This is definitely the best ice cream joint I've ever been to. It's a bit in the high side but definitely worth it.

Cool, smoke from the liquid nitrogen...Is it gonna make the ice cream not melt as quick? is it gonna somehow make ice cream taste better? nope...that's all it is...an expensive cloud of smoke is what you're paying for. The ice cream here is very heavy and milky tasting. My niece and I got the cookies and cream as well as the strawberry. Cookies and cream was good with it's big chunks of cookie pieces. The strawberry tastes kind of like those mexican ice cream bars, without large chucks of strawberry. I got sick of the strawberry quick and we both didn't like it/nor did we want to finish it. But if I paid $6 for a single scoop of ice cream (no toppings added btw. those are an extra $1 per topping in case you wanted to know), you bet your butt imma eat it all, regardless. The best Ice Cream. I have been here twice. First time had a mango sorbet the second time hazelnut ice cream. Having tired both stick with the ice cream. it is out of this world. a group of my friends & I came here after a battle of the bands at guitar center. the line was out the door, & I had heard good things from friends about creamistry. when we finally got to the counter, I got a tiramisu shake & my boyfriend got some sort of ice cream sandwich. the ice cream was alright, but if I'm spending 8 dollars (seriously) on a milkshake, it better come to my house, clean the floor, and make my bed. his ice cream sandwich was also good, but again, super overpriced. overall, seeing the ice cream made out of a kitchen aid & nitrogen is pretty cool, but I won't be coming by often. definitely a one time thing. read more

The ice cream is usually good but tonight I ordered chocolate ice cream with brownies and the brownie pieces were very old and hard like rocks. I could not bite through it at all. I got a second opinion from a family member and it was pretty bad. Serving old food is wrong and could get somebody sick. The brownies should be replaced pretty frequently. The ice cream is amazingly delicious! The location how ever was a disaster. Starting from the handle bars on the doors they were very sticky.. Walking in their were napkins on the floor everywhere and spilled water. All of the tables were dirty we had to go outside to eat. Looking at the mess it made me look at their work station and it also was very unorganized and dirty. Ice cream spots all over the counters and topping pieces everywhere. It was a disaster! I had to justify the place to my friends and husband that the ice cream was amazing but they too were very disappointed at the location. I hope this was just a one time experience. Too expensive...I guess people are in love with the customization and all of the flavors. I can't remember exactly how much I paid but I remember thinking that I should've just saved my money for a la minute and have some left over. I only got the green tea and the flavor was really delicious but the texture was meh, not as good as how a la minute prepares its liquid nitrogen ice cream. Is it pricey? YES But is it worth it to try at least once? ABSOLUTELY This ice cream is hands down the smoothest consistency you'll ever eat. It's super smooth, creamy and stays very cold. You know what's worse than freezer burnt ice cream? Ice cream that melts so fast you end up with some ice cream soup. You get what you pay for and I think the quality really speaks for itself. If they could somehow make this a little cheaper, I'd gladly choose this over Coldstone. But alas, I reserve this place for taking out of town family and friends...and then mooching a few spoonfuls off their selection. It's okay. I think it's pretty pricey for ice cream though. I did enjoy the 2 dairy bases (had signature with strawberry and organic with hazelnut). They really made the ice cream very creamy and enjoyable. I would not recommend getting the coconut base. The only time I would say to go for coconut is if you're lactose-intolerant, but otherwise stay away. Even if the flavor suggests the coconut base don't do it. All of my friends, and including myself, that got the coconut base did not enjoy our dessert (especially with pistachio and the reese's flavor). We could not even force ourselves to finish half of our single scoops. I would recommend trying it at least once just for the nitrogen ice cream experience. I probably will not go out of my way to go to Creamistry in the future due to the price. read more

This place is as liquid nitrogen to make the rice in his artwork as you can see them make it right in front of your face. They use Strauss cream which is a high-quality creams for their base to make their ice cream. However you are paying a lot of money to get a mediocre quality ice cream. While the ice cream is good it is not worth the price. I would not recommend going here. read more

The Ice cream is good but nothing spectacular. It is expensive! Spent $10 for a medium cup of vanilla ice cream w/brownie bites. The brownie bites were so hard I thought my teeth were going to fall off. Get the brownie bites on top of the ice cream instead because I think mixing it freezes it. Been here several times. The concept is cool and the quality of the ice cream is definitely better and richer than let's say coldstone. The cashier is usually friendly and helpful. Prices are expensive but if you feel like splurging then this is the place to go. If you add extra toppings, thats where the price starts rising. I was in the area because my brother & his friends were celebrating one of their friends birthday at Gen and decided to grab dessert at Creamistry. I arrived at Creamistry excited to the place because I didn't know what to expect. Once I walked in they were in the process of freezing ice cream and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. When I did arrive I bumped into my brothers friends which I also knew, and tried each of their ice cream. My favorite had to the matcha ice cream & pineapple sorbet with mochi. Both were enjoyable. After trying some of their ice cream, left the place and hung out with my dad till my brother and his friends were done eating. Then after eating with my dad and once my brother left his friends and found us, we walked back to Creamistry and got the matcha green tea with mochi. It's still a fave. I thought this place was pretty neat because they used nitrogen at that moment to free your ice cream. I thought that was the coolest thing ever because once you grabbed your ice cream it wasn't on the verge of melting yet. It was still rock hard and not easy to scoop out which is good because icre cream soupy would be disgusting and gross.
