I was looking for new sushi place to try and I wanted variety so I figure I give this place a try. Read some good reviews about this place so I said why not. Three different level of price. Basic sushi and sashimi. I opted for regular sushi which was $33.95 per person.. Sashimi was around $11 more and had little more option of sushi you can order. But if it's more than one person both have to order same option. Nice variety of appetizer and salad to choose from and nice selections of sushi. I have to say the quality of food was over all best from other A.Y.C.E. Sushi. But just like the other all you can eat sushi, stay away from rolls. They are huge and it will fill you up quick. Good thing I only ordered one. Miso soup was nice and hot. Sushi quality was pretty darn good. I was full and I didn't even touch 30% of the choices on the menu. Best AYCE sushi I've had in the valley so far! I don't do AYCE that often cause I end up eating way too much, but next time I'm craving some delicious sushi and appetizers I will come back here for sure. We went to Crazy Tuna for a friend's birthday with a couple of our other friends who are regulars here, so they gave us the run down. Things to expect (that you may find not ideal) is that all people at the table have to order the same level of AYCE. That way the staff can just bring all the items to the table for everyone to share and not have to worry about people sharing the sashimi, if they didn't pay for it. You get the idea. It is somewhat annoying but I get it, and what that means is you need to make sure everyone is on the same page when dining here together. Another tip, if you buy the highest level of quality it's probably not a good idea to fill up on the cheaper, rice heavy items. Our friends wanted to do the sashimi lover level at $45/ person. Again, it was a birthday dinner so I was up for it. With that level, you can order from a long list of appetizers, sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi. It was all very tasty and fresh (we just came back from Japan last month so having good quality Japanese food is a good thing to find in land locked AZ). The fried soft shell crab was so yummy! The sashimi was fresh and cold, the apps were fantastic! I loved it. I felt too full though, so next time I will be more strategic with my choices. read more

I don't typically write reviews, but my experience here on December 6th compelled me to share. A friend and I visited for the first time and immediately felt uncomfortable. The staff came across as standoffish and, at times, appeared to actively avoid us. We were the only Black patrons in the restaurant, and the contrast in how we were treated compared to other guests was noticeable. We would look around for service just to have staff obviously avoid eye contact for a simple drink service. Later in the meal, another Black friend joined us, and the experience continued to decline, which they immediately noticed the uncomfortable energy emitted by the staff. The only positive aspect was our server, who seemed to go out of his way to counterbalance the unwelcoming atmosphere created by others. The food itself was excellent, which makes this even more disappointing. The worst AYCE I have ever had. For the sushi, the rice is about two full fingers thick and it is way bigger than the fish portion. The lighting is very dim at the restaurant and it makes the ordering petty challenging for people like me, over 50. Due to the lighting, the waiter can't see us when we need thing. I can't believe that they even add a slice of avocado on every piece of fish carpaccio. It can make your stomach full more faster. This is not how AYCE should work and they are very expensive for the quality we have on that Sunday night, 3.29.2026. This business model cannot go far. Not recommend at all. read more

Just absolutely love this place. I love sushi and have it so many times and this hands down has the best sushi I've had. My favorite roll is the Salmon Delight. We go here at least once every other month. Sometimes the service is just good (lots of empty drinks at the table or waiting a long time between rounds/getting the check) and not great. But I really can't complain because it's never been horrible. The food far outweighs any issues we have had. We love the loyalty cards they added. Because we seriously go that often. I have been to a bunch of all you can eat sushi restaurants and, at best, you get average or slightly above average type of sushi. Not this one! The reviews are true and this is probably one of the best AYCE places I have ever eaten at, if not the best ever! The quality is simply amazing, generous pieces of fish without being overloaded with rice. For a few dollars extra you can opt for sashimi AYCE which I totally recommend IF YOU ARE HUNGRY! I am more of a nigiri type of guy vs rolls; if you like rolls, they have so many, you will get filled up very quickly since each roll is not only huge but has 8-10 pieces! I really wanted to like this place. It's nice inside, has a great selection, and the staff were so nice. