This review is for the service department, specifically Ali. I brought my 10 year old lexus in because my steering wheel was grinding when it returned to the up position when I turned the car off. Because of the age of the car and milage, I didn't want to invest in a whole new set up, I just wanted the auto return turned off. I determined after some internet research that this could only be done at the dealer with their computer. After dropping the car off and explaining the problem to Ali, I got the call that it couldn't be done. He did let me know that my door panels and dash were under recall, and that they would replace them for free when the new ones arrived. Not exactly what I was looking for, but a bonus anyway. When I got the car back home, I did some more research and was able to explain exactly to Ali how to fix the original problem. He said he would elevate to a manager and deal with it when we did the dash. Ultimately, they were able to fix it in place. Now, you might be wondering why the 5 star review with all the back and forth, but Ali was very interested in doing everything possible to resolve the issue and ultimately got it done. read more

Took awhile for me to post this, but this is the letter that I wrote to Lexus after my experience: I would like to take a minute to tell you about my current experience with Crown Lexus. I had the pleasure of working with Emilio, Manager: Mark, and Finance specialist: Jeff this past Sunday 8/9/09. We had first decided to go to Longo Lexus as they had Chinese speaking salespeople there. We also had Peter from Glendale Lexus who had tried to talk us into buying from him. We were deliberating on Saturday night at 8:30 and I insisted on calling Crown Lexus because of their proximity to my house in Chino Hills. I spoke to Emilio and he was able to offer us a very competitive price. On Sunday, we received a better offer from Glendale Lexus and Emilio was able to match that. Though all of these negotiations were done through the phone, I was very pleased with Emilio's obvious desire to help us find the car that we want. When we arrived at 3:30 Sunday, Emilio was with another customer, but Mark was able to help us take care of everything. My father was very particular about the tires on the car that he wanted, and Emilio, though they had already prepared a car for us, took the time to find another car with the tires that we wanted, and had it re-detailed and washed. We were in the office for about 30 minutes with Jeff to sign the papers. He was very patient, allowing me to read over the paperwork and translate everything in Chinese to my parents. We were able to drive off with our new car by 5:30, only two hours after we stepped into the dealership. I have never had such a pleasant, and easy, experience when buying a car. My parents and I are very glad that we decided to forgo the convenience of language to buy from Crown Lexus. We are looking to trade my mother's car in and we will definitely buy at Crown Lexus. I got my "Brand Spanking New" (as my sales rep Hadi always say) ES300 Hybrid last week, bought it right off the showroom floor. It's soo crazy to watch them drive my car out of those tiny double doors of the showroom, my heart was gonna jump out. lol.. anywayz, back to main topic! I have never been to a car dealership where they DON'T make you feel pressured, like you are getting ready to start a war... but truth is.. buying a car should be a fun thing!! You are getting a brand spanking new car!! AND it was.. here in Crown Lexus. Hadi (pronounced Hottie, no kidding) is super fun and easy to work with, on top of that, this young kid, knows everything about every single Lexus on their lot! Ask him what every button is for, he'll answer you and in fact show you. The sound system in all Lexus are amazing, we just had to have a party in it!! My bf and I were in and out of the dealership within 2 to 3 hrs or so.. spend only about 10 mins on the price haggling, but this dealership is powered by Sonic Automotive TrueCar pricing, so I don't even need to worry bout getting cheated on the price. This dealership does not deserve a single star. Shameful to even call themselves a luxury dealership. By far the WORST service department I have ever experienced. I came for my 10,000-mile service. I waited in my car for a service advisor for almost 20 minutes despite others arriving after me and getting help immediately. I finally got help from Ali Shekeb (HORRIBLE sales advisor). As I waited for my car to get service, others who came after me were getting phone calls that their car was ready; I patiently waited. Finally, I am the only one left in the hallway, and no phone call. Finally, Ali approaches me so that my car is ready. I sign my paper and head outside; then Ali tells me to go to the cashier, so I return to get my paper. Then I go back out to give the attendant my ticket. I can see her frantically looking for my car a few minutes later. She heads back to the service department, and then Ali comes out a few minutes later and tells me my car is not ready; it is still getting washed. AT THIS POINT, I AM BEYOND LIVID but holding my composure. I go back to the hallway and sit down. Minutes later, my car still wasn't ready, so I went straight to the garage and started looking for my car. Ali rushes to the garage, and my car is finally outside. At this point, I just let everyone caring for my car have it. I was fed up. Then a guy named Mike had the