App. $15.00 Caesar dressing was tasty. Lettuce is not cut prior to tossing or serving. Plated on a rectangle plate makes for difficultly while cutting it yourself without loosing some falling off. If I had been in a date, it would've been embarrassing to appear as if I were struggling to master this salad. Entree $30.00+ (can't recall exactly) was a let down when placed in front of me. Shrimp Risotto. I believe 6 medium size chargrilled shrimp cooked properly but not thoroughly deveined of their digestive track filled with grit... I removed them from my mouth because I could tell what it was after chewing. Those were placed ever so intentionally in a line atop a bland tomato infused risotto (that was also cooked properly to note). A few chiffonaded basil slivers were sprinkled within the huge portion of risotto that did in-fact add to the overall flavorless dish however there was NOT enough seasoning nor proper ratio basil to risotto for my liking. There is no salt or pepper on the table, simply an off the shelf bottle of season salt that comes out WAY too quickly. One of my table mates made the mistake of using it without testing the pour in their hand first & it came out so fast they couldn't eat that side of their meal. It is very odd to me that this detail has not been noticed & remedied in a more aesthetically pleasing, controlling of product manner. Worth mentioning, we were the first table to be seated at 5:00pm on a Monday & our main courses were served to us at 6:13pm. We had two orders of salmon, two risottos, and one pizza. The pizza was brought to the out 4 minutes (which is a long time when handling food) after the rest of the table's plates were set in front of them. Our food sat under our noses, untouched, getting cold the entire time while we waited for the fifth dish to be served. Very annoyed to say the least. Our group knows the industry, proper food serving etiquette, & thought we were walking in to a fine dining establishment. Sadly, not the case. Prices of one most certainly but untimeliness, lack of seasoned product served, & server attentiveness is subpar. The waters were refilled quickly however. My bill individually was $60.00. Crush is quieter and as well has a variety of options that span the pallet. I opted for the shrimp risotto and it was good, perhaps with a bit too much tomato, but none the less was tasty. Service was fantastic and attentive to our needs. Finally the space was interesting and nicely done. Based of the four pillars of culinary excellence, here is the breakdown: Service: 4 stars. Solid, attentive, and personable. They offered alternatives based on tastes and even rolled out the sommelier. Facility: 2 stars- while interesting, we were seated at a round booth with two chairs on the outside which for whatever reason were a bit too low, and seemed like an afterthought. With that said, it was quiet compared to other options in the area. Food: 3 stars: I had risotto and a Caesar salad. It was good. The risotto was tasty but had a bit more whole tomato pieces and basil which distracted from both the appearance and texture. To me, risotto should be a creamy heavenly bed for the star, which were five smaller shrimp with tails on. To me, for the cost, larger shrimp without tails would have been great and a better execution on the risotto. Value: 2 stars. My cousin and I were headed to the Jabbawockez show in the MGM and stopped here for dinner. We were actually interested in going to the Greek Sneek for some Greek food and beverages. It was hard for us to find at first, but then realized that Crush and Greek Sneek is the same restaurant with different menus. Our server was kind and timely, which was nice since they were out of most of the things we had wanted to order. I must say though that they had a decent wine list and the Red Blend was great! We ended up having to move as one person in our party was under 21. The waitress had already started taking our order and we were told she would put what she got in and the next waitperson would continue taking our order. 