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and an avocado roll. The spicy tuna roll looked great, but was so sweet I couldn't eat it. At first I thought it was the rice, but I tasted the rice and tuna separately, and it's the spicy tuna. No amount of wasabi could cover the sugar in this tuna. Avocado roll was fine. I'm not sure why everywhere around here does avocado rolls like this. It's so messy and heavy on the rice. What a waste of 40$ the appetizers were not that great the veggie tempura was still hard and undercooked veggies, spicy edamame is just Sriracha which is gross. Good ayce sushi spot! They sadly don't take reservations but we were able to get seated in 15 min on a busy Thursday night. Service was pretty efficient and our food came out pretty fast, I was thoroughly surprised! My favorite was the cajan salmon nigiri..as u can see we ordered a lot of nigiris. We did not order a lot of rolls but the one that we kept reordering was the El Diablo roll. AYCE sushi with three different options. We decided to go with the Sashimi option which allowed us to order everything from the menu. We made it on time for Happy Hour (4-6PM). Menu includes soups, speciality rolls, baked rolls, nigiri, carpaccio, sashimi, and even rice less rolls. We were greeted right when we entered and the staff was kind enough to explain how everything worked. We went on a weekday during happy hour so it wasn't packed inside. Crazy is correct as in..... CRAZY DELICIOUS! I was craving some AYCE (All You Can Eat) sushi and my girlfriend recommended me to try this spot. It is safe to say that I had a very pleasant experience here and would definitely be back. We walked in and were immediately greeted by one of the workers, David. I must add that David made my 1st-time experience very unforgettable. Throughout the whole lunch he was very attentive, kind, and professional. He was able to answer my questions about the menu and gave some popular recommendations. He was a very fun server and despite getting busy answering phone calls and checking other customers at the front he still made time to make sure we were okay. Truly appreciative of the service we were provided. This AYCE sushi restaurant is broken down into groups. The more expensive the group is, then the more options you can have. We opted for the most expensive option "Sashimi Lover" at $40.95/person. This is indeed very pricey, but for the options included, I would say it's worth it. Three rounds and can order till your heart's content. Everything was very delicious and fresh. No fishiness or foul odor and the variety was immense. From appetizers, nigiri, sashimi, and sushi rolls there were so many options it is impossible to try everything! The one downside I would say is they put quite a bit of rice in the rolls causing us to fill up a bit faster than usual. The setting is welcoming and plenty of seating to accommodate parties. The service, quality, taste, and atmosphere were spot on! Although I wish there was eel and maybe more scallops, most of what was on the menu was fantastic and fresh. They have yelp wait-list and checking in ahead of time was a great way to save some time. The staff are very kind and prompt. We took our time ordering and figuring out how the system worked. I went to wash up and by the time I got back we had everything ready at our table. I love the nigiris most, it's simple and allows the fish to shine through. The quinoa was a different addition but was not unwelcome. I really liked the Cajun items on the menu except I must have got unlucky and one of the seared tunas I got was extremely smokey and gassy the second time ordered. Then restaurant itself is very open and laid out--seeing the chefs at work is always a treat. The bathroom was clean and spacious. I really want to give this restaurant a better review because I had such high expectations but it really fell short of all of that. The sushi was good, I don't think anything really BLEW me or my husband away. The presentation of the rolls was probably the best part, but I hate to say I've had better all you can eat sushi. They do charge you for any uneaten rolls or sushi which I think I would have been okay with if we were explained the menu a little better. It took almost an hour to be seated when there were visibly tables that were open but the efficiency of the staff was off. Instead of clearing off tables it seemed as though most of them were rushing off bringing orders to tables. Once we got seated it took forever for a waiter to come to our table. Our water was warm. And then when we did finally get a waiter it was hard to understand what he was saying when explaining the way the AYCE sushi worked. They rewrote the rules on the paper so it was just all over the place. As much running around the waiting staff was doing it was just impossible to get someone to even stop by the table. He took me to a table, I then requested for a booth seat and he moved with with ease. Seems like the quality has lowered a bit since the last we went. My husband LOVES this place as he likes to get good value for large portions, so we'll definitely be back. Happy hour pricing even when we came in after 5pm which was nice. We ended up eating about $113 worth of food (if we ordered a la carte) vs getting AYCE which ended up being about $26/pp. Portions of rice to fish ratio differed by sushi chef we noticed. Some nigiri had a small ball of rice which was perfect but others had a huge ball of rice! If you want your money's worth, you know that sushi with a ton of rice is no good because it fills you up faster. Sushi rolls are also huge, tons of rice and 8 pieces of sushi which is very filling. Wow! Amazing sushi here. Many options to choose from here, including sashimi, nigiri, and hot foods as well. We did the all-you-can-eat combination with sashimi. It's a lot of food and we couldn't really eat that much sashimi to begin with.
