    Cobbler dessert and crème brûlée

Crush was amazing! Best restraunt in Chico from what I ate. Food was crafted with great flavors and complexity. Ambiance is clean and sleek, the AC was pumping which was nice on a hot day. Service was average but wasn't expecting to much. Thank you for taking care of our large group. Will be back when I'm in Chico again!

I've dined at Crush before. But that was years ago! I went there recently and thought it was time to share my thoughts! The atmosphere of the restaurant is busy, yet you don't feel packed in like a sardine, or overwhelmed by all the hustle and bustle of servers and customers moving around. My party and I sat down and we were immediately served chilled water from a fancy bottle. They gave us these fancy-looking, small glasses. Loved that! And then we ordered soft drinks - asked for Coke. It was fine, but we got it in bottles. Not that I don't like drinking a bottled Coke every now and then, I just would've preferred it from the fountain machine. Anyway, they gave us larger glasses with ice to better enjoy the soda. We ordered appetizers - Bruschetta and Meatballs. They arrived quickly and were phenomenally exquisite. I just wish the portions were slightly bigger because they were gone like that! Bread used for the Bruschetta was light and crunchy - how I like it! And the fresh tomatoes and vinegar really impressed me. Meatballs were also excellent - high-quality meat and delicious tomato sauce and everything was appropriately seasoned. Out of curiosity, and because we were still hungry, we ordered a pizza. It was a slightly above average pizza - nothing to write home about. I probably wouldn't order it again, but it was worth trying. For our main courses, we all ordered steaks. They were all cooked how we had requested them and cut like butter. The mashed potatoes we got with them were kind of bland - not much flavor or texture. And I feel that for the price, maybe a side salad could've also accompanied the steak. Our server, while friendly, was very slow and we seemed invisible to him at times. This was the part of our dining experience that really upset us. Overall, Crush is still a worthy restaurant to try if you're a Chico resident or are ever in this city. I would love to go back, mainly because I want to try some of the other appetizers and even a dessert or two. Someone at our table had a birthday, so I got to try some of the free dessert they gave.

First off this place is beautiful and elegant. We had the opportunity to sit on the balcony with the view of downtown Chico while the sun was setting! The weather was perfect and the service was excellent. Our waiter suggested drinks for us and breakfast and oil was brought out to us. Loved the cute touch with the restaurants bake in the oil. We started off with Brussels sprouts and the shrimp arrbbiata. The appetizer set the standard for the meal and these did not disappoint! The Brussels sprouts were crispy and crunchy yet sweet and salty! The shrimp was placed on a thick sourdough bread that was so soft by the lemon garlic butter that the fork easily cut into it! This dish lemon scampi sauce was so delicious I need the recipe asap!! For entree we ordered lobster ravioli that has a form cream lobster reduction that was so creamy and buttery! The ravioli was perfectly cooked and soft! Probably the best lobster ravioli I've had! The second entree was the shortrib ragu and the rib meat were tender and the pasta soft! The burrata cheese on top pulled all the flavors together! This is such a cute place with great views and great service!

I really enjoyed the chicken Parmesan at Crush. The cheese was perfectly melted with just a touch of browning, and I could still taste the crunch of the breaded chicken underneath. I also loved the balsamic vinegar served with the bread. It had a hint of sweetness that set it apart from others, and I appreciated the beautiful pattern they made with it before adding olive oil. The Brussels sprouts were delicious too, with a soft inside and a perfectly crisp outer layer. The restaurant has a lovely patio for outdoor seating as well as spacious indoor dining areas. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and attentive, regularly checking in on us.

Chicken parm. Very delish. Menu is seasonal...but all delish. Enjoy

Can I bring my quiet 20 month old little puppy to the rooftop?

Hi, I stopped by the restaurant earlier this year and Happy Hour was not going on anymore. Has your famous Happy Hour started back up? 4-6pm, right? Please let me know at your earliest convenience.

Mari! We have restarted our happy hour. It goes from 4:30-5:30pm Wednesday-Sunday :)

Do you need to be 21 to eat here? Or do you need to be with someone that is 21?

No, you do not need to be 21

At 1630 when the dining room is open the full menu is served. May be a bit loud, but it is full dinner service.

Do they allow food to go?

I have brought home leftovers, and they offer delivery so i wouls think so.

What time is regular happy hour?

    Everyday 3:30-6:30pm.

Yelp states that crush offers delivery. Is this true?

Contact https://www.entree-express.net/. The restaurant itself does not deliver.

Did you still have late night happy hour? If so what time?

Thursday 9 to 11 pm Friday 10 pm to 12 am and Saturday 10 pm to 12 am.

