basically salvaged and has no use for them. Stefan Flores said he has informed AllState and I've been in touch with my adjuster who said that the sticker issue was never conveyed to him and the only thing he got was the estimate which did not indicated anything about the sticker. Mind you, the repair cost was around $16,000. My adjuster called my dealership and talked to them about it and they can't do anything since the car is basically a salvaged car which should've been determined salvaged by Stefan Flores or Crash Champions instead of getting it fixed. I called Stefan Flores to ask few more questions and he told me that he talked to his tech and they have the old sticker (he only told me this when I called him. Never called me to tell me about this) so I told him I'll pick up the old sticker on Saturday. I got a call before the pickup date saying that the sticker got broken when they tried to remove it which is very suspicious. The negligence and the poor communication from the repair shop has resulted in me loosing money. I ended up returning my car (still paying the monthly lease until August 2025) and getting a new one. I'm suffering consequences of someone else's action just because they didn't do their job properly. I reached out to the BAR and they got me in contact with the manager named Maria Lair from Crash Champions. I tried contacting her 3 times within a week (since it has been more than a month since she submitted the case to corporate) and did not get a response until the 3rd time of calling. She told me that the corporate denied the request last week and I asked her what's the reasoning behind it. She said she doesn't know. Not sure what kind of scamming business this place is running, but do not go to this place at all. You'll end up loosing more. read more

There is no appointment only sign but she let another one jump in front me and mentioned the waiting time is not guarantee, no estimation at all. If there is said appointment only, it is ok. But how can you put me down when I wait here for 30 mins already? I hit a slope with my Benz convertible. I searched Google found here and stopped by at the first time. Then the front desk keep chatting with other customers and when I wait here for 20mins already and asked she said another men after me had appointment. I was involved in a hit and run and went to get my car inspected at this shop, then I happened to get into another hit and run not long after! Took my car here to get it repaired and now all the scrapes and scratches are fixed. Everything looks brand new like it never happened. I would've given one star off because my completion date got pushed back a day and it wasn't updated until the day it was done but they washed my car and it seems like the inside was also vacuumed. My car had been damaged by another party and crash champion was the designated repair shop that I was sent to by the other party's insurance. It was a minor scrape on the right side passenger and wheel and when I checked on the website, it said it will be completed in a month. It was an unusual amount of time needed for this repair given the damages so I had to call and later it was adjusted to 2 weeks. I was very concerned about the duration of the rental car I needed since I didn't get proper notification for when my car would be ready and had to seek it on my own by checking the website which was not very accurate, so I had to rely on calling the shop for updates. On the date of pick up, it was delayed for 1 more day. On the day of the actual pick up, I called to confirm a time so I can plan around my work schedule. When I called, the receptionist, I believe her name is Suzanne and, was very irritable and rude to me over the phone when I asked about an update. She wasn't able to pull up information about my car and she was impatient and put me on hold 3 times to figure out what to do. She eventually said that she would have Joe call me back. 3 hours had passed so I called again, and another woman (possibly Esperanza?) had the same poor demeanor, signs of annoyance and sighs when asking for my information to pull up updates. She told me my car could possibly be done tomorrow (that's 3 different pick up dates/delay they had given me now) and this time Joe was on his lunch. That's fine, I had requested if he could call me back when he finished. My experience over the phone was very unpleasant because of the demeanor of both receptionist that had answered. They had a very poor attitude or short fuse when I simply ask for an update. It didn't seem like they were happy to look up any information or wanted to help me figure out when my car will be ready and kept saying they will tell Joe but Joe never seems to receive the message. They have no urgency or compassion for customers that have to plan around our own work schedules as well. This review is not for Joe, he has been very polite and professional in our interactions. Joe eventually calls me back and is able to update me that my car is ready to be picked up. When I arrive, Joe and the receptionists that he may be training walk me to my car and I'm just very relieved to get my car back. After I got my car back on the same day, I put on a jacket that I had left inside the car during the repair and found that someone deliberately had stuck fresh gum on the pull/tab of my zipper. Please note that I left this jacket in my car for the entire repair which was over a week and it would've harden if it was old. The gum seemed fresh and sticky... This was very malicious act that is demoralizing and unsanitary for my health. It makes me concerned if there is any other vandalism or tampering that was done with my belongings left in the car. I would have loved to communicate properly with the receptionists and hope that they did not do this to retaliate due to our interaction over the phone. This is extremely unprofessional and I hope crash champions revise the level of training, professionalism, and HYGIENE they do with their employees. :( read more

I hope I had come here and read the reviews before I choose this shop. To be fair, my first half of the experience with Crash Champions was fairly good. They got my Tesla repaired from a major weather damage, I got my car back in one piece in a fairly reasonable time frame. I could have given them 4-5 stars if my story ends here. But once they got their payment from my insurance, the customer service went quickly down the drain. At the pick up, I was told two small items were missing from my car. I can still drive it safely so I agreed to take the car and wait for them to get those two items repaired/installed later. So I waited and waited. Two months. No good communication after many emails. Empty promise again and again. They lost all the stars I could have given them, and they definitely lose me as a potential loyal customer. I probably need to file many complains just to get the repair completed. Very bad experience, definitely my last time using this shop. read more

