Nostalgia galore!! We stopped in on our travels through New York and waking in was a step back and time. There were old movie posters, action figures and other memorabilia on the walls and ceiling!! Very cool!! We got the 2 egg and meat combo with hash browns and bacon and the pancake combo with scrambled eggs and bacon. Let me say the portions were HUGE. I brought the pancakes back with us. Our server was very friendly and gave us some tip about the area as far as rock mining and activities.

Great food and great service. I would recommend this place if you haven't tried it yet. It can get busy at times but that just tells you how good they are. Always appreciate the service.

My husband and I visited this area for a wedding. We tried to look for a breakfast spot and voila found Otto! The food is good, love the ambiance and decoration. Can't believe they've been running for years! Staff are so friendly and quick. Love it!

Have called twice for take out. Service is friendly and food is ready when they say it will be. Appreciate that they offer gluten free toast and also gluten free pancakes at breakfast. However as many others have said they charge a $10 "convenience fee" for to go orders which makes an already pricey meal much more expensive. They also are not accessible to someone who cannot do stairs (unless there is a back entrance but if so it's not even remotely well labeled).

Decided to come here for lunch with the fam before leaving town. We were promptly greeted and seated outside. It was a beautiful day, so it was good to be in the fresh air. There were 6 adults in our party. Someone came out after a few minutes to get our drink orders and then food orders. Service was fast. I was not super hungry and my stomach had been a little off from breakfast, so I ordered a grilled cheese and chips. My husband ordered a Philly. The food was really good and exactly what we wanted. Everyone else enjoyed their meals, too. We saw the owner twice. He's very involved, which is good. When we were leaving, he asked us how everything was. That was nice. If you do sit outside, be sure to pop in and see the interior, too. If in the area in the future, I would definitely come here again.

Such a cool local place. The food is great- diner style so tasty. There is history and fun things to look at everywhere. The service is great. It was a really good experience and I would highly recommend.

Starting the day off with a hearty breakfast from Crazy Ottos! Finding your way into the parking area can be a little challenging but once you've figured that out... it's onto a great menu of several options. Seating is quick. Your morning choices of beverage is quick. Then it's decision time. What could you possibly choose. Daily special usually makes things easier. Portion is full for what you pay and the atmosphere is interesting and keeps your attention and imagination until you're served. Good morning to your ,about to be full stomach.

Crazy Otto Diner should mean the Crazy price of breakfast. Two kid combos of 1 pancake(with c.chips), 1 egg scrambled, 2 slices of bacon= $27 Food was good, atmosphere is authentic diner (which we loved) Service is as prompt enough but not busy. Food took a bit for what we ordered. Overall not dissatisfied but was pricey for sure.

Great and speedy service in a very unique 1950s diner. You can't beat the atmosphere at Crazy Otto's, from the license plates, old posters/figurines, to their decades of war appreciation and memorabilia! Overall, I'd be happy to visit again for some more of their massive menu. Kitchen slightly missed our order, but they were happy to make changes. Prices were a bit higher than we expected, but that's understandable for a spot with so much high praise! I think it's worth it, because they definitely don't skimp on portion sizes!

One of the best diners in the area. Veggie omelette was amazing and service was great. Reasonably priced but man the food is outstanding.

This place has a very cool outside, but the food wasn't very good. Had a fish platter, that was very over-cooked.

It was a nice day so we chose one of the two outside tables. It was about 10:15 when we placed our order. We got our drinks reasonably quick. They came by to refresh coffee once. And then we didn't see them for about a half hour. I'm sure it was busy and they're a small staff. But we were sitting outside feeling neglected. Meanwhile I'm certain everyone inside got what they were needing. I believe it was a case of out of sight, out of mind. Close to 11 I got up from my seat and went inside to inquire. The exact answer I got from one of the waitstaff was "We'll bring it out when it's ready." Not one acknowledgment of the wait. Not even one apology for the wait. I'd say the total wait was 50 minutes. We got our food about 10 minutes after that. Perhaps they got the hint. And then we finally got some attention to our drinks. But yet again, not one acknowledgement of the wait. Now the saving grace. The food we got was actually excellent. I enjoyed my breakfast sandwich. Everyone was happy with their food. Yet again I had to go inside just to ask for the bill. I didn't even get a "how was everything?" Maybe they were afraid to ask? Let me be clear. I understand waiting for food. I understand the kitchen may be busy. I'm not unreasonable. But feeling neglected should never happen. They seemed nice enough and I don't think they did it on purpose. I honestly believe that once you sit outside here you become out of sight, out of mind. You become the last priority and everyone inside gets their undivided attention. If I'm ever back in town I would come back because the food was that good. But I know where I'm sitting next time.

If I was to rename this gem, I would rename it " The Wait and See ". Wait to sit. Wait for to place your order. Wait and wait for your food. Then wait and wait for your drink. Then see if they bring you something to drink. Hopefully you'll get it before or with your breakfast so you don't have to dry throat your meal. I wasn't that fortunate. Asked twice even. Anyway , I'm sure it was just this one time. I'm not sure if I want to wait 2 hours to have the same experience again. Good luck to you or hopefully you already had/ have a better experience.

The exterior is misleading & easy to pass by if you're not in the know - don't let it fool you! Breakfast is only served on weekends between 8 AM & 1 PM & we just happened to be there. Service was extra warm & welcoming - we had our pup with us & it was a not so great weekend weather wise & while we offered to order & sit outside at a table as to not disrupt other diners, they managed to put us in their back room so no one had to eat out in the cold (Pepper can't write her own review, but she says thank you, two paws up!) While the menu is small, one item is better than the next & you can't go wrong no matter what you choose! Prices are reasonable for everything you get & in today's economy, it's a rare find! The apple pancakes were to die for & honestly, the biggest pancakes I've ever seen! Fresh biscuits with maple butter (YUM!) Don't pass up on the extra creamy & delicious chocolate milk!