I know, I know, its a…read morecollege town, don't gripe about the college kids... but holy hell its nice to hang out with the grown ups sometimes! A couple of tips for the newbie adult headed to this VIP lounge: 1) Make sure to get your booty up there prior to 9pm (after 9pm there is a $10 cover charge) 2) $10 isn't going to break the bank, I get it however, it IS a key bit of info so take it for what its worth. (Its worth ten bucks, ha!) Make sure that if you should arrive before 9, like for happy hour, and stay after 9, that your given a wrist band so you can wander from floor to floor without having to pay the entry fee 3) If you get there prior to 9pm and have a person or people you actually want to speak (and not yell at) the music is at a normal level so carrying a conversation is tres easy. Beware, after 9pm they PUMP up the volume so be prepared to yell your conversation after that time frame kicks in 4) And speaking of 'tres' this bar is tres chic, there is a ton of cozy seating, you can go find a booth which is semi private or go more public and choose a table out in the open (along with more cozy seats) 5) They have an 'L' shaped pool table, very weird but very cool and ultra different. I've never seen one quite like it anywhere else 6) The martini selection is pretty tasty (see my pix) and the prices are right up my alley (marginally priced and well worth it) 7) The absolute BEST part of my experience here at the VIP Ultra Lounge was Stephanie. The adorable, extra friendly bartender/waitress, literally, the best little thing located upstairs. Her personality ROCKED. She gave me mini tour and being that it was my first time here, while she toured, she explained all the bars (total of 4), their highlights and best times to have fun at each of them. Seriously treated me in TOTAL VIP fashion, what a gem!! The cool thing about this bar is that its connected to 3 other totally different (un-VIP, just made up that word) bars. So... if you get tired of being a snobby VIP, you can take your wasty face downstairs and kick it with the college kids. Good thing #8... if your walking sideways and acting like a drunk monkey, you'll blend right in :) Dance, scratch your butt, do a shot then fall on the floor, hey! Have a good time!

I get that Chico isn't used to paying much of a cover charge at all, but I'd rather pay a cover and go somewhere gorgeous, comfortable & clean. I used to love the Bear & LaSalles, but you go there after a few drinks because otherwise you'd never get past the smell and in the door. You can smell them from outside. Yuck. Other than harping on the fantasticness of a clean place- my husband has enjoyed his drinks there as well, we've had tacos and a steak/gorganzola pizza during happy hour- all good stuff. And that explains why I'm headed there in 40 minutes to celebrate the end of my work week!

Sunlight danced across playfully colored walls, instantly making the space feel welcoming and alive. Innovative and classic cocktails are offered alongside beer and a modest wine selection. The mocktails looked wonderfully thirst-quenching, but my soul was calling for an orange wine. It served its purpose quite nicely. The menu centers on healthier bar food options, and the intention comes through beautifully. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully sourced, and lovingly prepared rather than simply assembled. The offerings lean playful, with subtle Asian influences that keep things interesting. Our group chose to lean in on the more indulgent side of the menu. The rice tots? Unexpected, whimsical, and absolutely worthy of sharing, crispy little conversation starters. We enjoyed this starter with a little bowl of seasoned mixed nuts. But let's discuss the pastrami sandwich. A glorious indulgence layered with melty cheese, kimchi slaw, and piled onto a locally baked brioche bun. Restraint was simply not invited to this meal. My dinner companions opted for the cheeseburger and were completely delighted. Classic in concept, but elevated in execution, right down to the burger sauce, which struck that elusive perfect balance of tangy, savory, and craveable. And the fries? Skinny, McDonald's-style (yes, that's a compliment), with exactly the right crunch and seasoning. Roselle manages that lovely balancing act of feeling casual yet intentional, playful yet polished. A very happy little find in Chico, California.

We ordered the avocado toast, chicken sandwich, a beer, and a sweet drink, and the total came to about $72. Everything was perfectly fine, just not the kind of food or experience that would make me want to return, especially for a birthday celebration. We had kids with us, so we got there an hour before it became 21+. Everyone was friendly, the food came pretty quick relative to how hopping it was. We ordered: Pho-rench dip (w/fries)--I think this was a DDD sandwich, so it's not some hidden gem, but it was super tasty. You cannot go wrong. The slight lime-iness of the dipping broth really kicked it into turbo. Also, we all likes the steak fries--a note on that later. Chicken Cheese Steak (w/fries)--my wife loved it. I tried a bite, and it was great--a little mushroom-forward, but we like that. Mac and Cheese--do not be fooled by the slightly smaller bowl, it is very filling. My son can eat his birth weight in pasta, and he had to tap out! I tried a bite--it was creamy (not grainy at all), and was just the right amount of salty and cheese-funky. Grilled cheese and tomato soup (w/fries)--perhaps the least successful for my family, but only because my daughter prefers a smoky/spicy tomato soup, and this was more on the sweet side. The griled cheese was of the "crispy cheese on the outside" ilk, which my daughter thought was really good. So, totally would go again. IMPORTANT NOTE (to people traveling through Chico, or who don't want to take leftovers)--the sandwiches are pretty big, and the add-on fry order is also sizeable. If we were going again tomorrow, we would either order 1 fry instead of 3. Or split a sandwich. Very very good pub.
