Took 25+ minutes from start of order until we started eating it, and incredibly expensive for pretty average product. The ice cream sandwich we got, which was around $8 was literally 2 blah brownies with a small amount of eh ice cream in the middle- could easily be outdone at home. Our kids had a few different flavors in small dishes. When our one child wanted ice cream in a cone, we were told, "I don't know what you are talking about" (3 more times the same as we tried to explain it). Come on! I have never had a worse experience. After waiting 30 minutes the "not the manager" apologized and said it's a whole new crew. Another 15 minutes goes by with no ice cream in sight. My fam and I had been wanting to try this place out and we are so glad we finally came in! The staff is great and super patient with the kiddos. Although the icecream was nice, the sizes were not as advertised. We got 2 regulars and a medium and all were consistently not to the rim of the cups. We are convinced that the medium had the same amount as the regular, despite the cup size difference. Also, ruby cacao came with only 4 berries. read more

I am lactose intolerant, so when I learned that they have a coconut cream base, I did not hesitate to try them. The girl at the counter was very friendly and helpful, and even gave us suggestions for the ice cream mix we were ordering. We both ordered a regular with waffle bowl upgrade, wich was so fresh!! The order was made fairly quickly and it was so creamy and delicious! One thing I found hard (which is not a bad thing) is that there are SO many choices. But that gives me a chance to go back and try other flavors and combinations. The place was clean and organized, and again, service was friendly. Parking was a little challenging as Downtown Gilbert is very busy, but we found one eventually. I highly recommend Creamistry! :) read more

I've visited the Scottsdale location and was very impressed by the ice cream (delicious and so creamy). The Gilbert locations ice cream does not disappoint but lack of space in this Creamistry was disappointing. People could barely wait in line without hitting the patrons sitting down and eating their ice cream. With a prime location like downtown Gilbert the space wasn't thought out correctly. One way to cut down on the wait would be to make papers that you fill out with your toppings so once you get up to the front of the line you can hand it to the person behind the register. It was so loud in the building that the cashier couldn't hear a word people were saying which greatly slowed down the pace. Another way to create a little less chaos would have been to put up bar seating against the wall rather than tables and chairs that get moved around. Once you order your ice cream creation you realize there is absolutely no place to wait for said ice cream... all in all the ice cream is great but when you pair that with the annoying set up of the restaurant it takes away from what could be a wonderful experience. Slowest service ever. Waited over an hour. It literally took over 15 minutes per person to make an order. People were coming in asking about mobile orders placed an hour ago and the employees didn't know anything about it....45 minutes later they realized they had already made it and it had been sitting in the freezer. Julie was amazing today!! I seriously could not believe our ice cream experience. This was the first time here for my sister, my daughter, and I. I had been having a sad week this last week and this made my day! Julie explained how the process worked and helped us out a lot to get what we wanted. The wait wasn't long either. The best part was my daughter learned about the nitrogen process. Julie did some science experiments for us and my daughter. My daughter loves science so this was a really great experience. Unfortunately, the ice cream is wonderful but the service is terrible. I've ordered several times from here and about 50% of the time they get the order right. When they get it wrong they do little to remedy the situation. I ordered a large and they made a small and refused to remake the ice cream, so I settled for a refund. The refund was $3 short so I had to prove it to the manager who very unwilling tossed $4 at me. Change your employees, culture, and standards and you can have the 3 stars I shorted you. read more
