Such a cute little cakery! I placed an online order and despite being early to pick-up my order was ready right away! Customer service was great, the staff was really kind and made sure to let me know about a promo happening that day so I was able to redeem a free item - how cool! And also let me know about the rest of the month's promos as well. Parking is pretty easy, there is a shared lot with other business, but there were a couple spots open when I came. The items tasted fresh and well made. I got a 7 layer bar, a peanut butter bar, and a seasonal small Bundt cake. I only personally tried both bars, and enjoyed both. I will definitely be back to try the other flavors of things they have.

Bundt cake, yum...personalized for special occasions for you. Great, bright, and cute store with customer service. We got several different type and they are very delicious.

Nice little store, with beautiful decorations and items to make your celebration a special one. The cakes were delicious! I got the confetti cake slices and also a Vegan chocolate chip (not pictured) which was amazing! The service was fast and the lady that helped us was kind and friendly. I only wish they had tables outside or benches to enjoy onsite. I'll most definitely be back to try all their other vegan options.

We came to Creative Cakery to get a small, personal-sized Bundt cake for my mom--something simple yet special. We were able to choose from a great selection of flavors and went with the carrot cake topped with their signature cream cheese frosting. The cake was incredibly moist, and the frosting was just the right balance of sweet and creamy. Together, the flavors were perfect. What's nice is you can even personalize the cake with a name for a small extra fee, which adds a thoughtful touch. We've been longtime customers of Creative Cakery, visiting other locations over the years, and have been coming to this one since it first opened. As long as they keep baking cakes this good, we'll definitely keep coming back!

Received these cupcakes as a gift from my colleagues and they were fantastic! My favorite one was the choc choc chip flavor! However, the frosting stole the show for every flavor, compliments to the baker!! I was told the shop was so kind as to include a celebration balloon to the order, which is very sweet!

Okay, so this bakery is going neck to neck with nothing but bundt cakes. It's a cute little shop in Long Beach. I was searching for a last-minute cake for my boyfriend and found this bakery. I ordered my cake online the night before and was able to customize my banner, and color for next day pick up. I love the fact that they stay open until 7 pm, I believe. The whole bakery is basically a small party supply store. Great grabs for last-minute get-togethers. Nevertheless, the cake was pretty good, perfect size for a small gathering, and we still had plenty more left. Service was great the young lady made sure spelling was correct she was sweet.

    Dodger cake!!

Really disappointed... The cake was nice. It was really really cute, but the frosting recipe has changed significantly. It used to be where you could just eat it plain because it was so good. Now it's all gritty with sugar. They've changed something with the ratio of cream cheese versus powdered sugar I guess. I'm not really sure. But then also there was the issue of buying it online buying it in person. And that lost me out points for a $65 purchase. Which pretty much sucked. I can't believe they can't merge the two systems. My dad still thought it looked pretty great.

First time trying this location. The cupcakes are delicious but I feel they should be called mini cupcakes. Too much frosting thats almost the size of the cupcake. The cookies are delicious as well. Although you provide beautiful decor and delicious dessert I will have to go with another company that is about the same price, quality and you get more. Just because I'm not satisfied with quantity, clearly with all the reviews some customer are okay with it. I still think you should try them as this might work for you as the are clean, professional, and friendly.

OMG I had a last minute birthday. I had to get an order out the same day and they did it. Customer service over the phone was excellent They were patient. Both lady's were professional. They got the job done. This is for a special person my BFF and she was so happy .

Why have Holey Grail Donuts when you can have Frosted Cupcakery instead?!…read more Okay, that might be quite the low blow considering that Holey Grail Donuts recently closed for good here in Long Beach, but Frosted Cupcakery seems to have withstood the test of time for ~20 years. Possibly a testament to how good their cupcakes really are?! So I had a Fivestars reward for a free cupcake from Frosted Cupcakery, and since I was planning an afternoon getaway by the beach, I wanted to stop by to claim my free cupcake before expiry. Frosted Cupcakery is located in Belmont Shore two doors east of where Holey Grail Donuts used to be. If you're still not sure where that is, it's on 2nd St about a couple blocks east of the intersection with Livingston. They had a bunch of different flavors to choose from, but the Royal White Cookie Butter cupcake piqued my interest since it sounded like a winning combo that was hard to beat. I asked the employee to describe what it was, and once she said the words "Biscoff cookie", I was immediately sold! They had plenty of that flavor's cupcakes in stock, which kind of led me to believe it wasn't a popular flavor, but I still went with my gut instinct. The employee grabbed a Royal White Cookie Butter cupcake from the display case, placed said cupcake in a white paper bag, added a Frosted Cupcakery sticker on top, and handed it to me while wishing me a good day. I did ask her how long the cupcakes would last in the fridge, and she went to the back to ask a supervisor, giving me more time to peruse the available flavors shown in the display case. She came back shortly later to inform me that the cupcakes should remain good for about 2 to 3 days on the counter. On the way out, I also grabbed a Frosted Cupcakery card, which contains the contact info for the shop as well as the list of cupcake flavors, some of which are seasonal, gluten-free, or even vegan! The card also mentions that the cupcakes are handcrafted, likely with love. I spent a couple more hours chilling by the beach before going home to finally enjoy my cupcake. I noticed there was an unusually large see-through (grease?) spot on the side of the bag, which almost made me think it wasn't a cupcake inside the bag. When I took out the Royal White Cookie Butter cupcake from the bag, I noticed a divider between the frosting and the wrapper, which I thought was a nice touch to separate the two entities of the cupcake. However, I struggled a bit with removing the divider before taking my first bite, which was superb! The buttercream and cookie butter crumbles on top did make for a winning combo, and I wish the flavor could have been prevalent below the divider as well. However, even that flavor seemed to have dissipated after the first bite akin to an exponential decay. They have a few tables inside where you can enjoy your cupcakes with friends. However, take note of the fact that they only allow a maximum of 2 dozen cupcakes for walk-in customers; this is denoted by a sign on the display case. If you want more than 2 dozen, you'd have to place a special order, likely online, but I'm sure over the phone would work as well. Parking? Well, certainly not the easiest as it's in Belmont Shore. While there is a small parking lot directly behind the cupcake shop, I believe it's either paid parking or reserved for other businesses like Philz Coffee or F&M Bank. I had to find a spot on Livingston and walk over, which wasn't too far of a walk, but could be worse on the weekends. Overall, I liked the complimentary cupcake that I got courtesy of Fivestars, but I didn't think it was *that* good to warrant the 5th star from me. I do agree it's a great spot to order cupcakes from, especially if you're planning a day at the nearby beach!