20 minutes later still no one came to take our order. I flagged down someone and the waiter finally came over. We continued our order and then waited. And waited. And waited. Appetizer arrived, it was the spicy fried shrimp...small and overcooked. Our drinks never arrived so my husband went to the bar and ordered them again. Our entrees arrived and the server practically slammed the plates down and left. Waiter asked if we wanted anything else and I asked for Parmesan cheese she said sure. Never came back or acknowledged that I asked for it. Nothing. Then she asked if we wanted more drinks and my husband said we never even got our first ones that we ordered. She was nice enough to comp the next round (hence the two stars) The desert was good and probably the best part of the meal. Overall, no one seemed happy to be there. We had a 9:00 reservation which needed to be held by credit card but nit sure why? The place was empty when we got there. And then they rushed service so much that we were done by 9:35. They were cleaning up the tables next to us the whole time and obviously in a rush to leave but why offer 9 pm reservations when you wanna close by 9:30. Food was aiiight. The cheesesteak dumplings are TINY. The salmon is decent and the shrimp risotto is passable. I was here last week for New Years and the food was delicious. Our waitress Layne was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu which made it really easy for me to decide what to order. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and my fiancé had the Filet Mignon. The chef cooked them to perfection. We ordered the Nutella Squeeze for dessert to finish our meal. I came for dinner before a concert at the Grand Garden. I was seated promptly in the back room rather than take a table at the bar. The whole place including this room are very dark with mirrors most notably running the length of the ceiling. My server brought a menu and a water glass was filled. The server stopped by again and asked about drinks and I ordered my usual iced tea which was soon brought. My dinner consisted of three tapas plates--octopus ceviche with grapefruit and pickled jalapeño, shrimp risotto with a tomato fondue and arugula, and ricotta gnocchi with braised short rib and pea purée. For dessert, I got the chocolate makeout--a warm chocolate fondant with salted caramel cream, peanut brittle, and caramel sauce. The octopus ceviche was very good. The dish had a good citrus flavor from the grapefruit and the pickled jalapeños added a good contrast. Served with the dish was a small amount of corn chips which I ate along with the octopus. The shrimp risotto was OK. There was nothing special about the dish. The shrimp were large but the dish as a whole lacked any wow factor to make the whole standout. The shrimp were also a bit chewy. Last was the ricotta gnocchi with braised short rib and pea purée. I really liked this dish. The short rib was very tasty as opposed to the bland ricotta gnocchi and there was no discernible taste of the pea purée at all. Still, I liked the flavor of the short rib and the softness of the gnocchi made a good fit. Dessert was the chocolate makeout--almost a chocolate lava cake but mercifully not another rendition of this ubiquitous dessert. The chocolate fondant was rich and I could have piped the salted caramel cream directly into my mouth. The peanut brittle and small amount of caramel sauce added texture and flavor to the dessert. Service was varied. The iced tea was brought with no sugar or other sweeteners. When the server came by one time, he stopped and then asked if I had wanted any sugar. I asked for some artificial sweetener which he never brought. After he went by a few times, I stopped a busser and asked him and I had a container of sweeteners in no time at all. When it came time for dessert, a different server stopped by and asked me if I wanted dessert. I ordered from her. After dinner, the original server brought my check and took payment. The server didn't ask if I needed anything explained from the menu nor did he mention more than one off menu special. The other server mention a couple of them to the tab;e next to me and asked them if they had been to the restaurant before. She then went on to describe some of the dishes and told the people if there were any other questions to ask her. I think maybe she should have been with me the whole time. The bus persons were very efficient and removed finished plates in a timely manner. Crush is OK. Your paying Strip prices for some average food. read more

