    Rockstar Single Cookie
    Ashley H.

A fabulous newer spot for a sweet treat! I've passed by many times and can't believe it took me so long to finally stop by. The shop is pretty unassuming with just a few high top bar seats. The employees were friendly and very efficient. All of the flavors looked interesting, but I was a bit skeptical that they might be too rich and potentially have too much going on in each cookie. However, I opted for the Rockstar cookie and was very glad to be wrong! Although the cookies visually resemble Crumbl, they are closer to those sold at Levain- beautifully crispy on the outside with a warm and chewy interior. The Rockstar was filled with assorted chocolate chunks, toffee, pretzel bits, and topped with sea salt. Surprisingly, it was not at all too sweet. Will definitely be back soon and highly recommend this spot!

    Dubai crookie and Cookie Monster
    Kim H.

Warm cookies! The dubai crookie is 2 croissants smushed down with chocolate and pistachio sauce in between. It's more expensive than the other cookies and while good, I really loved the Cookie Monster better. It's like a cookie wrapped into another cookie with cookie dough on top. It was gooey and so worth the calories. I don't have any other stores to compare them too other than insomnia cookies and crave cookies are much larger and 20x better. You can order at the counter or on the iPad

Wow! Crave lives up to the hype. I tried the Oreo Smores cookie and it was warm, gooey, and delicious. Team members were friendly and kind!!!

Pretty good cookies. I've been twice, this time just got a semi-sweet chocolate chip cookie. They are definitely something you have every now and then as a treat. The staff is nice and you can see the kitchen which is clean.

If you're like me and watched the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, you saw the dirty soda craze. I had seen on Tiktok that Crave had dirty sodas and I was excited to try it out! The space is open, minimal, and bright. It is a smaller space, with a feel stools to sit and eat at, though not many, so I'd recommend taking your cookies/soda to go. There is mobile ordering at ipads under the menus and also a counter. I liked the efficiency of ordering from an ipad. I tried a Sprite with mango and strawberry puree and it was delicious! I initially ordered with syrup, but a worker was gracious enough to suggest puree since that's what she likes better. It tasted like a boba and was super refreshing. As for cookies, we ordered the Better Than Cheesecake, Carmelita, The Bueno, and Biscadoodle. These cookies are THICK! They're quite heavy, so be prepared when ordering (aka you probably can only finish 1-2). They are also served warm, which I loved. (And the box has reheating content printed on it!) Here's the skinny: Better Than Cheesecake: true to the name! A favorite. I loved the cream cheese tasting frosting on top. (Note: frosting melts if you reheat!) The Bueno: Another I'd reorder. This cookie had Bueno bars in the middle, and served hot, melted so nicely in the cookie. Carmelita: I didn't read what was in this cookie as a big caramel fan, but I felt it could be more caramel forward. It was also oatmeal, which I didn't expect. Biscadoodle: This one wasn't for me either. I wanted the Biscoff cookie butter to be more melty. I didn't love it with the snickerdoodle cookie either, but if you like snickerdoodle, this is a great choice. Overall, will be back to try more cookies + dirty sodas!

Crave Loaded Soda: berries & cream

one of my coworkers and I binged secret lives of mormon wives on Hulu and decided that we had to come get loaded sodas. i've never had one before and i was kind of gagged, they're actually kind of good lol ... our cashier was rly nice & patient bc it took me forever to figure out what i wanted. i ended up getting the berries and cream which was dr. pepper, raspberry puree & coconut cream. i was rly happy w the prices! 16oz was like $3-4 and you can add as many flavors/syrups as u want!! one thing ive learned from secret lives of mormon wives is that you absolutely must get the coconut cream in your dirty soda, and the taste is pretty prominent (which i like because i like coconut), but my friend got pretty much the same thing as me and got vanilla cream instead which i think wld be a great alternative if you want the same creaminess in your drink wo the coconut taste. she also got the chocolate chip cookie and i had a piece and it was actually sooo good lol. it was perfectly crispy on the outside and more cookie dough-y on the inside. cookies r definitely more expensive that i cld justify spending on a normal day though. there isn't any indoor seating but they have a little outdoor area to sit! i'd recommend grabbing a drink and taking a walk to the lake(:

There are different levels to cookies, and for me these were just what I was craving at the time! The cookies have a nice firm almost crispy exterior, but are super soft and gooey inside. I loved them, but for someone who prefers a more firm cookie these might be too soft, they were basically like falling apart as we were eating them, which again for me was AMAZING. The workers immediately greet me when I walked in and were very friendly when helping to take my order. They also had 2 tablets and huge menus showing all of your options. It was a very fast and easy process to get amazing cookies. The prices are a big high per cookie, but they are huge and almost more like mini cakes. I would definitely recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth! The advertising seems like they often introduce new flavors, I can't wait to stop in and try a few more of the delicious flavors!

Very good customer service and quick and simple I had called ahead to make sure they had the cookie I wanted . Eva was a great help and also very friendly. I will be back again.

