Great experience overall. This was my first firearm purchase in California and I found a good deal on a used Beretta 92F that they had on consignment with original box and paperwork. The guys there knew their stuff and made the process as quick and painless as possible (considering California's laws, lol.) The gun did not come with mags unfortunately since the original owner had it since before CA limited mags to 10 rounds, so the original mags could not be sold. Went here the other day and was disappointed. They are very accessible to talk to but if you don't know everything and looking for some added knowledge you might be disappointed. Definitely better than Turners but I'm a novice and felt they were pretty condescending. Wanted to hold a conceal carry handgun for feel and it seemed to go right by them. Pointed me to a Byrna which I already have. Was interested in looking at an AR15 and was discouraged to do so and pointed to a 9mm rifle. Not quite the same thing. Upon entering the store even though they were taking care of another customer they asked me if I needed anything I just told them that I came here to take the fsc test. They just handed me the test, finished in like 5 min and took my fsc home. Very professional and friendly staff I came here just to take my fsc but I might come back in few weeks to buy my first ever firearm. They even showed me the Mossberg bolt-action shotgun (it was very old one) which was very cool too. I recently visited Crosshairs because of their great reviews and the fact that they're a local veteran-owned business that says they take pride in offering a clean, safe environment. The employee who helped me clearly had good knowledge and was able to advise me about the questions I came to have answered. That said, the fact that none of the employees were wearing face coverings was off-putting considering what we're going through these days. The gentleman who helped me seemed a bit uneasy for some reason and TBH didn't look all that well. It did make me think they didn't care much about their customers. I ended up spending my money at Turner's down the road, where they had a better selection of what I needed. They're also more committed to safety as far as COVID and gave me one less thing to worry about. They also answer their phones and don't have out of date hours posted on Google. read more

I came here to purchase a handgun. The line was extremely long due to the protests. They could only let a certain amount of people in as well due to Covid. No biggie. Came one morning about half hour before they opened which worked. I was one of the first to get let in the store when they opened. Once inside I was helped right away and was able to accomplish and purchase what I needed! The couple of guys that helped me were helpful, courteous and answered any questions I had. The only reason I knocked off a star is due to the high demand of firearms and ammo, they didn't have what I needed. Once I was able to pickup my firearm, I had to keep calling weekly to see if they had ammo for the firearm I purchased. I ended up finding ammo at another store with no issues. Aside from that, I most likely would come back to purchase any other firearm. read more

This place used to be the pits (armpits). I went in a couple times and with one customer present no one ever helped me. Dunno if it had anything to do with me being a minority in Torrance but now new ownership things have dramatically changed. There's actual firearms to view. The staff is more than helpful. I only purchased a lower 80 AR receiver aero precision but was insightful upon purchase. The owner is constantly there making sure he could assist in anyway. The prices can vary but nonetheless a reputable dealer no The only gripe I would have is I have yet to see a firearm retailer giving locals better deals on firearms.. it seems no one wants to give breaks not just crosshairs but EVERYONE. But Law enforcement and firemen seem to get deals all the time. So when shopping for firearms be sure to do your research, there's plenty of private party sales with awesome off the DoJ list firearms at low cost.Fyi read more
