The place will have drunks, A-holes, people that spill drinks on your toes and themselves... if you wrote a negative review, upset about the scene or some old guy trying to hit on you, your sleep number must be 2, because you are soft! the Bartenders are nice as they come. Don't expect your cocktails to taste like they are supposed to and some of the bartenders are very rude; prices for the drinks are also not cheap. My friend ordered whiskey on the rocks and a lemon drop martini the lemon drop martini tasted nothing like lemon AND the whiskey taste like rubbing alcohol over ice; the bartender would not make another one she stated we would need to pay for it even though we didn't drink it; it was unpalatable- not going back mostly bc of the lack of customer service; Too many other cool places to go to to waste my time there. read more

LMFAO I cannot believe the Crow is on Yelp. I admit I initially hated this place. Yes, it does appeal to a certain crowd, (see Shawns review) I have older friends who love this place and I would tag along sometime. If you are in your 20's and want an ego boost it's not so bad. This is like the granddaddy of all dive bars. We tried looking for a place to watch fireworks on the 4th of July and ended up having to head back home and find a bar that was open on a holiday. At first it didn't look open but lo an behold, someone left the door unlocked! Lots of locals, a jukebox and well drinks are only 6 bucks (on the regular!) Love the vibe of this place and as my friend claimed, the people that go there "go there to get drunk" - what else could you ask for? Love this place! read more

We walked in, sidled up to the bar and grabbed a seat. Two sips into my bourbon, I leaned over to my boyfriend and said, "I HATE this place." I felt like Luke Skywalker at the Cantina. Everyone was really unwelcoming in a totally lethargic way. There are two kinds of drunks. There are fun drunks who can hold their liquor, be cool, still excel at a game of darts and spin a good yarn. You'll find them at the Foxfire in the Valley. Then there are the drunks who either are or soon will be tailed by an "Intervention" camera crew. They're depressing. And they don't know they're depressing. They think everyone's amused by their antics. They think they can stop anytime, man, you don't know them. Guess which drunks are here? I've rarely been so skeeved out by a crowd. I chugged my drink and we walked out the door, cursing the fact that Crow's looks way cooler on the outside than it actually is. We cursed the fact that it was a total disappointment. From the outside this place looked pretty creepy. I pictured dirty old men and a bartender named "Marge" that smelled like cigarettes. We cracked open the door and it was really dark. We didn't want to go in to find out what was lurking in the shadows so we ran to the next bar. Well, the next bar was empty and boring so we decided to be adventurous and go back to Crow's. Once inside, we noticed that the place is very small but it had a great looking bar. The whole set up with the mirrors all over the room was pretty cool. The best part was the large crow they had hanging from the ceiling of the bar. There were a couple of old men sitting at the bar but they weren't too dirty. The bartender's name wasn't "Marge" but I'm pretty sure she was a stripper at night by the things she was talking about. She was kind of rude but it was sort of fun messing around with her. The drinks were stiff and cheap. The place has a digital juke box, which is always a plus for us. The best part was the bartender gave us quarters to play whatever songs we wanted! Overall, I think this place is worth checking out at least once if you are into the dive bar scene. read more

This place is like walking into a cave filled with old men, cougars and 1 bar tender. On the plus side, the bar tenders are heavy handed! It is a nice break from the 2nd street bars if you get sick of them, but who would get sick of good music, cheap drinks and fun people? If you are coming down to Belmont / Naples for the night and want to find a fun bar to go to with your friends to let loose a little, this is probably not the place for you. If you're looking for a change of pace, with the rare ability to meet people to compare your hard life to and swap sob stories, then go here. read more

What can I say about the Crow? They have super friendly staff and they welcome you like one of their own! Also, they pour STRONG drinks! Cool crowd, lively atmosphere! What I took a star off for was that there's limited parking and the drinks are a bit pricier than what I'm used to. 11 bucks for 2 imported beers? Meh. Crow's is just ok. I've been here about 4 times, 2 of which were before Big Hair Big Butt Rollerskating Extravaganza, and it's been fun- but nothing spectacular. It's pretty long and skinny (sounds funny, but if you go, you'll see what I mean), so if it's crowded you have to slash through people to get to either the front or the back, and the bathroom is TINY. The one thing I did adore was the ponytail of the bartender. He ever-so delicately put rubberbands every couple of inches down the delicious length of his man-tail. read more

When you enter off of 2nd street you might be temporaily blind due to the darkness of the place. But hey, doesn't everyone look just a little bit better in the dark? Once your sight comes back it's apparent that this is just a small neighborhood bar placed geniously next to a couple other bars. Location is perfect. Never too crowded and you don't get the wanderers who mosey in off a main strip. Kristen as the bartender adds a nice touch to the place, Making drinks and small talk with the customers is a bartenders primary job, and she does it well. If you're not for the crowded, obnoxious bar scene that's all too common around town, get here quick. It's a comfortable feel at home kinda place. I'm a regular for sure!! read more

3 people occupied the bar when I ventured into the Crow's Nest. Since it was a shift change, the bartenders almost outnumbered the patrons. The bartenders exchanged colorful commentary about other bartenders, which was quite entertaining. The drinks were stiff and you can tell that if you hang out long enough, things will continue to get weirder and weirder. Naples has this odd mix of people, and although I've only been there once, I have a feeling that the Crow's Nest attracts them all. It has an upscale yet grimy and dark feel to it. You may meet a movie star or a fisherman or a hatchet killer, depending on your luck. read more