audacity to call me and tell me that I was no longer welcome at Crown Lexus after his worker felt uncomfortable and shaken after I lost my patience. How do you think I felt like a damn customer at a luxury dealership where I should have received nothing but the best customer care??? Just a little strange how there are other reviews of people on here complaining about receiving horrible service when trying to get their car serviced for the 10,000 miles. For anyone reading this review, it is best to call the 1-800 number on the back of the paper Lexus gives after they service your car and file a complaint to the Lexus Brand Engagement Center. Each Lexus Dealership is independently owned and operated. So Dave Woodland would the main individual to contact to see any change in the service. Obviously, he's going to protect his ass/job so that I would first speak to the Brand Engagement Center and then contact the General Manager. It seems based on other reviews that this may be an issue that this dealership has. Remember there is strength in numbers. read more

With that said, Mike and Chris the Sales Manager's turned my entire experience around. They found not only the "right" car but a "better" car! July 2 - I came in to get a recall replacement on my fuel delivery pipes, and I can't even begin to express how impressed I was with the service I rec'd. I set my appointment, came in 2 hours early, and still rec'd immediate assistance. It took 10 minutes to check in, and I drove away with an RX loaner (that vehicle is wildly comfortable), as I was told it would be an overnight job to replace this pipe. I rec'd a call at the break of dawn letting me know my vehicle was ready, and when I showed up to give back the loaner, I drove away in my own IS250 with a FULL TANK OF GAS. July 25 - It was time for my routine oil change, and again, a quick check-in and an immediate start to my services. When the service rep came back and told me my tires needed to be replaced because the cords were showing, he did not pressure me to have them changed there, but recommended that I do not drive the car until I got new tires. I got a second opinion and the Lexus mechanics were on the spot. Very honest and considerate in not pressuring me to have them replaced at the dealership. Special recognition goes out to Al, who is the customer service rep I coincidentally end up working with during my visits. He is EXTREMELY helpful, professional, and efficient. My experience was with Jason in Sales. I was interested in upgrading my IS, either to a new 350 or a used IS-F. Jason was super friendly and helped me out a lot, it's only fair that i write him a review. I came in a couple times to the dealer, he showed me the new 350's but there was a black IS-F that caught my eye. He went over the features of the car as you'd expect any salesman to do, showed me a few cool things about it and then we discussed pricing. I passed on it because I was unsure what was happening with my car as far as selling it/trading it in went, and the car did belong to a smoker. While I waited on another good one to come in, Jason was constantly keeping in contact with me. He made sure I was still interested, and made sure i knew if anything that might interest me came in. Not many salespeople bother to keep up with you past a week or so. And if they do, its annoying phone calls every other day pestering you to come in and buy a car. Jason keeps in contact with his customers though, and does it in a professional manner. I passed on the upgrading this time, but if i ever decide to upgrade, I know Jason @ Crown Lexus is gonna be the first guy i call. Crown Lexus is THE go-to Lexus dealership! After a very unpleasant experience with the Lexus of Riverside, we decided to go to Crown Lexus because we were set on buying a new CT200h. We were greeted by Alex Ceballos, and let me tell you, he was GREAT. He understood our unpleasant experience at Riverside, and did his absolute best to make a deal in which we could do business with. He shared information about the car with us that Lexus of Riverside didn't. Alex worked hard to get us the price we wanted and he was so patient with us. Every time we asked for something, he would go talk to the manager, and he would work with us. We were also able to get a recent college graduate discount because of him, and a great price on the extended warranty. Alex told me that if I ever needed him, I could call his cellphone number anytime, any day, and he would help me with whatever. Everyone at Crown Lexus was very friendly and provided great customer service. The financial guy Jose was great, and their other staff (I think the sales guy's name was Robbie) was fantastic. If you're looking to buy a new Lexus, Alex is the guy for you! He will work to get your business. UPDATE: I wanted to leave a review for my guy Tony Hang at the service department! Tony sets THE standard for customer service, not just for the automotive service industry but in general! I had to take my car in to get some work done (loose door panels, 15000mi service, and weird engine noises) and I asked for Tony. He answered all of my questions, was very patient and informative, and he is VERY flexible. He goes out of his way to accommodate YOU, and what you need, and most importantly your schedule...you don't find that very often anywhere. I made an appointment a week prior to my appointment 5/28 and asked for a loaner car due to the fact I knew the work I