As you can see the *large* fits in my hand.

I ordered a large and received a cup that fit in my hand. I have been to this store several times and my med was larger then what I got via door dash. If this is the way the customers get cheated than no thanks, I will not be going back and my family will not be returning either.

Always the best ice cream and staff is very friendly! We come here almost once a week and bring friends often!

My fiancé & I have been to Creamistry multiple times! It is a bit of a drive for us, but their Nitrogen ice cream is delicious. My personal favorite is the ele-mint ice cream with a coconut base. They offer a selection of flavors, three milk bases (premium/milk, coconut, or cashew), and several topping options. The staff prepares the ice cream in their "show" mixers where they pipe in the liquid Nitrogen to freeze the ice cream! It is a cute little business that adds to the atmosphere of downtown Gilbert.

In my previous review, it should have said liquid nitrogen, not liquors nitrogen. Great ice cream! See my previous review.

I ordered the quantum coffee ice cream. Really good ice cream, not too sweet, and lots of coffee flavor stuff. The place is not too busy but still has dirty tables.

Have been here several times and the creations are always delicious! My fav is the Affogato! Tonight they were out so I settled for a cup of Cookie Butter and it was delicious! Great for after dinner dessert!

Creamistry in downtown Gilbert just looks SO cool from the outside. I don't know if it was the super clean look or the MASSIVE nitrogen tank that drew us inside, but it worked! My bf and I were immediately greeted when we walked into Creamistry. We had never been here before so we needed some time to look at the menu. You pick a base (dairy, vegan, or water-based for sorbets), flavor, and toppings/upgrades. There are almost too many choices! Though, they do have some set menu items if you would prefer to pick out some. I went with a vegan-based, mint-flavored, chocolate fudge-sauced ice cream. It was really fun watching it be iced down in the big mixing containers. My bf got a dairy-based, Sea Salt Caramel-flavored ice cream, with Strawberry Sundae sauce. He enjoyed his! The vegan-based is not your normal scooped, soft serve, or rolled textured ice cream. It has a super-rich mouth feel and is, I would say, in between traditional texture and soft serve. I found it slightly weird but the mint flavor was great! My bf said his was normal texture and he loved it! I know my bf felt the same way. It was fun to try and most kiddos who came in after us seemed to really love the ice cream. Definitely, a fun place to bring the family/children to watch the nitrogen do its thing. 8/10 recommend

Scoop, scoop, hooray! I'm the 400th review for this business on Yelp…read more Since trying Handel's at previous Yelp events, I've had on my radar to try at one of their locations. Especially since my boyfriend loves ice cream. Today we made a lunch date when he was visiting town, complete with ice cream to cool us down on this warm July day in Arizona. We opted to eat in my car with air conditioning, though they have bench seating outside. In cooler months, I'm sure that seating is nice to sit at to enjoy your treat. What We Ordered: - Monkey Business scoop in a dipped waffle bowl: My boyfriend throughly enjoyed and said it was very banana forward; which is a plus for him. I personally hate banana, so he had something for once that I didn't take a girlfriend bite out of. - S'mores scoop in a dipped waffle bowl: Very interesting to have the base be graham cracker, but I really enjoyed. Love the little chocolate bits to add a crunch as you eat, though the mini marshmallows have a weird texture to me. Still a solid scoop, and I'll try other flavors when we return. Definitely looking forward to the location opening on Signal Butte, but glad we didn't wait until that opened to try. Delicious and I'm sure I'll visit the new location opening by my house.

First, the location itself is very small and cramped inside, and there isn't any outdoor seating, which made it difficult to enjoy our ice cream. The biggest disappointment here was the customer service. My friend ordered a milkshake for her two toddlers to share and politely asked if the extra half could be poured into a second cup. The employee had to ask the manager, who immediately said no. My friend explained that other Handel's locations have happily done this before, and even offered to pay for the extra cup. The manager still refused and told her she'd have to purchase two separate milkshakes instead. The request wasn't for extra product--just a second cup for two small children to share. What made the experience worse was the manager's attitude. She came across as rude and dismissive rather than trying to help find a reasonable solution. We understand that every location has its own policies, but customer service goes a long way. Unfortunately, between the cramped space and the poor experience with the manager, we won't be returning to this location.

A Nostalgic, Must-Visit Dessert Destination in Old Town Scottsdale…read more Our party of six visited the Sugar Bowl for dessert following a friend's birthday dinner. Upon our arrival, we were accommodated immediately and seated without any delay. The parlor features a wonderful, nostalgic aesthetic reminiscent of the late 1900s. Its menu is remarkably expansive, offering an impressive variety of options that goes well beyond what one might typically expect from a traditional dessert establishment. The service we received was patient and polite. While one of our table's orders was initially overlooked, the staff corrected the mistake instantly as soon as we brought it to our server's attention. As the name implies, the menu leans heavily into decadent, sweet treats; those looking for lighter or tart options like yogurt variations will find limited choices, but the indulgent selections are perfect for traditional dessert lovers. The surrounding neighborhood adds significantly to the appeal, offering an excellent Old Town atmosphere filled with art galleries, historic shops, and artifacts. If you are visiting the nearby Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA), enjoying dinner in the area, or simply taking an evening walk, I highly recommend stopping by the Sugar Bowl for its unique historical charm and experience.

I considered several options in Phoenix area to review, but I decided to go with the iconic Sugar Bowl in Old Town Scottsdale. It's been in business since the 1950's and has been a staple for 7 decades in Old Town. The inside is 1890's decor of pink & white wallpaper/decor like an old fashioned ice cream parlor. They have a bar area and standard seating. I remember I first went here when I was in high school in late 90's/early 2000's. Ice cream was always top notch. I used to get the Buster Brownie, which was this big brownie sundae with vanilla ice cream, goeey marshmallow topping, whipped cream, & cherry on top. It was awesome! I loved that way back then. I got lunch there once or twice; pretty good sandwiches, but the real highlight is the ice cream. My most recent visit was in Jan. 2022 with my dad. We decided to pop in for ice cream. It was as delicious as I remembered.