I do not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you have a Tesla. I came here blindly thinking it was still what it used to be when it was Pan American, I figured it would resemble the service I received back then; that was my mistake. Here's my experience: 1. My wait was longer because I had to wait for another part that they didn't know they needed until 1 month after I dropped my car off (they should've identified this as soon as they diagnosed) 2. The communication by my service advisor, Maria was terrible. Every time I called for an update she never called or emailed me back. I had to go in to get an update and would get an attitude from her like it was my fault. Like, I'm sorry for getting crashed into and following up on my car so that I can continue my life. 3. Once I received my car back after months of repairs the alignment went bad, only to find out that they didn't replace the damaged subframe even though the insurance advised them to, according to them they didn't need to because they misdiagnosed and said it wasn't needed. Not only that, but they wanted me to pay for the alignment and bolts which I refused since it was their fault until Maria accepted with a response "I'm tired of dealing with this case, I'll just have the shop eat it". So here I was, driving my Model Y with a crooked steering wheel for another month until the subframe arrived. Once it did and I brought it in, I was expecting to get a rental car or uber credits paid for, only to get another response "Oh we used to do that as Pan American but we don't anymore", I had to pay out of pocked for this even though it was their mistake. Customers need to be put first in my opinion, I did not feel this way at all in this business. I will never return, nor will recommend anyone here. read more

I brought my car to Crash Champions to repair the damaged, it took 2 months to repair, and they charged a lot to insurance, almost $18,000 for a little dent on the side and the bumper got nock off. when I got my car back the back light was chipped, the sensor was not install correctly, one of the cover of muffler installed was not in place and they crashed the paint at the door. I had to brought back second time to fix, but they did not fixed the crashed paint. I talked to the manager he still doesn't want to fixed. They asked my family members to go inside the shop in order to fix our own car, nearly 5 times. We got the car back in November, half a year later and still broken, with the incorrect wheel and we are still in the process of trying to get the correct wheel on. My Mercedes Benz S550, rear bumper was repaired by Crash Champions this week in South San Jose. It was a very minor scratch (2 inch x 1/8th inch in size) on my rear bumper corner. They repainted left side of my bumper and the color, texture of the color and workmanship was very bad. The color and it's texture ( more shinny/glittering and looks goldish rather than Silver color from rest of the body) is different on the side of the bumper which has been repaired. The clear coat is also yellowish to make the silver color goldish as compared to the rest of the car body color. The color coating on the rear of the bumper where they blend with original color is also very wavy and not smooth (See pictures). I showed it to the body shop advisor on the pickup day and she agreed to get it re-painted as it was very visible and kept my car with them. But the next day she called and refused to repaint it and said that the painter will not re-paint it. I have told them that will not pickup my car until the paint work is done properly and matches exactly like rest of the body. It seems like their painter does not right skills and they even didn't use the genuine paint from Mercedes that they promised at the drop off time. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. Seek auto repair elsewhere, ANYWHERE else, if you can. I received text messages stating my vehicle would be ready today, April 8th. This has been the case since my car repair started, I was NEVER informed otherwise. Today, April 8th, my partner & I left work early (missed hours at work, therefore missed out on money to earn). I came to San Jose, CA from Monterey county, an HOUR away (time & gas money wasted). Upon our arrival, we were then suddenly told the car is not ready. Our insurance coverage for our rental vehicle ended on Thursday, April 4th, we have been paying out of pocket since then, we were under the impression (as we were told) that we'd be able to return our rental today. Obviously, that is not the case. Now we have to continue to pay out of pocket for our rental for an even longer, undetermined amount of time. As we STILL have yet to have a confirmed ready date. No notice whatsoever of the vehicle not being ready & now not even advised of an actual ready date. Absolutely ridiculous. Pathetic excuse for an auto repair company. read more

First I have to say the initial customer service was stellar. Mike was very responsive, to be honest I wasn't going to write a review because he was very good. But the workmanship was not very good. I have overcoat drip on my white tesla both under hood and on my main driver door. Both very visible. I was told I have a warranty so if the paint gets messed up then they can fox that for free. My car had been there so many times I gave up. The bumper paint came off when getting it wrapped. Yes I waited the specified time to wait and then some. Had to take the car back for that and had to pay.for a ride to pick it up. The straw that broke the camels back. They scratched my driver door tint. I was told they had a guy to replace it. He never showed. I took my car to have the tint fixed and I've been waiting since December 2023 for reimbursement. I've been waiting so long I forgot about it. When I finally called for an update I was told it is a process. Never heard of a process that takes almost 4 months. Not quite sure I would recommend this place. My experience with Crash Champions Collision Center was a complete nightmare. Brian, my rep for the service showed indifference, provided poor communication, and lacked accountability. My vehicle was delayed week after week and Brian said its due to Tesla part delays. Not once, did Brian ever been proactive to give me a call to update me about any type of status (even thought he said he would call me). I would have to call in to get any type of update. I ended up taking it into my own hands and contacted Tesla to see if the parts were actually ordered by the shop. I come to find out that the repair shop did not follow set procedures when there are missing items from ordered parts that were delivered and was pending action from the collision shop to get the rest of the parts delivered after speaking to Tesla representative. If I had not called Tesla about this, who knows when my car would have been out of the shop?? The repairs were subpar and the car was returned to me incomplete, missing the brand emblem, unaligned hood, and had system errors regarding airbag. I spoke with Brian about these errors and we agreed that I would bring in the vehicle when the Tesla emblem has arrived. I bring the vehicle in on the date we agreed on to find our Brian is not in that day and had told no one about my situation and what needed to be done for the car.