was having done would take time. I was insured by Al not to worry I would have a Lexus loaner car. I arrived at my appointment 5/8 10:00am and was told by Tom R. That I would have to get a Enterprises rental for a recall that was being done,which I didn't bring my car in for this. I asked why the outside rental, he stated because of the recall I informed him I just needed what I brought the car in for fix. It's now 11:00am and I'm still waiting on a rental car. I finally found the car I wanted online (2013 RX450H at a reasonable price and the color I wanted) so I called Crown Lexus and spoke with Rob Barakzai to ensure that the car was still available. (I'm from San Diego so I wanted to make sure before I make the 1 1/2 hour drive). Rob Barakzai is great to work with. He made me an appointment for the test drive and hid the car on the roof overnight so that no one else can purchase it. Once I showed up, I took the car out for a test drive and purchased it. He had all the paperwork ready for a quick smooth transaction. Of course, once I got home, I noticed a small dent in the back and I called Rob Barakzai and he took care of it at no charge. He even threw in a full tank of gas and car wash for us having to drive back. All in all, I'm happy with the purchase and recommend anyone who is looking for a Lexus to shop at Crown Lexus. Tony Hang from Crown Lexus is the person you want to talk to when it comes to your maintenance or any issues on your Lexus! I was recommended to bring my car here by my cousin for my 5000 mile check up. Living in 626 I could have easily taken my car to Longo which was just down the road from where I live. However, based off of yelp reviews and personal experiences from friends and family, they said Longo is a dealer to just get the job done and nothing extra. Based off of others reviews I decided to to drive out to Crown Lexus on my day off for the check up. When I arrived Tony greeted me and informed that he is stumped with 3 customer ahead of me and should not take longer than 10 minutes. Being a smaller dealer I understood and gave him his time with the other customers. When Tony freed up, we started paper work and he was very informative that this check up was just for to make sure the car is running the way it should be. I have informed him that the breaks were squeaking and he told me he would have the technicians take a look. They took the car to the back and started to work on it. In the waiting room they have comp drinks, snacks, and a massage chair! Time flys when you are well relaxed. It was about 15 minutes in when Tony came to the waiting room to informed me that the squeaking was do to the break dust that accumulated over time. He took this experience to another level when he brought me to the back and I actually got to see professional technicians work on cleaning the break dust off the massive F break rotors! I felt really comfortable seeing and knowing that my car was in great hands. 20 minutes later my car was done, washed and brought to the front for pick up. Tony was communicating and informing me about every step and process throughout my experience. I highly recommend everyone come bring their Lexus to Crown Lexus for maintenance and ask for Tony! Let me start by saying going to a car dealership is on my list of least favorite things to do below getting a Root Canal. With that being said I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Service Department at Crown Lexus. I have been going there for about 5 years ever since I purchased our GX 470. My original service rep was Clayton Bramblett. This guy would bend over backwards to take care of all of our issues no matter how big or small. A good example is I had a situation where the drivers seat in our GX was a little crooked. It was slightly noticeable but for me it was a huge deal. Clayton went out of his way to call corporate and get them to swap out the seat. Clayton made me feel he was on my side and he would do what it took to make me, the customer, happy. Unfortunately for me, but great for him, Clayton was promoted to Service Department Manager. I immediately thought I was going to get handed off to someone who didn't care as much but I was pleasantly surprised when Clayton paired me with my new service rep, Tony Hang. Tony is the nicest guy and makes my feel like a king every time I come in for service no matter how big or small. So in my opinion the level of great service I get at Crown was not just that I got the one good person in the bunch but it is something that resonates through the whole department. 5 STRARS read more

One star for service check in process. I hate coming here for service but they are the closest Lexus to me. The check in is awkward. There is rarely anyone to greet you. I was absolutely lost the first time I came here. There was no one to greet me, no check in booth and a bunch of doors with no idea which one to go to. So this time I've been here 15 minutes and no one to greet me, other staff walking by not saying anything and time to write this review. I had a 5:3o appointment, no one else waiting and my car goes back at 5:55pm. Every time I come here I wait regardless of appointment time. I know it's late, but not even the snacks are out. Nothing springs excitement to me more than these two words "new car" Hell it could be you who's buying a new car and I get excited. I was set on a Lexus GS350 as my next car purchase and a friend of mine referred me over to Crown Lexus in Ontario, boy I'm glad I did. I spoke with the GM Doug Pearson who set my mind at ease and told me he would personally take care of me upon my arrival later that week. I arrived that weekend Doug greeted personally and assigned me his best salesman Ray Rasooli. Ray knew exactly what car I wanted since Doug gave him the heads up. We did the usual test drive, and then off to talk numbers. Negotiations on both sides was quick and we made a deal. Ray was very quick in making the deal, he doesn't go on and on trying to up sell you stuff in finance. Everything was easy. That's what I like, I don't like having to pack a lunch, get me out of there quick, and Crown delivered. I would not hesitate to recommend, Doug, Ray, and the entire staff at Crown Lexus. 