Nonna has become our go to bakery, our sweet retreat, and one of our favorite local brunch spots. Now, they even have happy hour and, during the summer, dinner (Nonna Summer Nights)! And all of the food is amazing. Seriously, truly legit! We buy bread from there each week. No more "big box store" bread you freeze. They make their bread fresh daily. They only use fresh, locally sourced ingredients with no preservatives. It's nice to look at an ingredient list and not see a paragraph for bread (and be able to pronounce all the names!). And their cupcakes and sweets. Yo, seriously so good. And the thing is, because of the ingredients they use, we don't feel heavy or overly wired after eating cake or cupcakes from them. From other places you can tell they use preservatives, refined sugars, processed ingredients. But with Nonna, you can just taste the difference. We even had them make our special cake for our wedding! We recently tried their dinner (twice!) and it exceeded expectations. Now, mind you, all of their food has always been good but our experience was amazing. Their prix fixe menu was well put together, wine pairings on point, dessert was also delicious. Our favorite was the tiramisu! Also loved the spaghattini and casarecce pastas, and entrecôte di manzo, but everything was great. Their brunch is also great, you really can't go wrong on the menu. And I think we've gone through almost all of it! Finally, (if you've stayed with me this long!) the absolute best thing about Nonna for us is the TEAM. Hands down no question. The food is good, space is a comfortable neighborhood vibe, and all that. But truly the folks here are amazing humans. Always friendly, warm, and welcoming. If the management team is reading this, you all have a great group of people there! We will definitely be back (again and again and again) and you should too!

My qualm about Nonna's is this: Baked goods already purchased cannot be eaten at dining table. So with that said, you're eating Baked Eggs with 2 small slices of bread that is not enough...and they will not let you grab a piece of bread you just bought at their bakery to dip into the egg sauce. WTH is that logic???? Honestly, not cool. And their bread is HELLA EXPENSIVE. If I'm going to buy your expensive bread and pay to sit at your table, WHY CANT I EAT THE BREAD I JUST BOUGHT? Makes no sense!! So now I make my own Baked Eggs and my own bread. I can eat as much as I want. 4/5 for Baked Eggs 1/5 for their bakery policy

I personally wouldn't order again. Chocolate chip cookie - very good cookie. The right amount of chocolate chips and it was really soft which I enjoy my cookies soft. I would order another. I would definitely order another slice. The Cinnamon roll - this was my favorite thing we ordered. This cinnamon roll was to die for! Pillowy soft and the right amount of sweetness. The roll was so good with the nuts alone that I didn't even need or use the icing we asked for on the side. This was such a delight.

I walked there from my house so thankfully did not have to worry about parking. I felt completely comfortable from the moment I sat down. The atmosphere is warm and casual, there was live music and a lively group of people on the covered outdoor backyard. My server was lovely as well, attentive, but never felt rushed. Everything I ordered was delicious and perfectly paced. I started with the fried artichokes which I had never had before, but I love artichokes thanks to my Italian grandmother. So light and crispy. Then I had the caprese, what a stunning salad this is! The avocado was a bit random to me as I have never seen one with a caprese before and it was hard as a rock, but still ate the whole thing. I ordered the pasta alla routa Cacio E Pepe which I did not realize was $65 upon the time of ordering, but that's on me for not looking that closely. They told me ahead of time when it was coming out so I could video it being made inside the cheese wheel if I wanted since they couldn't come to me being that the backyard is covered in rocks. Thought this was nice since I paid so much for it, may as well be able to share the experience with others. I enjoyed two glasses of sangria with my dinner and finished with some pistachio gelato. All in all a great experience, I just wish the pasta was like $20 cheaper but lesson learned. I don't know that I would come here often since I spent $190 on dinner for myself, but I would come back for date night, or an anniversary, or a special occasion, and have already recommended since going.

Will definitely ask them to make my son's first cake and try them out. Cheers!

The owner said he's reaching out to Yelp to get the incorrect gluten free listing removed, which it seems has been done. With that in mind I updated my review from 1 to 3. While I appreciate that the misunderstanding may have been caused by Yelp, the customer service (when in the restaurant) could have been more respectful and not dismissive/judging. The yelp page says they have gluten free options but that isn't the case. They had no gluten free options and the employee working acted as though the question of gluten free options was ridiculous. We pointed out that the yelp page says they have gluten free and asked if that's charged, but they rudely responded and said they don't pay attention to yelp. Maybe they should pay attention.
