This is a cool place to bring by the clothes you don't wear anymore and get some cash or store credit towards their merchandise. More than other places, this store carries a wide selection of vintage apparel, shoes, etc for both men and women. Although, there is a larger supply for women. They keep up with the season's fashion and trends, which is a good thing, but that means they wont take everyhing you want to get rid of. So save your unwanted winter clothes for winter and summer clothes for summer. Parking is easy to find. read more

Ive sold banana clothes here and small shirts. Ive made 40 bucks from clothes i was never goinf to wear If you have decent clothes in decent condition then you might be able to sell them here. But don't expect old navy or stained clothes to sell here. They want stuff that prob retailed for at least 30 bucks. But it is based on trends so you might get lucky selling some weird thing. I was worried about the reviews but I went here to sell some clothes anyway because I really didn't want to hassle with eBay. Well just a heads up to everyone, now theres a lot of really expensive merchandise there from me that they've priced ridiculously low. I came in with one suitcase of shoes and one suitcase of clothes and they took over half, at least 30 items. And my end price was 157 dollars I was in shock. I did the math and that means my $400 boots and $675 LAMB heels and all my wildfox and a few 400 dollar free people jackets they are going to price at like 30 dollars max. I was in shock. So somebody out there is gonna get a heck of a deal lol. I saw a lot of highly outdated things behind the counter priced higher that that but oh well. And they did pass on some incredible items, the passed on brand new j brand, current Elliot, and $400 RAG AND BONE jeans because she didn't even look at the label. And she passed on a 575 dollar Alice and Olivia jacked because "it was print" and there are hideous print old lady stuff all over that store so I'm not sure where that one came from. They passed on an $1100 alaia laser cut belt that she glanced and and didn't even pick up. I think they need to hire people with a little better idea of what will and will not sell because every item I brought it would've flown off the shelves for twice the price they're putting it at. But they've got so much ugly merch already (that I really can't imagine them saying yes to) that they're probably just trying to get rid of everything at the lowest price possible. But I guess I'm giving them four stars because I Read the reviews that they price things super low and that they don't take great items and I chose to go anyway. One thing I did find different than most reviews though everyone that interacted with me there was super polite and nice and friendly! No one was ever remotely snooty or rude like others say they're just a little off when it comes to the buying and prices so come here if you're too lazy to sell on eBay like me but expect to get almost no money for you're expensive items. read more

Horrible customer service. I was seen after 15 minutes, but my boyfriend who signed in directly after me, waited for 40 minutes after I had already been seen. The girls' working were working on people that left items for them to look through over the course of 24 hours instead of helping the hour wait that was actually in the store. I asked the girl at the counter how long the wait would be for the people who were still waiting and she said it would be another 20 minutes on top of the time we had already waited. It's not as if she was kind about the way she said it either, she was very rude and snippy. Saying "I'm one person doing the job for more than one person and there's only so much I can do at one time." Note, she wasn't even working at the selling register and could have been much nicer in the way that she said it. When there are no customers physically in the store waiting before me, It's not unreasonable for me to be upset about an additional 30 minute wait. I also noticed her talking about another employee negatively after she had walked away. She appeared to be the shift manager and acted as if she had better things to do than help the customers in her store. read more

