Called the one on 57th to order some burgers at 6:28. All sites say open u til 7:00. I was told can you be here in 5-10 minutes, said no because of drive but can be there by 6:50. Was told no because they are gone by 7:00. That's not what you sell your closing time to be. I have been getting burgers here since they opened years ago. The used to have the best burgers and malts in town. My last couple of visits have been disappointing. Last time the burger was cold and not very tasty. I picked up abiut 10 minutes after ordering so should not have been cold. Today I stopped for a malt. It was runny, not enpugh ice cream. read more

I go in to order 30 minutes or so before 7(when they close) I know going in 30 minutes till close bad, but I got off later then I was suppose to. But I was going in expecting the great customer service I got in the past. Ans I was hit with are you here for a pickup order? No hi, how are you? I brushed it off. And said no I need to place an order. The lady said oh no we are closing in five minutes.... I said oh? Thought yall were open till 7. She said no ,we are short staffed. Food tasted like it was made yesterday. Onion rings were chewy, not crisp. Burger and rings were done in less than 2 minutes, not freshly cooked. I don't live in Temple and I decided to visit Crows after a 10+ year absence. The parking lot is still a hot mess since they only offer carry out and they don't have a drive-up window. Despite that, my order was ready in 10 minutes. I got the cheeseburger combo with onion rings - I was charged .40 cents for a "custom item" since I went with those instead of fries. Overall, the onion rings cost $4. They were really good, but you get very little for the price (the pic is missing the two I scarfed down!). When I unwrapped the burger, it was unapologetically glistening with grease. I blotted and tasted and....still pretty darn good. Overall, my cheeseburger, rings and a medium drink cost $13.12 before tip. If you crave unhealthy, tasty burgers, Crows is your place... if you can handle the hassle of parking. read more

First time here. The facility is very clean, the staff is welcoming and well trained, and the menu is sizable, but centered around hamburgers and niche sandwiches. My combo double cheeseburger, freshly dropped fries and drink was cheaper than many fast food offerings, but was easily three to four times the quality. The meat on my burger had amazing texture and flavor and they use high quality buns. Best hamburger I've had in years. The onion rings and fries were prepared on the spot and were too easy to eat. A great spot for burgers in Temple, TX! The burgers at Crow's remind me of everything I love about burgers at home on the grill - flavorful beef patties with delicious crispy edges, soft buns, & fresh vegetables. I also really like their fries. The only downside is that there is no indoor seating, so your options are the outdoor table or to take it to go. I've always had a good experience here. read more

BELTON LOCATION This place used to be the bee's knees. The patty's weren't quite as thin as they are now, they had some kick, prices were reasonable and the employees were kind. I drove up to order, realized I forgot my wallet and told the very kind lady at the window (who was obviously new) that I would be back because I forgot my wallet to which she offers to get my order started while I go get my wallet. Since it was going to be an order for several people I told her no worries and I would just go get it and come back to which another lady (supervisor it is presumed) practically pushes her over at the window and yells at me with the worst attitude obviously not hearing anything I just said "we can't do that. We don't take orders until people are here to pay. You make an order you pay right then." She was incredibly rude to a customer and to her employee. Hamburgers are a dime a dozen throughout town. You can find one with a decent amount of meat for less money and service that is much better. read more

Well, I went to Jody's, and thought they were the shiznit. Then I tried Crow's, and well, they're the shiznit too. I was delighted with the burgers + onion rings here, although you'll pay a little more at Crow's. Their burgers are about $0.80 more, and there are several upcharges for extras on your burger. Their onion rings are well seasoned here, $2 for a large, but you don't get nearly as much here as you would at Jody's. Fries here are a thicker cut, and lesser quantity too. So if you're on a budget or looking for quantity, then you'll be happy with Jody's. If you're looking for slightly better quality, more seasoning on the onion rings and burgers, and don't mind the lesser portions for more pay, then I'd say Crow's is your place. So IMHO: Crow's = 4.5 stars; Jody's = 4.25 stars. read more

Crow's used to have the best hamburgers. When we wanted a good hamburger that's where we went. This last time it was atrocious. The hamburgers were cold and my onion rings were burnt and looked like they had sat for days. This happened the time before last. When I called in our order this time I told the lady about the burnt onion rings. She was very apologetic. Yet when we picked up our order, the onion looked just like before. I stopped here a few weeks ago after passing by it for years. Woman @ the counter was very sweet. I related it was my initial visit & she started to say they had the best burgers in town but, slowly withdrew as probably not wanting to sound cheezy. She should have shouted from the rooftop as, their burger was to die for. It wasn't greasy at all & very freshly made. It was a PERFECT cheese burger. Each bite was a complete bite meaning with each bite I didn't have to drag out any of the fixings. The fries were homemade and perfectly seasoned. The onions rings too were perfectly seasoned &, as the burger, each bite was also a complete bite. No dragging out the whole onion from these puppies. My meal was even fresh-tasting hours later as, it wasn't all eating in one sitting. Crow's Burgers will be my go-to place in this area going forward. read more
