It's nice to have a Crumbl in Alexandria. It's Crumbl so if you are familiar, you know they have a weekly rotation of cookies. I think it's pretty cool the flavors alternate weekly. The employees I interacted with were nice and pleasant. The store is really cute, I love the color scheme of the store. I recently tried a key lime pie cookie, it was ok. We just finished our box of four cookies from Crumbl Kingstowne's Grand Opening. They were large so they took a while to finish, so I would objectively say they're a good value for the money given the size. Overall a good cookie with different flavor varieties. My issue is with the business practices of the franchise owners. They expressed to local newspapers that there would be free mini cookie samples of different cookie flavors and a raffle while supplies lasted on the grand opening day (see screenshot of FFXNOW paper and Patch with their quote). I read this and thought it would be a fun albeit early event to attend with a kiddo indoors during the hot summer. I told my toddler about it beforehand and got her up early to make sure we were there right when the store opened. I went inside and asked about the free mini cookie samples, and was looked at like I was crazy. The woman behind me asked about the raffle and the manager came over and he didn't know anything about it. My frustration isn't about a lack of samples or a raffle, they're not necessary and that's not what I'm annoyed with. My disappointment is promising something to get customers in the door, and not following through. We made a point of getting up early to be there for the grand opening event, we were there at 8:00 AM on the dot, so there's no way we missed it. The people that work here are among the most sassy and disrespectful people ever. From when I walked in I was greeted with eye rolls from 3 of the employees, so it wasn't off to a good start. I stood there waiting for someone to take my order because I had cash, and no one came for a long time. After I place my order, one of the employees screamed my name, and as I walked up she walked up, shoved the cookie box in my face, and just walked off. The cookie that I received was also messed up in addition to being undercooked. The kitchen area was also really messy and looked dirty. So overall, I do NOT recommend getting your cookies at this location, there are several other places you can get your treats in! read more

So many staff working at this location, yet nothing is ever available and you usually don't find out until after paying and waiting, but then they bring your box over and just say they are out of 3 of the 6 cookies you order with no suggestions of what you can do/get instead. I also don't like that they'll put a hot cookie right next to a cold one because I didn't even make it out of the parking lot before all the whipped cream on one melted and got all over the other cookies. It was a mess! While this place is pretty clean and fast, and the staff aren't necessarily rude... but they are just not the brightest. Sorry for the rough review, but as way overpriced for what you get at this place, I just expect more. I went on Friday and the line was sort of long but it went pretty quickly. I liked the selection they had as I'm a snickerdoodle fan. I've had crumbl cookie once before so I decided to give it another shot. Once I order my cookies it took less than a minute for them to call my order. The parking was easy. There is a chik fila next door so it tends to be busy either way. I didn't really interact with any staff members so I can't comment on customer service but they all seemed very welcoming. read more

It was my second time at this location and both times I had to wait more than 20 minutes for the cookies. The 3rd time did it for me! I waited for more than 30 minutes. Everyone who ordered after me got their order before me. Apparently, the staff put the wrong name on my order since I know for a fact that the name on my order already got hers. I asked the staff (not one but 3 of them) to check on my order and they just looked at me like I was bothering them! Not friendly at all. Definitely not going back to the Alexandria location. This is my local Crumbl, and I feel very fortunate about that because they never disappoint. Whether I am partial to the flavors offered that week or not, I know I can always depend on this store to make them correctly, efficiently, and beautifully. The store also always feels well staffed, even when they're busy. Wait times can build up a bit depending on what time you go (watch out for weekend evenings!), but the store clearly does their best to anticipate peak times. In my personal experience, I've never had a terrible wait time to pick up an order. I've also had more than a few nice interactions with the bakers, who are consistently polite and often friendly.
