The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is for the taste of the food, it was really good. The service however was absolutely terrible. Man working the register was super nervous kept repeating my order like he wasn't sure what he was doing. My wife and I had walked in to order a carry out order, not eat in. While we sat and waited for our order (3 hot dogs and an order of fries), two gentleman who appeared to be factory workers came in and ordered "for here". They received their order well before we did and ordered just as much as we did. They have no idea what they're doing in there, fries were awful by the time we got our food, waited almost 20 minutes. Very frustrating 1st time visit, will most likely order carry out next time since you pay attention to those more. read more

We LOVE this place and stop whenever we travel to the area. Clean, friendly environment with large portions of food cooked to order. Our family of 8 each order a hot dog, then we share 4 large sides. We have yet to try something we didn't care for! My personal opinion is that the fresh chips are the best side, but I have kids that voted the fries and the fried pickles as the top choice. Pretty sure you will not go wrong with whatever you choose. And Tyler is the best at helping you choose the right dog for you! My 1st visit here and it was pretty amazing! I'm from above Dayton but attended Sleepy Hollow and was looking for someplace new to eat. I ordered the Chillicothe Dog with cheddar cheese sauce rather than shredded cheese. The gentleman at the counter said I was the 1st person to ask for it that way! We were craving hotdogs during our road trip and happened to find this place through Yelp. The hotdog selection was unreal- they had taco hotdogs to pulled pork hotdogs to the original coney sauce hotdog. We ordered the Chillicothe hotdog, mac and cheese hotdog, and the chili fry hotdog. Plus two orders of fries!!! Needless to say we couldn't breath afterwards but man, was it worth it! Not only was the food amazing but the staff as well!!! Very friendly service at this small mom and pop style place. I got the loaded fry dog and the taco dog. The loaded fry dog came in a full size entree to go container and was fullf homemade chili, fries, cheese, sour cream, bacon however the bun was on the verge of being stale in a few hours and the hotdog itself tasted like a regular ballpark beef hotdog you would make at home. The taco dog had lettuce, tomato, cheese, salsa, sour cream and crushed doritos which was a pretty good combination but just like the fry dog, it was served on an iffy bun and an ok warmed up generic hot dog. The fries are excellent, hand cut and thick! Had a decent experience but at $5.99 and $7.49 per hot dog I would expect much better. read more

This is a great local owned restaurant owned by some sweet people. The dining area and atmosphere is super clean and very chill. The staff are super friendly and willing to answer any questions about their extensive menu. I also loved that everything is hot, fresh & homemade. They have a ton of hot dogs as well as other sandwiches and sides to offer, including burgers, soups, and desserts. Today was my first trip and I got the Chillicothe Dog (their best seller, as it turns out) which just had homemade sauce, cheese, and onions. I really loved it! I got the combo and couldnt eat all my fries lol. The sauce was not too sweet but not to much chili base either. Thats usually about as fancy as I get with my hot dogs but they have an almost endless combo of specialty dogs & toppings. The prices are very reasonable too, especially for how much food you get. I'd definitely recommend this place if you're a hot dog/sandwich fan, or are looking for a cool new lunch spot. read more

I don't normally like 100% beef dogs. The one I had from here however was perfect! Fries wee a bit thick but still yummy and the portion was huge I had enough left over for two people! Awesome! Owners came out and chatted with us. They haven't been open a year yet but the food was incredible. We got the Chillicothe dog (5) the Mac n cheese dog and at least one other kind! We stopped in as we were passing through Chillicothe, guided by the solid 5-star reviews to a new restaurant I hadn't seen before. And by the time we left, we were very glad we did. First off, the place was quite clean and obviously well taken care of. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I think it was one of the owners who checked on us, and she was wonderful and hospitable. The food was excellent, as well. The menu offered a dizzying array of choice, and everything sounded delicious. My wife and I both settled on the same thing though: the Buckeye Dog (I made my mind up first, while she took the staff's recommendation). It was outstanding--high quality meat, a good bun, and the pickled onion was a nice touch. I had a bite of my kid's corn dog, and it was definitely a well-executed example. Overall, Crazy Dogs Grill is a cool place with nice people and great food. We'll definitely be back on our next trip through town. read more

This is truly a hidden gem! My family has visited at least a dozen times. Great place to go when you want to hang out with friends or family. The hardest part of each visit is deciding which sandwich to order! My favorite is the Reuben with the homemade pickles. The portions are quite generous. The homemade chips and fries are quite tasty! I have never eaten anyplace else that shows this type of desire for their customers to be satisfied. The owners are a joy!
