I was invited to a networking dinner at Crush during a conference at the MGM. Normally for these types of dinners, you expect a moderately nice restaurant with standard fare. So I was pleasantly surprised when I was served my drinks and dinner at Crush. Unlike my typical reviews, I have less insight into the booking process, the service, or the price, so this review will be based solely on the quality of the food and drinks. I got the Ricotta Gnocchi with Beef Short Rib, and oh my, it was something else. The gnocchi was amazing, dense, and satisfying with an atypical *hint of sweetness. Then covered with a rich beef short rib ragu that complimented the gnocchi perfectly. In my picture the dish looks modest but trust me, you'll have a tough time finishing it. Along with my dinner I had one of their Old Fashioned's which was done right (there should be NO muddled fruit in an old fashioned and their bartender knows how the drink should be prepared). Not sure why this restaurant isn't sitting on a solid four stars, but I think that it's under rated. Casual dining, nice atmosphere. read more

GREAT CHOICES! My fiancé took me here as a surprise dinner the night he proposed. First of all I loved the ambiance inside here. Lots of yummy looking dishes on the menu, it was hard to pick! Everything we got tasted great. I especially loved how the Caesar Salad had lots of dressing, and came with pretzel bite croutons. The Fettuccine Alfredo was so good! It had a great kick to it. I came here because my boss flew the office (there are like 6 of us who work in the office) out to Vegas for a weekend, and this was the second restaurant we went to together. We had a reservation and were seated right away. The menu at this place is slim, so it was good that I wasn't too hungry walking in. The service was courteous and attentive. Our server took the time to go over both the food specials and the drink specials. She also repeated her spiel when some people in our party arrived at a later time. I ordered the ahi tuna because I've never had it and what better place to try something than in Vegas. Other dishes ordered were the cesar salad, sea bass, chicken fettuccine, french onion soup, roasted cauliflower, and fries. The ahi tuna was delicious. The tuna was super soft. My only complaints were that I wish there was more avocado mixed in and that the sauce was a little overpowering. There was so much of it puddled on the plate that it made every component of the dish taste like the sauce and nothing else. Also, it looked nothing like the picture online. Well, this is going to be awkward. My recent visit to Crush was with a party of ten friends, and in fact, was the occasion where I proposed and became engaged to my fiancée. And I'll hand it to the staff, they were extremely observant and awesome when they brought a couple of champagne flutes, considering I hadn't tipped them off in any way. But sadly, this is where things start to decline. This is a great looking restaurant in a great location, and it has such potential. But our dinner here was simply a disappointment. Here's what I tried, either from my plate or fellow diners: Maine lobster salad rolls - It's telling that the description is "warm brioche, celery, herb mayo", because I think that's about all that was in it. Lobster was very much in the back seat here. 12 oz charred NY sirloin - The steak was not particularly thick, nor flavorful, but it was cooked to the requested medium rare. Accompanying mashed potatoes were dry and lacked flavor as well. Shrimp risotto - The rice was almost gummy and borderline undercooked, and again, not big on flavor. I've made better risotto at home, and I'm a slightly-better-than-middling cook. Honestly, I'm going with three stars here because of the staff's attentiveness to our occasion, and overall service, which was really good. But sadly, from a food standpoint, I was, wait for it, crushed by its two star quality, but $$$$ price tag. read more