I'll have to agree with the other reviewer's here. Classic trendy and unwarranted snoot and empty arrogance. I like another reviewer's Remark that you work in a thrift store so take it down a notch! I'll second that emotion. 45 minute wait during a non-busy time when there was only two people in front of me, to sell awesome designer and trendy items, none of which they bought. Yet their selection is very dingy and raggedy, things that are pilling, torn, and threads hanging all out. I will be never coming here again LOL. And what I don't appreciate is seeing the responses on many of these one star reviews, not addressing the people's concerns directly, but just using the strategy of acting as if they're doing fine and they're going to correct the problems. It doesn't look like they're being corrected guys!! If I get one of those pat customer service responses to this, I promise I will go ahead and put a couple other one star reviews out there on other platforms. I rarely give bad reviews but the costumer service I received here was terrible. I got there at opening and had to wait an hour while they went through someone else's stuff. The person happened to be someone famous so they treated them with nothing but respect, but when it came time to me they couldn't care less about me. The waiting didn't bother me, I understand it is a process to go through clothes, but when it came time for my clothes they barely looked at it and treated me like I was giving them trash. My clothes were from good stores like Nordstrom and designer stores and not in bad condition at all and they gave me such attitude about everything. I'm not upset because they didn't take all my clothes like they did with the previous client, I am upset because no matter what someone brings in they need to treat every client with respect. I have no desire to go back here to sell or buy clothes. Costumer service is more important to me than getting a deal on clothes. read more

I shop here once in awhile but man oh man I always try to avoid their bitchy obnoxious workers. They are never happy!!!!! Always have the ugliest look on their faces, and I've never been welcomed by any of them. Sometimes you can even notice when they do not like a customer, way to make it obvious!!! Anyways, the place is a complete mess! So much clutter. The shoes are dusty and visibly worn out. It's sad because they actually have cute things but yet It drives me away when I see all the stains and dust piled up on these items. It smells sometimes and I always walk out sneezing my brain out. I've tried to sell here many times and honestly my clothes are expensive pieces and fashionably up to date and they refuse them in a way which seems very offensively. Crossroads is by far my favorite clothing store on the planet! I literally refuse to shop anywhere else. And this location in paticular has all the best brands everytime I go. IRO, VINCE, JAMES PERSE, MASON, RILLER & FOUT, ALEXANDER WANG, TWELTH ST. BY CYNTHIA VINCENT, and so on. I have literally found so many gems at this location, all for SUPER CHEAP. ITS INSANE!!!!!!!!!!! I will spend about $150.00 every time I come in and leave with at least 12 or more pieces by my favorite designers. Oh and all the girls that work there are nice. To all the people complaining about poor customer service ITS A CHEAP USED CLOTHING STORE what are you expecting? To be poured a class of champagne and have someone style you?!?! Wow this was the WORST display of customer service I've experienced in my life. I called an hour ago and was told that the store would be closing at 7pm - told the girl I was in westlake & wanted to be sure that as long as I arrived prior to 7pm that I would be able to have a clerk look over my items. Got to the store with 20 min to spare to be told by a rude heavy set ex brunette ( giving this detail to identify who I spoke to but I guess it does help to get some of the shock and frustration off - anyways her hair is brassy color shoulder length ... brass colored trying to be a blonde but the colorist she goes to obviously is not too familiar with a toner) she was one of two girls at the two open registers and there was no one that either of the girls was helping when I walked to the desk. I couldn't believe her condescending tone - she enjoyed each word coming up out of her mouth to telling my to come back at 11 that they were closed (6:45 isn't 7pm you lazy self important jerk!) love to have wasted time and gas on a Sunday after confirming before I even made the drive to studio city. All is can say is shame on the management to allow such poor behavior and short cuts. Yes closing duties are very important and totally cool to start doing when the shop is about to close BUT WHAT THESE GIRLS FORGET IS ITS CALLED CLOSING DUTIES BECAUSE IT IS DONE ONCE THAT STORE IS CLOSED TO SETTLE UP THE DRAWER & ready the store for the next day. LAZY AND RUDE - I will be sure to share this with every customer I have a chance to share my advice to stay away from this location - and if I can Think of anything else that would help to get the word out like maybe write to the local magazine/ newspaper - ha! There is no reason as to why this store should be as picky as they are with their buys. The clothing hanging on display in this store is outdated and perhaps aimed for a "mature" audience. I was insulted as to being told my clothing was "cheap" and in fact, most of the clothing I brought in was brand new, tags on, never worn. Not to mention the salesgirl helping me took an excessive amount of time to "get to" my belongings. I was there for over an hour and left empty-handed. Last night I spent $380 on some clothing and left other clothing on hold that I didn't have time to try on because the store was closing. I plan on going back today to buy what I placed in hold. The staff is really mean and called me names behind my back. My husband overheard the woman say "I wish that bitch would hurry up so we can close." It's very hurtful that after 5 years of shopping at crossroads the staff is so rude. The same woman was two faced and told me to my fave that I looked good in what I was trying on. Then when I went back to the changing room to get dressed and get my things together to pay the sales woman started talking about me to her employees about me. My husband was standing right there by the cash register and heard them. It just really hurts my feelings that the staff acts like this towards paying customers. I tried calling the number listed on Yelp to speak to a manger about it today but the phone number doesn't work. I don't expect anything to come from this review because based on the attitude at the store I doubt the staff really cares about their reviews. It's just sad that the level of customer service is the way it is these days. I'm still going to go back and shop there. I like what crossroads offers. I wish however the staff was nicer and didn't use the foul language and criticize their paying patrons. read more

