This was my second visit to rocket Donuts, as it was another success. I had the triple berry donut, and it certainly was one of the best donuts I've ever eaten. One top of that, the service was fast, friendly, and smiley. Go here and eat something! read more

All I can say is - AH MAY ZING. No joke, some of the best donuts I've ever had. Especially the cream filled chocolate ones. I even had a Chai and something filled donut that was super good as well. Drove in from Vancouver to try their monster donuts! We arrived around lunchtime on a Sunday, and they had a full variety of their monster donuts left. A comment we made was how delicious their monster donut was despite the size of it. Sometimes size can diminish quality, but these donuts were still excellent! Also loved the free parking, and the location in Fairhaven... it's such a great place to wander around for an afternoon! read more

Got a half dozen donuts couple days ago. Raspberry filled donut was truly perfection. Nice glazed exterior with loads of raspberry filling. A+ Coconut cream filled donut another winner. Plenty of coconut and cream filled center. Donut dough just average. Overall B+ Apple Fritter. Glazed exterior was tasty, however I found both fritters to be lacking anywhere enough Apple. Disappointing. C- Bavarian Cream Filled Chocolate Coated. Amazing! True balance between chocolate, donut, and cream. A+ Buttermilk Bar. OK. Average. C Staff very friendly and helpful. I like this place because when I visited here, I realized that here looked nice place. There were so many people, so before I ate an ice-cream and donuts, I knew that Rocket Donuts & Acme Ice Cream is famous place in Bellingham. Rocket Donuts has some charms, and those made me happy. First charm is special decorations such as a rocket and alien. Those looked like a film of science fiction move. It was interesting. Second charm is neat place. Although there were so many people, Rocket Donut kept on remaining neat place. I saw that when people gone, some staff cleaned all places in Rocket Donut. If my friends want to eat a dessert after lunch, then I recommend this place. I pretty much like here. read more

As doughnut shops go, this one is absolutely iconic. Center of Fairhaven- all free parking around the building (which also hosts Fat Pie Pizza behind, yum) and fun seating options. The doughnuts are so rad- you can purchase a cake sized one even! I personally had the gluten free doughnut and was very impressed. No grainy texture, and deliciously chocolate-y. Great with a cup of coffee, which they also serve. Don't forget about the ICE CREAM, which is rich and really flavorful. Good variation in flavor too. This place isn't incredibly dairy friendly everywhere, but you would definitely be able to find something! Everyone is kind- mostly student age staff- and helpful in nature. They ingredient checked a couple things for us without any problem. read more

There's a little jewel in Fairhaven called "Rocket Donuts" and I highly recommend you come by for a little dessert and check out their fun space-themed decor. From the incredible cronuts they are now serving to their cinnamon buns and filled donuts, there has never been one that has not been fresh, melt-in-your-mouth delicious. On a bleary morning, I once tried their maple donut with bacon on the top. Yumm! I always bring my visitors here after dinner, and there is always something for everyone. read more

So 5 stars for (of course) the donuts, but also for the girl that sold me the donut. She asked me how I was doing, and I said, "Pretty good, I just got my college schedule set up." Then she goes on about how you work hard, get it set up, then something happens, and you have to settle for a crappy schedule where you have to actually wake up early in the morning for a class. She was kind of sarcastic, and she also seemed somewhat depressed, but she said it all in a cute, funny, serious way. That girl made my day, thanks for the donut lol. Another jewel on my doughnut frenzy crown. Loved the location with its wraparound patio and plenty of outside seating. The staff are super nice and had samples of a bunch of different types of doughnuts. Also, locally made Acme ice cream is onsite! Did I mention they're vegan friendly? 1) cinnamon twist Chewy cinnamon-y, very generous portion. Nom. 2) cruller What'd you expect. 3) vegan sprinkle cake doughnut. Yum! Bonus points for being yum and vegan. 4) blueberry cake doughnut holes THIS is how doughnut holes should taste. My fave thing we tried. And a dozen for $1.50, seriously? 5) almond chocolate raised doughnut. Great flavour combination with the crunchy toasted almonds and generous portion size. Love it!! Situated in the heart of the Fairhaven historical district, Rocket Donuts is the perfect place to stop for a sweet treat and a hit of caffeine. Not only do they have great coffee, they have a vast selection of donuts from the monster donut to little donut holes. The apple fritter has a delicious doughy texture that is packed with apples and cinnamon. I also loved the blueberry donut holes, which were surprisingly cake donuts rather than fried! The staff here are always so nice. I drive or walk the extra distance to go to the Fairhaven Rocket because of them. Plus they always have more donuts than the location down town Bellingham. I love their monster donuts. They are great for Birthday and/or other special occasions. My husband hates cake so this is where I get his birthday treats. read more

Spectacular. Donuts are good, ice cream is magical. Place overall is a complete winner. Fairhaven is beautiful and worth a visit, but this place really seals the deal. I was hesitant to order an Americano here, because I figured the coffee would be secondary to their [amazingly delicious] donuts. Guess who was wrong?! Those babies are STRONG, just the way I like them. Straight jolt and powerful. Seriously, I don't let things ruin my day, but watered down coffee makes. me. so. angry. Glad I don't have to worry about that here! Each time they've been consistent, no matter who is making them. Service is friendly. The 15% discount deal from Fat Pie receipt is awesome. Ice cream was fantastic; didn't have a donut. I had berry mix or something in a waffle cone, and it was perfect. The outside patio was great for enjoying the ice cream in a relaxing space, and I would definitely come back here to enjoy different flavors. Not super dense, not too sweet. Just right! This is the "three bears" of donut places. Maple bars were topped with the perfect amount of maple glaze. I would give it 4.5 stars if I could because it also had cute tables to read at while munching but not nearly enough outlets for devices. read more