I had high hopes for this place. First of all, everything is high priced but the smallest portions ever. I just didn't find it worth it at all. I don't think I'd ever go back. My server was awesome and super friendly though. Her name was Arika. Anyway, we got; Surf n turf.. which was $52. 2/5. First of all we ordered it medium rare. It was dry and closer to medium well. The shrimp was also the tiniest portion I've ever gotten when ordering surf n turf. Sea scallops benny 3/5. Okay. Love hate relationship with this. I loved the scallops and the sear on the scallops were perfect. BUT, why ruin it with chorizo and potatoes underneath? The chorizo was extremely salty and not needed at all. Tuna 2 ways 3/5. I don't understand why there's so much bacon in the tuna. Over powering and not needed as well. It easily could be done without it. The tuna with ponzu was good but I didn't like the seared tuna at all. Rock shrimp 3/5. Desperately needed some lemon. Very very bland. I had to ask for lemon to eat it. I feel lemon should be put in it or at least served on the side. Overall it was okay. I could go some place else for better tasting food, get full and spend way less though. read more

Started out with attitude from hostess when we requested a place that had more light. Had to ask for a third menu even though we had told Angeli the server we had a third person. Had to ask for steak knife for filet entry and pepper for gnocchi. Had to remind Angeli to remove returned gnocchi from bill. Lastly we had mentioned both in reservation and when we showed up that we were celebrating two birthdays yet nothing came of it (although other party did have candle, etc.). Bottom line I shouldn't have to do or remind staff what their job their job is. Ahi Tuna had good flavor but I always feel that sesame seed encrusting detracts from the tuna. Gnocchi was least favorite with the ricotta gnocchi having now flavor and the meat being so salty that we had to return it. Halibut was good but sauce again salty even though kale wasn't. Filet was was best of the bunch with being properly cooked. Was so frustrated with service we didn't bother to choose alternate entree to replace gnocchi and skipped desert (later had peanut M&M which didn't need being reminded how to do their job). Paid while holding our noses giving minimum tip (should have been zero percent). Told the manager who seemed frustrated. Great news that there are so many choices on the strip like In & Out, White Castle, Subway, etc. that will give superior service. read more

Disappointing. The hostess and the young man who brought the water, and the ambience are the reason for the two stars. I had the chicken parm, and it was not good. Whoever thought adding as much oregano and black pepper as you can to the marinara sauce was a good idea should be fired. It was barely edible, and it comes with nothing, pasta is an add on, and they don't do side salads. My husband had the sausage pizza and he described the sauce in that as too "zesty". At first site the ambiance is amazing. They advertise great food and cocktails, however I cannot commend them on either. For someone who very much enjoys a craft cocktail, their options were poor and execution mediocre. The drinks were even served in the same glasses that are in the hotel rooms. My husbands old fashion was missing an orange peel as week and I'm not sure what bartender serves an old fashioned without and orange peel. As far as food goes, we ordered the Ahi tuna for an appetizer, and it was very poorly presented. The ahi was cut up into cubes, mixed with cubes of avocado and mango, floating in some kind of sauce, with seasoning dumped on top ($26 - not worth it at all). Because we were so unsatisfied with the appetizer, we only ordered a wood fire pizza and called it good - it was made with canned red peppers FIR SURE! I asked if they could make one of my favorite drinks which is a "Bees knees" made with gin, honey, and lemon. Our server never returned and then when I asked again, she said they did not have the ingredients. I'm not sure what kind of bar does not have this ingredients when they advertise their cocktails. Service was under enthusiastic and not very experienced. We were so unsatisfied, we left as quickly as possible. Sad experience for the price. 2 drinks, an appetizer and a small wood fired pizza, $96. The worst $100 meal of my life. read more

Unfortunately, I dislike restaurants with employees who have no idea what is good on the menu. The hostess was unable to recommend a drink. Thankfully, I ordered a lychee martini which was tasty. I asked about the food items, and once again she was unable to recommend anything. I noticed the appetizer of cheesesteak dumplings, although it sounded weird I decided to give it a try. The hostess said they were really good" at that point. To begin, they don't even look like dumplings, they came with a side of nacho cheese. The meat inside the dumpling had a weird texture and the taste was not satisfying. I had to send the dumplings back and at this point I could tell the hostess was annoyed which made me uncomfortable so I decided to cancel the main entree I had ordered and asked for the check. She happily said of course with a huge fake smile. I am grateful she only charged me for the drink but I think I shouldn't have been charged at all. I ended up going to Wolfgang Puck. Hazelnuts, some gold flakes, tasty chocolate mousse, and of course the banana to balance out the sweetness; it was actually not super sweet, nicely balanced between rich and savory. Great place to come for some drinks - the food looked really good as well; maybe next time we're in Vegas we'll come back and see if the food is as good as it looks. read more