I don't get it...or maybe I do. I brought in about a dozen high-end, in season ultrahip items, and the sneering teenybopper who "helped" me barely even looked at the clothes. She flipped through them while chatting to her coworker, and unless her eyes each move about independently, she wasn't even glancing at the clothes. The stuff I brought in really was very equivalent to what the store had on its racks. I know what kind of store this is, and so each item I brought in was trendy, edgy, designer label, and in a hooker/waitress/model/actress tiny size. The only reason I can think of for the quick rejection is that the girl looked at me and thought I wasn't hip or cool enough, so she didn't bother looking at my clothes. Whatever. If they had taken even one or two things I probably would have made this a regular shopping destination, but with that attitude, they are not getting my business, ever. read more

This place is a piece of big dog turd rip off!!! I have gone here twice to sell close thinking the first time was a fluke and I was wrong. I went the first time to sell shoes and this lady with short blonde hair (Kim I think) was so rude, I never sold with them before and she never informed me what she was going to sell my Steve maddens and madden girl shoes for she just took them and put a tag on them and tossed them into a bin... They took 7pairs of shoes and gave me 20$. Wtf! So I came back today to sell "summer" items, dresses, sleeveless tops, shirts etc.... The gentleman went thru the entire bag of clothes and only bought two pieces for a whopping 5$. I do not know if its because I'm not the typical studio city girl but I felt like the girl before me that came in with 5 items and got 40$ is a little strange.... He refused to buy summer dresses with spaghetti straps and halters because it had an elastic waste and! ARE YOU F*CKING SERIOUS!!!!!! It is a summer dress you are looking for summer clothes! After dealing with him I asked someone else why is it you refused to buy my clothes she said, "yea well, we don't sell dresses with elastic as it is hard to sell, and we are overstocked on dresses right now." I've been shopping at different Crossroads stores with my daughter for many years. I have always found employees to be pleasant enough (some obviously nicer than others), but I'm taking the time to write this because I've never encountered such an extraordinarily gracious, friendly, and pleasantly professional staff person as I did last Thursday. Her name is Cera, and not surprisingly, she is the store manager. While waiting with my daughter to sell some of her clothes, I overheard how incredibly tactful and respectful she was to people selling, as well as to the staff she was apparently training. It was no different when it was my turn. This is someone who I wish had the opportunity to train anyone and everyone who deals in customer service! I went in last week and from the start everyone was very helpful and explained the process to me. My wait time wasn't very long I was happy with the trade I got. Wow, RUDE! I stopped at the store to sell my jeans and shoes today. I had about 15 jeans and 6 p. of shoes. She looked over everything I brought and told me they are out of fashion aka old. What? Diesel, BCBG, Rock and Republic - out of fashion??? She bought only one pair of my shoes. I was so socked! I consider myself a fashionable girl, and always dress in style. "out of fashion" I could not believe she said that! Most of my items were bought within last year or so. I turned around and went to another location in West Hollywood. Guess what? They bought EVERYTHING I brought! Everything! And they were nice and polite, smiled and talked to me like I am a customer! Everything I brought was fashionable and in style - no problem! There are some gems in this store and most of the prices are good, however there are some things where the price is basically the same as it would be from the original store and this is recycled fashion! Also, they are very picky with buying. My friend and I have both brought bags and bags and they take nothing. Now they mostly take designer items. It's a good place to shop for rare finds and more original pieces, but otherwise the items and prices and like the original store they came from so I'd rather just get them there. read more