Pretty much all of the negative reviews of this place are true; and there are days where I just wouldn't be in the mood for hanging at Crowe's. But under the category it is -- dive bars -- Crowe's is a great one. Inexpensive, strong drinks, & friendly service. Mixed feelings about the Crow! I live down the street so I find myself here every once in a while. Most of the time it is a locals spot with an older crowd however the younger crowd will come out Friday nights. Staff is always on top of it and very attentive. I have been drinking at crows for years now. I started when I was 21 and it was very different then. Back in 02 the place was dark, played great music and had an all around classier crowd. The only time that this bar got really rowdy was late at night, and I was 3 to 4 drinks in so it really did not matter. I walked into crows with my buddy Miles that actually took me there for the very first time. We walked in and there was Top 40 music blaring with people screaming, five televisions making it incredibly bright, and a bitching bartender to boot. The only thing that had not really changed were the strong drinks. I am not saying that it is a bad bar, I am just making the point that it is not the clam, sit and have a drink, and not have to yell over the music place that it once was. read more

So, we are 2 for 2 in post-company-christmas-after-parties here. Last year, the bartender tried fleecing us by jacking up the credit card bill to over $600. This year, one of the patrons gave a corker a bloody nose, and the bartender locked several patrons out by locking the front door. So, I thought I'd branch out and seek other cool little bars tucked away here in Long Beach. I drive past this place all the time and the sign outside with the little crow makes this place seem so inviting and quaint...The only cool thing about this place was the cheap, stiff drink I drank very quickly so I could leave. Boy was I wrong. Uhhhh...(so I'm sorry if I offend anyone but, here it goes) This place is for all the old peeps who live close by in Belmont Shore/ Naples. The decor/ ambiance is soooo dated- in a bad-1970's-cheap disco sort of way. The music selection in the juke box is also lame (one of those digital ones that looks like a glowing ATM). The soundtrack to the 20 minutes I spent there was not fun either. To each his own, I know, but if you're at a dive bar, at least have the cheezy bar music that everyone can enjoy and tolerate, like Hotel California. That's kinda what you may expect from a bar of this sort. Nope. Not here. Instead, obscure Creed sound-alikes and possibly Soundgarden, mixed with a bit of Kelly Clarkson to appeal to the college kids that may stroll in from time-to-time. It's outta the way all tucked at the edge of Belmont Shore away from the young peeps for a reason. Bad company (not the band), bad music, bad location, bad mood. Okay.....DEAD is a good word to describe this bar. Went on a Saturday night there were about 6 people in there and 3 of them worked there. We decided to get a drink and hang out until we decided on our next destination, but the vibe was overall weird so we decided and drank fast! I stayed down in Long Beach for a couple of nights this past weekend and this nice little dive bar was just a 5-minute drive from my hotel. After driving past it, I figured I'd check it out and I very impressed. The crowd there was very nice. The bartenders were super friendly. I forget her real name, but the bartender there that goes by the nickname of "baby" is awesome! I had such a great time there on Saturday night, that I even stopped in there for a little bit Sunday night, before driving back to Burbank, and I'll definitely stop in there again the next time I'm in that area. read more

not much to do at this bar besides sit around and stare at each other since theres no darts, pool tables, or standing room really haha but if you want a good stiff drink thats pretty affordable at the end of the night it's not bad. Such a wonderful classy and clean dive bar that sits among some wonderful places to eat. Great selection of alcohol. Drinks are fairly priced and poured extremely well. Clean, clean, clean ...did I say clean? Dark, cool and chill. Friendly patrons, and very interactive bartenders. Loved the fact that they just started carrying Country Smooth Whiskey and can make some great signature cocktails. The Bar: This place is a classic little dive nestled in the heart of Naples on 2nd street. A long narrow establishment with a couple of tables along the right wall, the bar, which seats roughly 10 heads, and some more seating in the back. There is a backdoor area in the alley for smoking, no drinks though, and you have to keep the noise level down due to the neighbors. This bar reminded us exactly of the Fling in Santa Ana, however, this bar is kept up a lot more. Freddy the bartender told us that the owner here is dedicated to running a clean and well maintained business. Freddy also runs his own carpet cleaning business, which caters to Crow's on the regular. This place is spectacular on the cleanliness scale. Certainly one of the most upper class dives we've been to. Parking: The parking lot was fenced off with a sign that read "Under Construction"...however, no work was being constructed. The only available parking is on the street, and if you have ever been on 2nd street on a weekend, you know this is a difficult task. We recommend cabbing it to this spot. The Crowd: Not too much going on this evening. Few locals scattered around, and the handful wild drunks in the back. It was nice to be welcomed as new faces for a change. Service: Outstanding. Our bartender tonight was Freddy. We did not test his "speed" with the 2 beers we ordered, but his business card says "Fast Freddy". His specialty drink is the Washington Apple. Prices: Not very dive bar like in this category. Sure, Coors Light was the normal $3.50, but $7 for a single pour of Fireball is freakin ridiculous. We left after 4 beers and 2 shots. Entertainment: Not too much for entertainment... a TouchTunes Jukebox and 5 TV's, and the ever so popular 2nd street drunks outside. Restroom: The bartender swore this was the cleanest of any dive... we agree. It was fabulous Closing statement: Stick to beer here, liquor is overpriced, but at least try the Purple People Eater. Minus the price of Fireball, overall, great bar and we'll likely see this place again in the near future. We were told, the crowd usually pours in around 11pm on weekends. read more

But lately all the great bartenders have been replaced by bitchy women bartenders who overcharge you especially if you use credit cards! They make awful drinks and could care less! Unlike Paul, I will have to give this place 2 stars. We first found this place post college as I worked in the Casino and Paul had yet to goto Berklee. I guess the only reason I give it two stars is because you can go in and have nobody bother you. Also they have like pretty much every Frank Sinatra song on the jukebox so you can sing your sorrows away. It is also walking distance from my friends house so we don't have to drive. There are way too many over weight cougers at this place and every night this crazy looking dude with a rainbow colored beanie. He also wears a lot of denim.
