Veggie hash with two over medium eggs and breakfast sausage added.
Amy M.

Service was great! Atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. Very cafe-ish! They have great background music (oldies). Food is awesome! Like you are going to your friend's house or grandma's for brunch! Homemade jams for your toast or biscuit. Pretty sure those are seasonal. Their bread is definitely homemade. I had the wheat bread. When in Marietta near the big chicken, PLEASE try this place out! What a gem!

Smoked Turkey Hash

I remember when this place first opened. Today was my first time visiting in many years and it is nice to see this small business maintaining the integrity of its purpose. I was greeted by a warm server who was happy to invite me to a table in the dining room. She served me fresh hot coffee with lots of milk as I requested. Throughout my dining experience, she kept my coffee topped off! The Smoked Turkey Hash was delicious. At first glance, the portion looked small, however, I was unable to even complete the meal. It was very filling. The dish was served hot and my eggs were cooked as I requested. The dinning room and bathroom was clean and fresh. Overall, it was very nice to return to this restaurant after a few years and experience this breakfast spot. They are still serving good food, fresh smoked meats with good service.

Still thinking about the Fried Chicken Biscuit with Hot Honey Garlic Sauce from Crooked Tree Café in Marietta, GA. Buttery biscuit, tender chicken, and that hot honey flavor? Crazy good. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area! #rolieats #goodeats #foodie #atleats #mariettaeats #southernfood #biscuitlove #supportlocal

Brisket Sandwich

This has been a local Cobb County favorite of mine for years. Took my son for breakfast but he decided to have lunch. When we walked in it reminds you of a country kitchen, comfort food trope of place. It's not a big place but there's plenty seating inside and a few tables on the front patio. I ordered pancakes with chicken sausage and my son got the brisket sandwich with macaroni & cheese. The orders come out fast and service is in point. My son's sandwich was gone in minutes. He wasn't a fan of the mac - it was more like noodles with cheese sauce versus baked mac 'n cheese. My breakfast was yummy and super fresh, fluffy pancakes and what tasted like housemade sausage. If you're a pancake, French toast or country breakfast lover (eggs, meat, grits, toast or biscuits with gravy) add this place to your list. They keep early hours so remember that.

Chicken Apple Hash and Denver Omelette!! So good!! Chicken apple Hash is different but good!!

The food was amazing!! Very chill country cafe inside feel!! Staff were friendly and attentive!!

Sweet potato pancakes, what? Fluffy, flavorful and all around delish!

This is BY FAR the BEST biscuits and gravy I've ever had and I didn't even know sweet potato pancakes existed, but oh so YUM! Everything was expertly prepared and supremely delish! Service was fast and friendly. Prices were reasonable for large portions. All in all, this is now my favorite breakfast spot...I cannot wait to go back!

"Over medium" eggs on breakfast platter.

Cute interior with comfortable seating. Good menu selection with mediocre pricing. Unfortunately food was very MEH and service was a bit surely. The specialty apple and pineapple jellies were the highlight. The biscuit was good but a bit dry. My "over medium" egg was a bit less than over easy. The hot chocolate was clearly instant. Probably will not return.

Brisket grilled cheese - substituted chicken (they were out of brisket) and hold the pimento cheese. With a side of green beans.

Exterior Located on Cobb Pkwy right across from Ferguson Plumbing Supply. Interior Small and kinda dark but not unwelcoming. Several small tables and a few booths. Customer Service My waitress and the two other staff members were very friendly and accommodating. I specifically dropped in to try the brisket grilled cheese and when I found out that they were out of brisket, I was gonna head some place else, told them that I would check back another day - but they went ABOVE and beyond to try to find a sandwich and a side that I might like. There was a group of 5 - 6 construction worker dudes leaving just as I arrived. It was about 50 minutes before closing time and there were only 3 other customers - an elderly lady dining alone and a youngish looking couple dining in a booth, so I think I arrived after the lunch rush was over. Because of the small dining room, I chose a spot that was an equal distance from both of them. While I was dining - the male half of the couple took a large swig of his soft drink, then threw his head back and let out a HUGE loud belch. His female companion laughed as though it was the most charming thing she'd ever witnessed and I guess he felt so pleased by her response, that he chugged some more soda and treated us all to another longer, louder burp. They looked like college students and the waitress had mentioned to me earlier that she was a KSU student, so I genuinely hope these were not her friends. She saw and heard the guy (EVERYONE turned to look at him when he did it - both times) but she didn't say or do anything to reprimand him. No stars deducted for this. Price / Value Priced about like all restaurants nowadays. Lol. Food My green beans were cooked to the perfect consistency. Snappy but tender. My grilled cheese with chicken was tasty. Overall I would come back, but I would definitely call first to check availability and I would get takeaway instead of dining in.