Located inside the MGM Grand, Crush is a restaurant I chose after much research for the bachelorette party I had planned. It's dimly lit, intimate, and was a great way to start our evening. Our table ordered cocktails, and for my main meal, I decided on their margherita pizza - so tasty! Our table also ordered the heirloom tomato and french onion soup which were both amazing and full of flavor. The ambiance is really cool and they have these doors inside that open to a party room I assume, but the doors are lit from behind and provide a great backdrop (perfect for the 'Gram). I was staying at MGM Grand for a work trip. My coworkers and I were exhausted and wanted to eat within the hotel. Crush is close to the elevators to our rooms, so it was perfect. The atmosphere is the usual dimly lit, close seats situation. Our server was nice and attentive. The food was pretty average. I had the Ricotta Gnocchi (short rib and pea purée). The short rib was pretty salty but the gnocchi was cooked perfectly. The pea purée doesn't really add to the flavor but it was nice texture wise. I also tasted the side of Brussel sprouts with bacon and liked it much more than my main course. The portions are decently sized, which was a nice surprise in Vegas. In summary this was a very middle of the road experience. It wasn't bad but it would not be my first choice. read more

Service was just a touch slow but that could have been because I was seated at the bar and there was only one person working there during a semi-busy evening. Celebrated my birthday at Crush last night and it did not disappoint. Our server, Laney was great. She let us know what the specials for the day were and answered all of our questions. My husband had the Cheesesteak dumplings which he loved. I opted for a Cesare Salad which was very tasty. For our main course, I had the filet and he had the special of the day, 16oz steak with grilled shrimp. These were some of best steaks we have ever had, tender and juicy. Laney brought me a Chocolate Mousse Cake for my birthday celebration which was too die for. When back in Vegas we will return to Crush. read more

A gem we found on our first trip to Vegas. Crush is located in the casino of the MGM. If you are a first timer I recommend the heirloom tomato salad. This salad is a generous portion of tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, pesto and balsamic. I had it last summer and could not wait to have it again! My sister and I also each had a steak - the 12oz sirloin with vegetables. Savory every bite! Aside from the delicious food the ambiance is worth the visit. The tables are wooden with candles at every turn. Service is also very prompt without whelming you. We are keeping Crush on our list for future trips to Vegas. read more

***Segregated Seating Arrangement*** On February 14, 2023, at approximately 6:45pm, my Fiancé and I walked into Crush at MGM resorts in Las Vegas, NV for our Valentine's Day dinner. I observed a seating arrangement I have never experienced in my life, and especially not in Vegas: ** Up to 90% of the people of color were seated in the back room.** This was me included, because I am black, and my fiancé is white. The back room was filled with couples where either one or both parties were black. The mid room and front room were noticeably different. Before leaving, I spoke with the managers and hostess about this. I asked if this was a regular occurrence, and they said it was pure coincidence. I was told the seating assignment was randomly generated based on seat availability. Please note: while seating in the back, I observed different people come in to the mid room at different times and I could almost predict where they will be seated based on the racial makeup of their party. I am not one to easily notice or pay attention to issues like this because I do not go around looking for it. But this incident could not go unnoticed. Not only are the actions of Crush's management archaic, considering how diverse Vegas is, they are also wrong. Anyone else who has seen or encountered this seating arrangement with Crush MGM resorts in Las Vegas, NV, please share your experience. read more

Then, once I found from my check that their nothing too special beer cost $14 a glass! Two beers; $28 -yikes! I had the ahi tuna appetizer which was a very imaginative take on the dish from the typical. I also had the crispy shrimp appetizer which would have remained crispy if not served in a basket that allows the fried shrimp to turn into a soggy clump. Our menu was limited for the group - so I ordered an arugula salad and the New York Sirloin served with truffle mashed potatoes, and au poivre sauce. The salad was delicious. Sometimes arugula can be bitter but the dressing made it just right. The steak was cooked perfectly but not freshly hot when served...possibly because others at the table had their steaks cooked more. They served us a trio dessert with a lemon meringue tart, a small cheesecake and a macaroon. All very good.
