I came here with my sister because of the good reviews, but when I got my food I was really disappointed. The eggs are dry, there's no seasoning. Whoever made this has no taste buds, I make better eggs every day without even trying. It's not worth the money, I don't see the difference between this and Waffle House. A Local Secret - definitely a Mom n' Pop shop but has the best breakfast in Raleigh. The staff is always helpful and breakfast always comes out hot. Make sure to always finish your plate or you may get some light ribbing from the lovely owner! The food was ok I suppose , but the service was subpar. It wasn't the waitress. It was the older woman who was the owner of the facility first, she did not bring me my soup with the meal, which I asked for then she added sausages onto the plate and charged us for them, even after the waitress told them that we did not ordered the sausages and not to charge us for them and did not ring it up on the receipt. She rang it up on the receipt and charged us. Then when we asked her to take it off and if we could take the sausage home for our dog, she said, do you want to pay for the sausage and take it home or do you want us to take the sausage and take it off we asked that she was just gonna throw it out and she said yes do you want to pay for it or not, I would not come back to this restaurant. The owner is a greedy, not nice trickster who tries to overcharge for food that can be gotten at any other café. Really owner is an old greedy lady. On top of that, the restaurant had an odd smell to it. The seats were torn up and just needed revamping again all to do with the owner. read more

We love Creedmoor Café. We went this morning for breakfast and everything was delicious. I love their omelettes and their French toast is to die for. The wait staff are always extremely kind and efficient. They are very attentive. Their lunches are wonderful. I love their burgers, and their sandwiches. If you've never had their soups you need to try them. Their soups are all homemade and delicious. You will not be disappointed eating here. Great place to go for a quiet meal. Hubby had Eggs Benedict, and said the eggs were cooked perfectly. The hollandaise sauce was good, but he likes his recipe better. If I could give this place zero stars I would. As soon as well walked in the lady behind the counter looked at us and walked away. The soda tasted kinda flat and diluted and the food was kinda pitiful. The plates were huge but there wasn't enough food on the plate to fill it up properly for the price your paying. My husband got the chicken and waffles which we saw a picture of online. The image he saw showed a ton of chicken fingers on top of a nice waffle and while the waffle was okay he only got one and ahlf chicken fingers. We had to ask for refills and overall it was too pricey for what we got. I would also like to note that almost immediately after eating my husband and I both felt really sick to our stomachs. I'm so happy we have a diner nearby. Not a chain, just a good diner. There's another place nearby that I've had more bad experiences than good, (name withheld) so this is a welcome addition to the area. They took over the Greek Fiesta site and much the same setup remains. Plenty of seating, comfortable and bright and not loud / noisy at all (yeah!). My wife and I both had omelettes. Both were decent flavor but could have been a little bigger. The sides of potatoes could have been a little bigger. The coffee was flowing, though could have been a little stronger. This is one of those places that you'll still want to try because you will either like it and you will want to go back or you'll say it was okay but I don't see myself returning. Dislikes: tough onions used in onion rings and batter was too thick, bacon was a poor cut and a tiny portion used in club sandwiches, Ruben included only 3 slices of meat - omelette ingredients cost .75 cents each (not much included) and price can easily be driven up to $11.00. Likes: the staff and crispy French fries. Well, I would imagine if you get service here the food might be good according to other reviews. We were seated nearly immediately at 1:45 PM on Sunday, and started looking over the menu. The restaurant was moderately full, there were at least three servers in the place. We had made our decisions and as we looked around, it seemed like nobody really had their food outside of one bigger party. No less than ten minutes later, we still had not been greeted or asked what we'd like to drink. We got up to leave, and the lady up front said thank you and she hoped that we had a great day. Clueless. The heat time I tried to go was also in a Sunday but more around noon. It was busier than today, but before we had been greeted to ask how many were in our party, a customer stormed out and told the same lady that it was the worst experience he'd had at a restaurant, waited 40 minutes and no food. I've been wanting to check this place out for a while, but I'm usually only in the area on Mondays. I'd originally seen on their door that they're closed on Mondays, but I think they've decided to change that - even if it's only temporarily. So last Monday I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. I walked in and was immediately greeted. There were a few people that were seated in the dining area, but I was there for take out. Everyone was appropriately distanced. I ordered the Creedmoor Salad. It was fantastic! Everything was really fresh and colorful, and full of flavor. I'll definitely go back and try other things on their menu. Another thing I noticed - there were probably 6 or 8 people (not all together) that walked in while I was waiting, and they were all greeted by name. That tells me there's a regular crowd, which is always a good sign. Honestly, the only reason I knocked it down from 5 stars to 4 is because I wouldn't normally pay that much for a salad. But I understand the way restaurants and markets/locations work, so ultimately it's a necessity for the vendor to price at a certain point. read more

A great breakfast, brunch and lunch spot! I don't think I have ever been to a more welcoming restaurant. I brought my 2 and 5 year olds and the owner immediately brought them crayons and paper to color. She even came back a couple of times to chat and check in on myself and the kids which was so nice. The menu includes Belgian waffles, omelette, salads, etc. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes. The kids grilled cheeses were huge and very reasonably priced. This cafe has only been here about 4 months and is already a hot spot. There was a steady stream of people coming in the whole time we were there but there was never a wait and the atmosphere is very relaxing and has an open feel. It's right next to duck donuts so when you are done, you can go next door and grab a donut for dessert. We will be back often! read more

We came to the cafe based on the reviews of good food and atmosphere. It was... okay. The atmosphere was casual. They had a nice mural of Raleigh on the wall and the waitress was very nice. My husband and I both got omelettes and the kids got pancakes. My omelette wasn't great, it was overcooked and some of the hash browns weren't done and some were way overdone. The fillings in the omelette were cooked into the eggs and not folded in. The kids pancakes came out with whipped cream and sprinkles on top (the waitress asked if it was okay before hand, which was great). What a hidden gem for breakfast/brunch! Portions are perfect; not too much where you feel overly stuffed and need to take home leftovers. We ordered the big breakfast (French toast, eggs, and choice of meat), western omelette with breakfast potatoes, and choice of bread, & kid's grilled cheese with fries. Recently had breakfast here to test it out for ourselves, as this restaurant has good/bad ratings. It is a diner, really, which is great, very clean. We were greeted and seated promptly, and server waited on us quickly. The place was pretty crowded mid-morning on a Friday which was a good sign. Food served in a timely fashion, my pancakes were okay, but the bacon was over cooked, and it was the very thin sliced low quality. Kind of fried up into a ball. My friend got a breakfast sandwich, the ham was not fresh, it was lunch meat, the bread was thin and fell apart as he ate the sandwich. Home fries were tasty, unfortunately the coffee was poor. The waitress brought our check just a few minutes after we were served and said "no hurry". However, as we were talking, she came over 3 more times to ask if we were ready to pay. And there were open tables without customers waiting to be seated. So, overall not a good experience. Typically we try a new place 3 times to give it a fair opinion, but this place had enough negatives that we will not return.
