UPDATE 2026…read more Bluewater is our new favorite seafood restaurant. We went last Wednesday for HH and the bartenders are a fantastic team. They run a very professional bar. The service we received from them was next level. The kitchen did a great job too. I got the fish and chips with walleye. It was flaky goodness paired with crisp and salty fries. I washed it down with a couple smoked old fashoineds. We left with a satisfied smile.

The Spanish octopus was alright. The clam chowder was flavorful and not too salty; definitely made it into the top three clam chowders I've had in the state so far. For our main entrees we ordered the New England lobster roll and the gemelli pasta with shrimp and scallops. The lobster roll was flavorful but felt like it was missing something. The gemelli pasta tasted a bit bland for my taste buds, but the family member I went with really enjoyed it. Since we always have room for dessert, we ordered a crème brulee to share. The crème brulee was nice and not overly sweet. Overall, service was professional, knowledgeable, attentive, and the food arrived in a timely manner. The restaurant itself is quite spacious with nautical décor throughout which gives off a comfortable and relaxing vibe.

We originally came for the $2.50 oysters, and they absolutely lived up to the hype. While the oysters were the main attraction, the ceviche and yellowtail roll were just as impressive and made for a perfect spread to share. The happy hour cocktail menu is equally well done, with everything from refreshing spritzes to smoky mezcal drinks, all at great prices. It's the kind of menu where everyone in your group can find something they'll enjoy. Whether you're looking for an affordable happy hour, fresh seafood, or just a great place to unwind with friends, Buck & Rider delivers. Between the quality of the food, the drink specials, and the complimentary valet, it's easy to see why this spot is so popular. We'll definitely be back.

We were seated immediately after arriving and our waiter, Trevor, was right there to greet us. This was our first visit so Trevor took some time to talk about some menu items with us. We ordered and our food came out pretty quickly. I ordered crab cakes. They were the best I've ever had. They were crab meat, sauce in a panko crust. None of the mostly stuffing with some crab pieces thrown in. Delicious! They wet accompanied by the summer green beans and corn. This was served cold, like a salad with a light dressing and some shavings of Parmesan on top. Amazing! My wife doesn't like seafood, so she had a pasta dish. Buck & Rider was kind enough to replace the shrimp with chicken for her. We split a banana cream pie for dessert. Great graham cookie base, banana cream and then whipped cream on top. Sliced banana on the side of the dish and everything was sprinkled with chocolate shavings. Excellent! This was a great place to have lunch. We'll be back!
