I think the pictures speaks for themselves. Floor cracks, is basically painted concrete, paint comes off if I put tape on it, or if any furniture has rubber feet, or if I have a mat with a rubber surface. We hired Creek Stone Resurfacing (Ryan Van Horn) in July 2023 to install nearly 2,000 square feet of flooring throughout our home remodel. Less than two years later, large portions of the floor have failed and continue to do so, despite his assurance that it would stabilize. The job was completed on July 31, 2023. We followed the move-in instructions we were given, including protecting the floor during furniture placement. By early September 2023, we noticed bubbling and texted Ryan. He initially suggested the problem was "efflorescence" in the concrete, but no testing or documented technical evaluation was provided to us at that time. From there, the situation worsened. We documented and reported: * a large bubble in the guest bedroom * a raised blister in another room that cracked * cracks and flaking in the living room * deterioration at expansion joints * additional failures under area rugs * new bubbling and spreading failure in other rooms over time After many attempts to get a response, Ryan eventually came out months later, but again attributed the failure to underlying concrete conditions rather than taking responsibility for the installation itself. What has been most frustrating is the pattern that followed. From the onset and over the past three years, any substantive response from Ryan came only after public reviews were posted, rather than through direct outreach alone. In later written communications, Ryan continued to say he believed the failures were caused by moisture, efflorescence, or movement in the concrete substrate, with no substantiating proof. At the same time, he offered repairs only as a "gesture of good faith" or "courtesy," not as a warranty obligation. He also stated that: - he wanted negative reviews removed as part of resolving the issue - he expected us to be responsible for removing furniture and replacement of baseboards - costs that would be much higher than the initial contract cost - the original warranty period would remain unchanged even after the repair (translation: he would not warranty his own repair!) In a later repair email, he outlined a plan to repair but still said the work was only a courtesy and again tied scheduling to removal of negative reviews. We remained open to a practical resolution and asked for a written evaluation and repair plan that addressed basic technical issues, including objective moisture testing, manufacturer-approved repair procedures, product confirmation, containment and dust-control planning, responsibility for moving furniture and replacing baseboards, temporary accommodations if needed, and whether any repaired work would carry a new written warranty. We have not received a sufficient response that gave us confidence the floor would be properly and durably fixed. At this point, our experience has been a long pattern of floor failure, delay, blame-shifting, and conditional repair offers rather than accountability. Based on what we experienced, I would not hire this company again and recommend that homeowners use our experience as a cautionary tale. read more

Like several reviews on here, I had a miserable and costly experience with Creek Stone Resurfacing. I hired them in 2024 to resurface my pool coping. As you can see from the pictures the job failed and the coping has bubbled and is now peeling off. I have hired another company to rectify the situation. I tried for several months to get Ryan on the phone but he would always have someone call me back. I was not interested in his incompetent team do any repairs, I just wanted some money back. Just had to write a review after our experience with Ryan and Casey at Creek Stone Resurfacing. Ryan replied right away and set an appointment to come out to provide a quote for the work for just a few days later. We have about 1000 sq ft of stamped concrete that had been stained once before ( by a local competitor that I'll leave nameless ) and looked absolutely terrible and also a concrete pool slide that goes up into our slope. After getting a few different quotes and listening to the process ( be sure you are comparing apples to apples with the work being proposed ) we chose Creek Stone for the work and are we glad we did. The end result blew us away. The concrete looks brand new is so much better looking than it was the first time around. The slide looks amazing as well and slippery as hell too. It was a booger of a job and had a few bubbling issues, but Casey has been awesome at coming right back out and taking care of it. In the end, the want you to be fully pleased with their work and that we definitely are. We'll definitely use them again. read more

Ryan and Jack did an excellent work resurrecting and resurfacing our concrete patio, pool deck and driveway. Prior to contracting Creekstone we asked for several quotes to restore our patio and we where told that we needed to remove all the concrete and replace with new concrete and/or pavers which we could not afford as the cost where astronomical! I was lucky enough to to ask Ryan at Creekstone to come and give me an honest opinion of the work he could perform to salvage my 4,500 sq FT concrete deck. My concrete was in bad shape (see before and after pics). He explained the process of removing the old stain and sealer using a water sand blasting process and the application of two layers of an urethane industrial sealer. The quotation was very fair for the size of the job. I decided to contract with them and Ryan and Jack both meticulously sandblasted the top concrete coat and applied a beautiful finish restoring it like new. Very professional service, attitude and work ethics. All in all a great experience. I fully recommend Creekstone for any concrete resurfacing needs. Messaged them for a quote on our concrete pool coping asking for an overlay job that the manufacture WESTCOAT said was appropriate for the job. They replied saying the best that could do was sand and seal and that the Stamp It overlay product was not good for vertical surfaces. I asked them for another recommendation and was ghosted. I have a lot of money to spend but leaving a potential customer hanging is not good business. Most contractors are all the same. The communication is only good when the money is flowing. Thank God we never gave them a cent. And by the way, WESTCOAT supports vertical work when installed correctly with the Stamp It product. Call them yourself. I initially spoke with Ryan over the phone and after agreement on a quote (I wanted the concrete slab on my patios (2) stained), we made an appointment for Ryan to come out and assess the project. He later text me and said they could begin my project within a couple of days. Ryan sent his crew to prepare the patios (including masking off the surrounding area). This also included removal of the patio furniture (furniture not heavy at all) and began power washing the concrete. After the patios were completely dry, Ryan and Thomas returned to begin staining the concrete. I told them the color I was looking for and showed pictures to give them an idea. They began the staining and kept me involved in the staining process to see if what they were doing was to my specification. They did and excellent job through the entire process. The finished outcome was better than what I pictured it to look like. A friend of mine came by and I showed it to her, she immediately requested Ryan's contact info to inquire about getting her patio done as well. As we were finishing up with the project, we somehow got on the subject of me being retired from the military. He asked me a few questions and then he said, "You didn't mention you were in the military. We give a discount to the military." Well, I was not aware of the military discount. He gave me the discount which was another added blessing and added icing on the cake because it reduced my final price of the entire project. Great job, Ryan and your crew!