great selections, music and atmosphere. I was a bit surprised by the quality and prices. There were some really scuffed up and worn out shoes that weren't even name brand and were selling for 10% less then the original cost. I saw the same thing with the clothing. I could find a lot of these items for less on a clearance rack at the actual store. But there was also some really great steals as well, so it balanced out in the end. The place can definitely use a little love with a duster and mop. Also the employees could be a bit more inviting but I will be back :D oh and I will add that they should put clothing in size categories, no point of going through all those wracks just to find 1 or 2 things in your size. read more

Great clothes, BUT - beware! They pierce each garment with a security device that rips fibers and makes a permanent hole. After a few washings, this hole gets bigger and bigger, as the fibers continue to fray. I wish they'd figure out a better way to salve their distrust of customers. I won't buy here. read more

Let me start by saying that the store is filled with incredible designer merchandise at a fraction of the price. Most of their items have either been barely worn or are new with tags's. Now on to telling you something incredible, I have never seen such incredible customer service in all my years. It's holiday season, and they are packed with customers and I noticed a senior couple sitting looking confused. Christy who is the district manager stopped everything in her tracks just to make sure they were OK. She was so sweet and welcoming! It was the sweetest thing ever. They run an incredibly amazing store and it's a good feeling being inside of it. Sarah is the store manager and she is incredibly helpful you could see that she loves what she does and how wonderfully she trains new employees. I am also going to tell you that I sell at both wasteland and crossroads and from now on I will only sell to crossroads. My best friend works for Helmut Lang and told me that he will only sell to crossroads too. They give you more value for your items and they don't have stuck up attitudes like at wasteland. So everyone should just shop at crossroads and get lost there because there's so much incredible merchandise and it's a Ton of fun just being there! read more

This review isn't about selling as much as the range of style and customer service at this store. I was here last week buying up sweaters and came across one that was the perfect rare color of orangey red. It didn't have a tag on it so when I took it to the counter they told me they couldn't sell it to me since there wasn't a tag or any record of it in their system. The girl at the counter was SOOOOOOO nice! I told her it was silly of me to care so much about a used sweater, but she completely understood and said she'd talk to her boss about letting me just have it. She took my number and ACTUALLY called me later that night to let me know if I'd be allowed to take it. Sadly, because of their rules, or some such shit, I couldn't pay for it/they are required to donate it. HOWEVER I was blown away by the fact that a cashier would go out of her way like that. I think her name was Natalie? Yeah...Crossroads should give Natalie a raise. Or a pony. read more

This Location of Crossroads is my favorite although I do like to shop and sell to the Silverlake and Melrose locations as well. I've had better luck at the Studio City location with both buying and selling. Anytime I bring clothes in I make sure I don't haul in trash bags full and only bring in whats on trend and in season. They usually always buy all or most of my items. Not gonna lie, there are a lot of questionable items in the store but there's some good stuff too, you just gotta be patient and look through every rack. I usually spend an hour or more digging around and trying things on, eventually I strike gold! And as for the bad reviews on the customer service, I've never had a problem and always found the ladies to be really nice, It's usually some of the customers I see walking in with an attitude because they have trash bags full of designer clothes and they're offended because their items weren't bought. As a stylist, I know that just because it has a label doesn't mean it's in style. read more
