    Casear salad

I went there last saturday for dinner. I am just visiting that area and nearby area. 1) Decor is very beautiful, like an italian restaurant in Italy. For small town's restaurant, they put a lot of effort on it. Totally admired. Very nice. 2) Husband ordered some chicken pasta special, very good. I ordered meat ball spaghetti and also caesar salad. Very good. 3) Not that busy on saturday night. 4) waiter is very nice, one person working in the "bar" area, maybe she is owner. Super nice also. Highly recommended.

Updated to reflect the correct cheese below! My boyfriend made reservations here while we were on vacation. First it is located in the heart of downtown Angels Camp. A cute little strip that takes you back in time. Street Parking was easy at night as most of the shops are closed. The staff here anticipate your needs and are efficient and kind. We started with bread and the Burrata and prosciutto appetizer. While tasty, the pieces of Burrata were small and it was overwhelmed by the lettuce and arugula. When the main portion of the appetizer has this name you do expect a bit more of it. That was the only miss of the night. Both the seafood fettuccine and fettuccine Alfredo were delicious. We ordered the special dessert to go. It was a peach cheesecake. It was ok but wish we would have ordered their more traditional desserts of crème brûlée or tiramisu. We will have to try them next visit. Overall a nice quiet dinner that left us satisfied!

Perfect date night restaurant for Italian food and good service. Baked brie was good as expected, with all the yummy fixins. Polenta antonella was creamy and flavorful and very cheesy. It's not what I would usually get at an Italian restaurant but it was worth it! You can also get vegetarian versions of the polenta, but I need meat on mine! For dessert, I had the tiramisu-which was perfect.

I had the Baked Brie which I thought was pretty darn good with the toasted bread that accompanied it. I opted for the Jambalaya. It wasn't bad but there were only two pieces of shrimp and I thought they over used the pepper. Otherwise it was alright. The service was acceptable. I had a taste of the spaghetti and meatballs and was impressed with the meatballs. Seems to me they use veal as it was so moist and flavorful. It came with four smallish meatballs. The building was old as this is Angels Camp after all. I did like the interior. I'd come back and try something different.

Chicken and tortellini with added sausages

This was seriously some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten!! We ordered to-go, and the wonderful girl over the phone was not only nice, but she seemed to love her job! We ordered two of the chicken tortellini and got one without mushrooms, and ordered hot sausage on the side for hubby to add sausage to his. We also got a side of focaccia bread and when dipped in the vinegar/oil mix: holy yum!! The last thing we ordered was the baked brie which was the absolute best! It comes with an amazing orange sauce reduction, sliced pears, cranberries and walnuts, and crispy sliced bread.. all I can say is WOW!! This place did not disappoint! even taking it to go, we got back to our hotel and everything was still warm and amazingly delicious! Don't delay!! Eat there NOW! The restaurant itself looks like a fun and friendly place to sit and eat, calm and relaxed.

We had our anniversary dinner here in Angels Camp. It's a very lovely restaurant with a San Francisco vibe. The food was delicious and the wait staff very attentive. We had a cheddar cheese fondue start. The special was a huge pork chop, which my husband selected. I had the steak. Both were well prepared and the presentation was beautiful. The atmosphere was inviting for the occasion. We sat next to the fireplace with just the right amount of lighting. We don't drink wine but they had quite the list. We had the hard apple cider instead. It was very much like champagne. If you want a little getaway for a special occasion and don't want the crowded, dirty streets of San Francisco, come here!

Visited Angels Camp California for the first time, and this restaurant was highly recommended. The entire Main St. was shut down (around 6 pm. on a Sunday) except for this restaurant, it seemed. Staff was friendly, and our waiter laughed at our bad jokes - bless him, lol. The food was excellent! We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, seafood fettuccine, and the ahi appetizer special, and everything was cooked well and very flavorful. We had to order the tiramisu to go, and it was heavenly. It's definitely recommended if you are ever in the Angels Camp/ Murphy California area!

Ask for Colleen [5] - The Chefs made me their Neptune Fettucine - the cream sauce was perfectly cheesey and thick and I ordered extra fresh pepper just because - the scallops, shrimp and crab were ALL perfectly tender, expertly sautéed and seasoned. For dessert, Colleen sold me on the Bread Pudding with fresh berries and cream drizzle and a cup of coffee for the road. What I love best about Crusco's is hearing laughter from the kitchen - Life is crummy some days, but hearing joy from the kitchen reassures me Cooks love preparing excellent meals over a hot stove. Very comfortable family-style, relaxed gold country flair - Looking forward to my return trip to Angel's Camp and Crusco's.

By far my favorite new brunch/ lunch spot! Service was great atmosphere was beautiful felt a little on vacation to Italy! Beautiful paintings and art! Food! Calamari was better than Ruth's steak house and my ahi tuna and salad was so good that this will be my regular visit with the drive worth it! Omelette was delicious my picky hubby said so that's great we also had the mimosas yum!

There's a handful of seats inside, but most of the action happens outside on the porch hence "Porch Cafe," of course. You order at the register, grab a number, and pick your spot. The decor is rustic and cozy in the best way. Total charm overload. The menu's right there by the register, and they've got sandwiches and salads, exactly what we were craving. Sandwiches come in full or half sizes, and I went with the half. It comes with a side, and I picked the Pesto Mac. It did not disappoint. I could've made a full meal out of just that. Drink-wise, they've got a solid lineup, alcoholic and non. I went full nostalgia with a Shirley Temple, and if you're a plain-water person, there's a self-serve station for that too. Our food came out fast, and the portions floored us, that "half" sandwich was anything but small. Generous doesn't even cover it. The staff sealed the deal - friendly all around, from the woman who took our order to whoever swung by to check on us and box up our leftovers. Such a gem for a laid-back lunch. Highly recommend!

Even though it was late on a Tuesday the patio was still busy. We got a nice table outside because it was a beautiful day and we had our GSD with us. Shared the beet salad and the chicken burrito and also a kids hamburger with fries for the pup ( fries were for us). PROTIP: We took the option to split each dish by the kitchen and although it cost a couple bucks more, you get a little more of everything! Beet salad was solid with perfect allocations of all ingredients. I would say it was a bit heavy on the dressing but I like minimal dressing and my partner said it was perfect so there you go. The burrito was "wet" and delicious! Lots of flavor fresh ingredients and very saucy. Only thing it lacked was a little heat. Ask for tapatio if you like a little spice. The hamburger by the way, was larger than a normal hamburger you get on the kiddie menu. And the fries were piping hot and fresh. Our dog loved the burger as he should and we downed all the fries. When the dish was placed before me the bread slid to the other side of the white dish that had no other accompanying garnish like a piece of lettuce or parsley. This dish was hardly appetizing as it was covered by three slices of very crispy bacon which fell to the side, revealing about four microscopic chips of tomato and 4 of avocado. The avocado was over ripe and black and I could barely see the yellow tomato. I was very disappointed in the visual appearance of this dish, to say the least! And the ingredients were barely present to illicit any flavor. I was given silverware, but upon trying to cut the toast the whole thing fell apart. I pieced it together and used my hands. Now, I know fresh food items are expensive, but this item in no way warranted the price of $16.75! I do not recommend this very busy, seemingly popular eatery.
