Best friend and I finally came to a decision to make our move to London since it has always been something that we have wanted to do but never came around to it. We have both experienced short-distance moves so this was gonna be a bit more challenging. Now if there is one word that can explain the type of people we are is "shop-a-holic" so moving without any help was impossible. Our friend Eric actually gave us this moving company's contact information. They were very nice and they made the move look and feel so easy. They took care of all the furniture we had, packing up our kitchen, living room, dining room, and they also helped us clear out our attic, which had tons of things up there. What was super helpful and beneficial for us is that as they were packing and loading everything up, they also helped us get rid of a bunch of things we no longer needed or wanted to salvation. Affordability is only as good as the team behind it. Cross Country Movers didn't offer the cheapest rate out of the bunch and normally the areas I can save money I go with.. BUT! I've learned some lessons over the past years dealing with the cheap movers. Its not so cheap when things break or turn up missing. Thats a whole other story though. Getting back to what I was saying - Cross Country looked reputable online and sounded reputable over the phone but one can never be too careful these days. I asked quite a lot of questions before making any kind of appointment. Once I felt like they like they knew what they were talking about I set up the first appointment which was a free quote. A mover rep came into place and looked at everything I wanted to move. That's how they gage price here. It's better than doing the over the phone thing and getting a price that changes so I understood why they did it. My sister had loved her time in Cleveland but it was time to get her back home and I'm glad we picked this place together. Decided to relocate closer to work and a girlfriend of mine who actually works for the same company told me that these guys would get the job done fast and at an affordable rate. Thank god the move wasn't too far but it did require a lot of work due to the fast that I work from home and am a huge electronic fanatic. So packing everything safely and properly was a major priority. They used not only boxes but crates and other materials that would keep my things safe. They were prompt and very good guys, easy to communicate with and they made sure I was happy the entire time. In fact while they did all the lifting and packing/loading things up I was able to focus more on the little things and cleaning up. I was looking for a moving company that could attend to my needs as quickly as possible. My mom actually mentioned them to my girlfriend and I. They were a huge help to her because they had an urgent move as well. I called them and explained my situation. I wanted something that can get me moved out within a few hours and at a reasonable rate. They said they could do it without hesitation and made it happen! They showed up a tad bit earlier which was a huge help to get a head start on things. Their customer service and speed was incredible! Every move can be very difficult, so the employee that was very patient with me making my moving list deserves a raise. The flat rate was incredible very affordable pricing after researching nothing came close to the prices. After I set my date my movers arrived on time they very nice and funny. Everything was packed tightly and efficiently. I met them at my destination at the same time unloading was twice as faster than packing. I'm blown away and impressed on how everything was done and finished promptly. I see that the company works nationwide so I'm considering highly on using cross country for my business moves. These are those type of places that you hope to go to and receive that service your looking for. The young girl consulted me on the services so that everything was understood before I left. When the movers arrived which they were on time everything was packed tightly and professionally. Again one of those places that you would hope you come across during a difficult move. Trip was massive all my furniture was tucked away safely. When I arrived i was a little nervous waiting on my items and I received everything in tact in mint condition!!! It took me a while but I finally found a moving company that was going to work for my budget. Especially when your moving all types of expenses start showing up. Flat pricing from Cross country is what helped. As soon as I walked in very overwhelming about the move. The young girl guided me with a move list and pricing that put things into perspective. If you ever consider hiring a professional company to help you out with a move, do not even hesitate to call these guys. Such a group of professional and experienced gentlemen that literally know what it takes to complete a move of any size. They did not fold under pressure and kept working until the very last minute but they were off the clock.