5 STARS. I pulled up in a busted 94 Chevy S-10 that has its fair share of dents and scratches looking totally out of place at this dealership. I went there to look at a used Nissan Maxima that I seen in an ad. I was attended to very quickly and with nothing but respect. The sales man Patrick Reed was awesome. He pulled the Nissan up to my parked truck to it was closer to my mother who is handicapped so she didnt have to walk across the lot. He even helped my mother buckle her seat belt in the car. Once I decided that I loved the car and went inside to talk financing I was offered beverages and snacks. The entire process was pressure free and pleasant. Since I came into the dealership so late I had to wait until the next day to find out if I would qualify for the car and sure enough I recieved a phone call letting me know I got the car with the payments I wanted! When I arrived to finialize the papers the staff here made me feel like I was buying a top of the line Lexus even though I was buying a used Nissan from them. Jeff Knie who handled my financing paperwork was very professional and polite. Once in the dealership ever one I had talked to on the phone or in the dealership came to me to tell me congrats on the car. They also provided me with 3 sets of keys the original owners manuals and all the information they had for the car, kelly blue book, carfax etc. When I was ready to drive off they had the car parked out front freshly washed with a full tank of gas. I've been coming in to Crown Lexus for about 10 years now, mostly to bring in my family's cars for service. Everyone I've encountered at this location has been genuinely nice and very helpful. They make it a point to treat everyone as guests in their home as opposed to just "customers." I've never felt pressured into needless repairs or been talked down to because I happen to be a girl with minimal car knowledge. I recently came in to do some comparison shopping for a new car of my own and became instantly smitten with the new CT200h. While I'd only come in to inquire about certified pre-owned IS models, I got to talking with the salesman about what kind of car he drives and which Lexus model he'd most like to have. Of COURSE it just so happened to be the brand-spanking new hatchback hybrid of theirs, right? I've got to give it to these salespeople - they're very good at what they do. I was really leaning towards a cheaper, more practical car (I'd just visited John Elway's Toyota to test drive a Corolla) but the specs for the CT200h were too good to pass up, and the positive experiences I've had with this dealership in the past really tipped the scales in Lexus' favor. I'm thrilled with my new car and I'm actually looking forward to my scheduled services at Crown Lexus. How many people can say that about their dealership? read more

I have dealt with 4 different Lexus dealerships and I was shocked by the horrible experience I received by the Internet sales team. I talked to R*** and B****. I am in the market for a GS 350, I am pre-approved through my credit union and ready to complete a deal. The complication, I live in Nevada. The ask from your dealership, cash up front. R*** did not call back, B**** in my opinion needs to learn a bit about "customer experience" to meet my expectations for Lexus. Needless to say, no deal, no call backs and you still have inventory of the car I desire. But I guess you have too much business to need mine. Way to go Crown Lexus, my first ever poor Lexus experience! Update: Someone did call and followed up. So that is worth an extra star. The vehicle I called on was sold and they did not have anything that matched my specifications, so I was not motivated to call back. This review is for an interaction I had with some salespeople over the phone. I was recently in a car accident and needed to replaced my completely WRECKED car ASAP. I didn't want to drive all around SoCal to find the best deals so I called around to a bunch of places. The salespeople that answered the phone were really professional and helpful in answering my questions BUT they provided me one of the highest quotes out of the 10 places I called. Most of the other dealerships were able to offer me quotes for a very specific car under MSRP but this dealership did not. I was straight up with them about the other offers I received but they didn't budge in their price. It could be that they didn't have many of the specific car I was looking for in stock (I'm not sure why they were more expensive). Bought my Lexus privately, took it in for regular service. Tony was friendly, professional and informative. He told me that my update would take 3 hours and asked if I wanted a loaner.
