Long drive to Michigan, drove out of my way for Yelp endorsed breakfast. Disappointing is the word. "Corned beef with hash breakfast special." 2 eggs, One small piece of toast served with Corn beef, straight out of a can.. didn't even separate the little slices. Just a small pile on top of hashbrowns. Disappointing breakfast. Very plain interior. Service was great.

    Turkey Roll, anyone?

This restaurant decided to offer one meal on Thanksgiving, and put zero effort into it. They should have actually advertised (or stated on menu) "Turkey Roll". Not only did it look disgusting but it tasted (yes I actually tasted a 1" square of it) like a salt soaked piece of, churned fake meat." The meal consisted of a choice of vegetable (few options), mashed potatoes, gravy and dressing and cranberry sauce. The dressing and potatoes were so thin they were best eaten with a spoon, certainly wouldn't stay on a fork. The potatoes contained some other type of fake meat which may have been a fake bacon, and were still flavor less. The 1 tablespoon of canned cranberry sauce was served in a bowl of its own (why bother?), and stirred to hide the fact that it was canned. It actually tasted like the can. I managed to eat the soupy potatoes and dressing and left. Did I complain on the spot, no! There was no reason to complain. This wasn't a kitchen error that could be corrected. They knew what they were serving. This isn't my first attempt at eating there. I wasn't impressed before and this Thanksgiving dinner changed my mind about ever patronizing the restaurant again.

Had lunch here with a friend on a whim after church! So delicious, we tried the fried mushrooms! They were hot and crunchy! A must have for mushroom lovers! The service was fast it didn't take long for our food and it felt real homey inside. I will be back! It's a great spot for brunch!

This is a small unassuming place in a strip mall that you really have to be looking for. We started to walk in and they asked how many in our party and asked us to stand outside while they got our table cleaned and ready for us. You are required to wear a mask when walking around the restaurant. All employees wore masks. Once the table was ready they seated us and brought us menus, water and asked if we wanted any other beverages. The waitress asked if we had any questions and she was very friendly and helpful. They serve breakfast all day and also have quite a few choices for lunch and dinner. I got the Sante Fe Omelette which comes with vegetables and hot peppers and blended cheeses. There are potato's on the side and toast. This omelette was delicious and very cheesy! My friend got a Rueben Sandwich and it came with the choice of French Fries, coleslaw or cottage cheese. He loved his sandwich and said it was a 5-star sandwich!! The food came out so quickly it was hard to believe, but it was very tasty and the total bill was $20 for 2 meals- very reasonable. They rang up my debit card right at the table. I would definitely come here again.

Needed a quick lunch but did not want fast food. Found Crimson Cafe on Yelp and it looked promising. The place is in a plaza and pretty unimpressive but do not be fooled by the outside! The inside was clean and comfortable. I noticed a lot of carry-outs making their way out of the place, so I figured that was a good sign. Bathrooms are single stall and decently clean. I believe the owner was our waitress and she was fabulous. Friendly and attentive! Simple but effective menu. Love that breakfast is served all day and good options for lunch/dinner. The prices are also affordable. I went breakfast and my husband went lunch. I got the french toast and bacon. Big portions of the french toast and good flavor. The bacon was cooked how I wanted - slightly crispy. My husband got the tomato basil soup and it tasted fresh and homemade - tons of flavor, especially the basil. The chicken Caesar salad was great - good amount of dressing, chicken was cut nicely and hot, and big portion. Everything came out pippin' hot! Really glad we found Crimson Cafe and I highly recommend you give it a try!

We were looking for someplace to eat for lunch and we found this place nearby our hotel…read more We saw a line waiting outside, so it must be good so we parked in their private parking lot. When you walk in, it had a nice vibe to it. There is a huge barrel of peanuts that you can scoop to eat at your table. We were greeted right away, and we were walked to our booth. The place was pretty big. They had plenty of room for seating, especially for big parties. There was a couple of big parties that came before us and it didn't feel crowded. The place was clean. They have flatscreen TVs around muted and you can hear the country music in the background. Our waiter was very friendly and took his time when we were ordering. Hubby ordered a cocktail drink and he said it was good and I ordered unsweetened tea. The drinks came in mason jars, which was a nice spin to the standard glass cup. At the table, they gave us two fresh hot rolls that were light and fluffy sweet and buttered. It was so good that we asked for seconds. Hubby ordered the half slab barbecue ribs and loaded, baked potato and a side salad with 1000 island. The barbecue ribs was nice fall off the bone. It had dry rubbed smoked, and the rib sauce was on the side. Hubby liked it. He would get it again, and he also enjoyed his loaded, baked potato with all the fixings. I ordered the 1 pound bone in ribeye steak with baked potato with butter and sour cream, medium rare and side salad with thousand island dressing. I got the salad and I was asked if I wanted croutons and cheese and I said yes it was OK. I felt like the lettuce should've been more fresh and crispy. It was kinda wilted, but I still ate it anyway. And they doused the salad with my thousand island dressing. Next time I will ask for the dressing on the side. My steak was indeed medium rare just the way I like it. I was also given A1 steak sauce, which is my favorite stay condiment. Our weight staff checked us a couple of times to make sure everything was OK. Is definitely a popular place because after we left the place got filled up pretty quickly. Overall, I come back here again when I'm around the area for the steak and ribs, the hospitality and those hot rolls!

It seems like a nice place but our experience, particularly food, wasn't great. Service was good,…read moreour waiter was patient and friendly as we came as a party of 6 plus kids. What left me puzzled is food. What I loved were fries, round shaped which I thought was rather unusual and just the right amount of salt, crispiness, softness inside. That's about it though. As a main dish I picked prosciutto focaccia and while on paper it looked great, it came out very dry, almost stale, I didn't enjoy it at all. While fries were great, the portion of it was tiny. Like, 10 or 11 fries in a small plate. My partner got a chicken sandwich and it was good. Now, the kids got kids burger which comes with fries too and I swear the kids plate had double the fries compared to my side. We also got kids pasta and it was the same size as someone's pasta from our party. I mean, great value for kids menu items, sure, but I'm just not sure why adult dishes are so slim compared to kids. When they brought the check we noticed two items in it that we didn't order, which we realized after paying for it and looking at the receipt (they use portable terminals and have an option to text you the receipt). Our server corrected the mistake and refunded the difference for the two items we didn't order promptly after we pointed it out but this still left a bad aftertaste for us; we don't always look at receipts and this one would've gone unnoticed for sure, we only looked because total seems a bit too high. I also noticed that the soup upcharge on the menu is $2, but on the check it was $3. Pointed it out to the server too but she didn't do anything about it. It's just a dollar so we didn't press for it, and again, only noticed it because we started looking at the receipt due to unusually high total. Anyway, it was nice to visit, but we won't be back.
