Great food, very friendly staff. Anahi was pleasant to talk to before I boarded my flight. Anytime I'm in Boise I will be stopping here!

Absolutely terrible. I know this is an airport restaurant but wow no efforts made here…read more We were traveling for Boise State family weekend, like so many others, and wanted some breakfast. By the way BSU family weekend is like a Super Bowl here in terms of visitors. The menu offers very little but they had an egg and potatoes plate which sounded good. Guess what they were out of potatoes. Out of potatoes at 10 am in Idaho! On parents weekend! Not prepared at all for the weekend rush. They offered croissant sandwiches in there quick to go counter so we thought we could get just the croissant , but the guy working there said he couldn't give us a croissant unless it was only made as a sandwich! We got the wrap and it tasted like it was made with powder eggs. The side was tots. You might think that counts as potatoes but he was more like overcooked crunch salt balls. Seems like they were from yesterdays leftovers. Also got the avocado toast. Terrible. Plain toast with more like guacamole, not fresh cut avocado, with sliced tomatoes. That's it. They should serve this with tortilla chips and call it guacamole dip. Beyond the food being barely edible. We sat next to the bar and could hear the waitress complaining to the bartender that "everyone is being cheap" and only ordering juice and coffee. Not mimosas, beer or wine. But when I saw a guy at the bar fry and order a cocktail they said they can't serve hard alcohol until later. If you are concerned with your tips try having good customer service and a menu that is available to customers. How can you complain when items aren't available to the paying customer and they only ordered what little was available. Hard pass next time. I'll wait for Smashburger to open or grab a bagel.

My co workers and I headed to Bittercreek for my birthday and happy hour! We were killing two birds…read morewith one stone today and we were all here for it! A couple of my friends showed up first, got a great table outside and ordered a couple apps to get the party started. I showed up after goodies and drinks were ordered. We started off with some chips and salsa and pountine. The chips and salsa looked good but the pountine was definitely calling my name! I love me some potatoes and these potatoes looked like they were going to be right up my alley! I dished up a good portion before my friends got some. They were kind to let me plate first cause of my new kidney. I didn't want to be too greedy so the portion I got was a few bites. Those few bites got me hooked so it was a must to get another order started. While my order of pountine was being worked on, I tried the pretzel with cheese and the hummus plate. The pretzel was perfectly salted. The cheese sauce was the perfect addition to the soft pretzel. I took a good amount of the hummus and Greek salad. The pita that came with it was a great vessel for the hummus. It was crispy with a slight chew to it. The hummus was clean tasting and rich. The Greek salad was so fresh. All the components of the salad tasted like they were just picked from the garden. You literally can't get anymore farm to table than that! It was so fresh! The second order of pountine came out. Everything about this appetizer was delicious! I love soggy, softer fries and these fries were the business! The gravy and cheese were the highlight of the dish for me. You can never go wrong with potatoes, cheese and gravy! There was a good amount of meat on the pountine. It was so tender! You can tell it was cooked with a lot of love and time! I took the rest home and I plan on hiding my box in the back of my fridge so my daughter can't get to it! We ended our happy hour with the beignets. Each one of these goodies were covered in powered sugar. The caramel sauce that was paired with it was devine! In all honesty, as full as I was, I could have polished off an order myself! They were the perfect dessert to end this fabulous meal. Bittercreek has been on my to go list for a hot minute. I'm so happy we got to come here and celebrate my birthday. The food was marvelous. Our server did a fantastic job taking care of us! Our waters were always filled. Our cocktails were never dry. And our plates were always filled cause food was always ordered on time for us. Homie was on point tonight! The venue can't be any more stunning. The weather was lovely. We were meant to be here today! In so happy we started my birthday week off at Bittercreek!

If the weather is cooperating, sit outside. The beer selection is impressive, with a great range of lagers and ales. We had our eye on one particular light, crisp option, but they were out for the night. Our server pointed us toward something comparable... I believe it was called Teddy Bearnd...it worked. Now, the food. My friend went for one of their signature burgers, which was seasoned simply so the beef really gets to shine. The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. Service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. No complaints.

The place looked pretty decent for a pub-style restaurant serving food and beer. Met James, who was…read morethe morning bartender. He was very informative about where to go and places to check out in Boise. I ordered one of the local beers and their flagship meal, the Santa Maria Tri Tip Sandwich. As you can see by looking at the photos, the tri-tip was cooked to perfection. It had tomatoes, poblano, and chimichurri sauce on it to add to the flavors of the tri-tip. The bread consistency was great, not too soggy, and with a great crispy texture. I wish they had spread the tri-tip out more to make sure every bite was being celebrated. I also ordered the mac and cheese as the side per the instructions of the bartender, James. Let me say that was one of the best mac and cheeses that I have ever had. Truly amazing creamy texture and full of rich flavor. Everything melted in your mouth. Definitely worth it. I eventually ended up talking to a fellow bar sitter, and he ended up being the co-owner of the place, TJ. He also filled me in on the places to go and, most definitely, the places to travel to, to experience great beer. He was refreshing to talk to since most people don't have the passion for beer that we both represent. I would highly recommend this place for the staff that is there the solid pub style restaurant that they have created. Super easy and relaxed kinda of place.