Heard a lot about this place for cookies. I try crumble and chip city cookies. Comparing crave with these two places it needs a bit more of moist on the cookies. The original chocolate chip cookies tasted a bit salty and sweet. The dough is a bit dry for my taste . I try the Dubai cookies, the dough again. I would give this place a try again, maybe I came late to the place I don't know. Now I would say the employee was very helpful and welcome every customer as they walk in. Street parking .

I came across Crave Cookies on TikTok and immediately knew I had to try them, especially when I saw they had the viral Dubai chocolate in cookie form! I took a trip from downtown all the way to Lakeview, and let me tell you--it was so worth it. Crave has a concept similar to Crumbl, but honestly, they're better in both price and taste. When I walked in, they greeted me with a mini original chocolate chip cookie to try--a nice touch that Crumbl would never do. After placing my order, they let me know that each cookie is baked fresh, so there'd be about a 5-minute wait. Freshly baked cookies? Definitely worth the short wait. I went all out and got a six-pack, with a couple of specialty flavors that added to the cost, bringing my total to about $33. Given the quality of these cookies, I found the price fair. I tried a variety of flavors: the Dubai chocolate, Dubai Bueno, Dubai Biscoff, original chocolate chip, brookie, and the crookie. Here's the rundown: - Dubai Chocolate: This cookie was packed with pistachio and kunafa (a crunchy Middle Eastern pastry) and drizzled with dark and white chocolate. The pistachio flavor came through perfectly, and the kunafa added an amazing texture. Not overly sweet, just right. 8/10. - Dubai Bueno: Tasted like a Kinder Bueno bar, but the white chocolate drizzle was a bit much and made it overly sweet. 7/10. - Dubai Biscoff: Similar to the Dubai Bueno--good flavor but a bit too sweet. Definitely needed a glass of milk to balance it out! 7/10. - Original Chocolate Chip: This one was so good! Soft, gooey, and perfectly sweet. I get why it's an award-winner. 8/10. - Brookie: A bit of a letdown. Very dense and chocolate-heavy. If you don't love super-rich chocolate desserts, this might not be for you. 5/10. - Crookie: The star of the show! This croissant-cookie hybrid was heavenly. The flaky, buttery croissant with the chocolate chip cookie made for a perfect bite. So delicious and worth every calorie. 10/10. Overall, Crave Cookies gets a full 5 stars from me for their creativity, fair prices, amazing service, and even the packaging. The sleek black-and-gold box makes it feel like a luxury treat worth every penny. Quick tip: Crave drops new weekly flavors on Fridays, so there's always something new to try. Crumbl, it's time to let Crave take over--they clearly know what they're doing!

Wanted something tasty for dessert and came upon this place from IG…read more I ordered the cream soufflé and the matcha float. Both came out in pretty quick time even though it was a busy Saturday evening. Loved the cream soufflé! It was something different that I wanted to try and it wasn't too sweet which was amazing. The soufflé was so fluffy and hot and fresh. The cream inside was sooo good! Everything was well balanced together and the float was also great. Only downside is that it's a really small place. So inside felt very cramped and crowded.

We ended up getting the Matcha smoothie with red beans on the bottom, as well as a matcha float with Ube soft serve. My friend got the Matcha smoothie and said the Matcha was a tad bitter, but also a little too much he said that the Matcha and the ice wasn't really well mixed. Therefore it tasted a bit icy, but he agrees the overall flavor was all right, but he probably wouldn't get that if we came back. On the other hand, my Ube and Matcha float was absolutely delicious. I knew I wanted the Ube soft serve over the Matcha soft serve because I'm very picky with my Matcha, but I also didn't want to get Matcha tea as well as the Matcha soft serve as I figured that would be a little bit too much. I would literally come back just for the Uber officer, it was perfectly sweet, but not overly sweet and the texture was extremely creamy and soft, perfect for a hot day. I'll definitely be coming back just to get that and I also appreciate the server, giving us her favorite combinations and suggestions. It was extremely crowded by the time we left the place literally opened at 11:30, so you know the restaurant has a good reputation already in the community! We will definitely come back!

Lushious cubes of ripe mangos sprinkled with mango popping boba surrounded the mountain of soft, pillowy, creamy, mango milk ice, which was topped with mango ice cream, further drizzled with mango sauce. I wish I was able to travel with one of their cheesecakes but they require refrigeration. Anyhow the cheesecake itself was delicious super light, fluffy, and honestly felt like biting into a cloud. I had the salted egg but they had several flavor options that I would've loved to try if slices were available. The texture is what really stands out, and the flavor was unique and interesting in a good way. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it taste like, but it was sweet, but not too sweet They only sale but I consider a personal size but it's definitely enough to share with two people, maybe even three depending on how much of a sweet tooth you have. My only downside like others is the price. Paying around $19-$20 for a small cheesecake felt a bit steep, especially since they don't offer slices. I really wish they had smaller portions available so you could try different flavors without committing to a full cake prize. They package it very well and they also serve you a cute little fork set and a knife for cutting which I think is contributes to the price. The shop itself is very cute with chic décor and a lot of Asian-inspired artwork, which adds to the overall vibe. Customer service was friendly. When I visit Chicago again I'd definitely go back the texture and taste alone make it worth it but I do hope they consider offering smaller portions in the future.