What a great way to start my day! Headed into Crooked Tree where Daniel served our part of 4 with a few good recommendations. It was a groovy and eclectic vibe with nostalgic memorabilia donned on the walls. The music was nice and the homey atmosphere welcoming. The food was delish like some had been in that kitchen working hard. We all enjoyed our meals from start to finish. My favorite dish was the fluffy pancakes, with chocolate chips. So delicious! I don't think I ate again until we'll in the evening. Filling good service and a Groovy atmosphere. What's more to love!

Food today was horrible. Unsure if they changed cooks or not. The food was CROOKED. I'm heading to Waffle House near the big chicken I eat the biscuit and tried to eat the small part of the bacon the was actually done. This was CERTAINLY NOT ABOUT MONEY, but not to have any discount offered.

Entrance.

Tonya -- you rock. Stop for the food, stay for the bbq sauce / syrup / jams. ----- locally sourced mixed with chef owned and made. Breakfast caught my eye during lunch time. Did the brisket hash. Not the best brisket I've ever had by a long shot. But. It lead me to the most Georgia BBQ I've had since I've moved here. First. The hash. Red potatoes, quartered and seared. Green pepper and onions need larger knife cuts to show up. Egg test. Soft scrambled. Passed. :) Over easy: Passed. :)~ BBQ sauce - sweet plus vinegar in perfect harmony. I declare this the taste of Georgia. No where else have I tasted a bbq sauce quite like this. Toasted banana pancake was good but stood up and made itself known with the addition of the pancake syrup. The syrup and jams are crafted in house. This place is clean, upbeat (house of blues music), and is staffed by the kindest people. They are super busy on the weekends. If you want a calm quiet experience, check them out during the week. Small improvement note: smell. Think a cleaning product was strong today. Hit me when I walked in. I'd rather a place be too clean than not clean enough. Just wish the food was the fist thing. Brussel sprouts - more steamed than seared. Tots. Just tots. Will be back.

Been there many times and love it.. Looking for a good place on a Sunday for my moms 96th Birthday. Good for large group on a Sunday?

Possibly if you get there before the "after church crowd". Call the manager/owner and check. I think they could pull some tables together. Accolades to you for doing this for your mom!

Solid 5 stars all around: ambiance, service, and food…read more They have a small parking lot behind the store, I drove past it and had to come back around but found it and easily found parking in the middle of the day. Inside is lovely and clean with earthy decor and some toys for children by the restrooms. They also have a portable changing table available on request. I sat outside on the patio and they put a fan on me since it was warm. Lovely seats on the lawn shaded by a large tree as well as some deck seating. They have a large menu loaded with goodies. I found about 5-6 things I actually wanted at once but settled not he Veggie bowl and added chicken sausage. My bowl had sweet potato hash, cheese, kale, red peppers, red onion and mushrooms sautéed, topped with two eggs and my added chicken. It was a huge portion and it was really delicious. Perfectly cooked and healthy and loaded - the hash was phenomenal. My waitress was the sweetest and I really just enjoyed a lovely quiet lunch with the patio entirely to myself on a lovely summer afternoon. Couldn't have been better.

It lacked flavor, but I appreciated it for not being overly salty. My favorite meal was the avocado nachos. I have thought of them since my first time eating them. It is one of the most popular dishes on the menu. Ask long as it's offered I will always order it . The parking was a bit tight behind the house . When I arrived , I was very lucky to get the last spot . However , I noticed other patrons were parking next to the Root Canal office . It was an open area that appeared to be a makeshift parking area. There was outdoor seating, by which I saw quite a few people seating there . It looked cozy and no one seemed uncomfortable. As it was my first time there. I elected to eat inside. It wasn't a bad experience, but the home is very small . I can imagine it being congested . But I was there early on a Sunday . Will I eat here again ? Yes !

The children's options are a great value if you have a little one. My only concern is that when we went in on our first go, I know that I ordered French toast for my child. When the waitress brought out our food, my child had pancakes. When I brought the error to her attention, she seemed rather quick to say I was wrong about this. I let it slide because we're not going to have a giant argument in a restaurant with wait staff over a small infraction like this. I get the feeling that our waitress may have an issue with accountability and would've continued to argue had I not given her an easy way out and said "It's ok, we will settle for this. Don't worry about it." She responded by offering to bring out some French toast anyway, which was kind, but flat out telling your customers that they're wrong is maybe not the best way to go about this to have a healthy, trusting relationship. My husband even confirmed that I had ordered what I said I ordered afterward. Maybe some staff training regarding approaching situations like this would be appreciated, such as having wait staff confirm orders once the entire table has started their orders prior to transferring orders to the kitchen would help eliminate this issue. Please know that we did return the next day because the food was great and they got our order correct the next morning. Yay!