Came here with my family to celebrate my husband's birthday. We had a reservation for 5 PM on a weekday, but it was probably unnecessary as there was plenty of seating in the restaurant throughout our meal. We chose to sit in the back rather than the front of the restaurant to avoid all the cigarette smoke of the casino. For a family of 4 adults, we ordered: French onion soup: This was not the best I've had, and the one at Mon Ami Gabi definitely tastes a million times better, but it sufficed. The soup was salty and yet somehow the flavor just wasn't there. We got this for my mom, who loves soups, and I tried a spoonful. Neither one of us would order this again from here. Maine lobster salad rolls: These were tasty. Warm brioche with a mishmash of lobster and a celery and herb mayo topping. I wish the lobster were big chunks, but instead they were all tiny pieces like in a crab salad. But the flavor was good and the bread soft and chewy. Ribeye + shrimp: This was the special of the night not on the menu. We ordered it for my dad, who loved it. I tried a piece of the ribeye too, and it was my favorite bite of the night. Seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium as my dad requested. It came with a side of potatoes. I didn't try the shrimp, but they looked succulent and juicy. New York sirloin: My husband ordered this. The sirloin was delicious but couldn't compete with the ribeye. The sirloin was also seasoned well and cooked to a perfect medium. It came with a side of truffle mashed potatoes. I loved these so much, we ordered a whole new side of truffle mashed potatoes for the table to share, and we easily finished it. Ricotta gnocci braised short rib: This was disappointing and probably my least favorite entree of the night. Someone else posted on yelp that the braised short rib was extremely salty. I completely agree. It was overly salted and I couldn't really handle more than a bite. My husband and dad finished the short rib for me. It came with a pea puree which was delicious, and a ricotta gnocci which was my favorite thing on this plate. I could eat plates of the gnocci. Chilean sea bass: We ordered this for my mom. The sea bass flaked off the fork as it does when cooked well. It came with a braised kale and tomato chutney. The sea bass was a pretty big portion, and my mom was very full from the dish. Dessert plate: The restaurant was nice to give my husband a little plate of dessert. We were too full to order actual dessert, but this was just the right amount for all of us to share so that we could end with a sweet bite. There was a little birthday macaron, cheesecake, and chocolate cake. All in all, not my favorite restaurant on the Strip by far, but it tasted good enough. We had a $100 off voucher to eat here, which is why we came here in the first place. But I'm unlikely to come back, as there are far too many better places on the Strip to eat. However not bad if you're staying at the MGM and want something inhouse that's good to eat. However I do think it is on the pricier side for what you are paying for. read more

The ambiance is very deem almost sexy with a really cute tropical vibe in the back lounge area. Not a huge place so really intimate. For apps had the crispy shrimp and it was spicy but not too spicy and fried prefect. The sauce was delicious as well. Entree I had the ricotta gnocchi and that short rib was sooo good. The balance of the almost creamy texture of the gnocchi set the dish off nicely. Overall happy with the food. For cocktails had the lychee martini which was the all-star of the night. We come here EVERY time we're in LV. The servers are always friendly and helpful. They also ask if you have any special dining needs. We are vegetarians and so they bring out a menu for you specifically. The ambience is great. Lights are dim and it can cater to parties of 2 or large groups. I would suggest a reservation!! The food is spectacular!! If you want to get a lot of sides and share OR a traditional option off the menu you will not be disappointed!! The truffle mashed is to die for! I came here when it first opened around 5pm on a Sunday and it was very empty. Despite the lack of tables I felt very rushed so I knocked 2 stars off for that. I had the 12oz sirloin with truffle mashed and it was quite filling. To drink I had the whisky business which was a pretty simple cocktail so no complaints there. Being from NY, and having spent many summers in Cape Cod, I was disappointed by the lobster roll because it was langostines, not lobster. The food is Italian American fusion. I had a Margherita pizza, and my husband had the linguine, which had amazing sauce! Probably the best Alfredo sauce I've ever had. Tried the French onion soup as well, which was great. My one complaint is about the single-stall restroom which seems extremely small for a restaurant of this size. My family and I had a very delicious meal here at Crush. It was a busy weekend, but luckily they were able to squeeze in my family of five at 7pm on a Saturday. The lounge in the back is really cute to hang out in or take photos, btw! For the food, we ordered two steak and lobster specials, the sea bass, and a chicken fettuccine. We split this between five people, and it was the perfect amount! My parents loved the cook on the steak and lobster. They said it's one of the better steaks they've had! Lobster was a little smaller than expected, but for the price it was worth it. The sea bass was very soft and flaky. I personally thought it would've been better with a different sauce, but it was a nice addition to our variety of dishes and flavor profiles. The chicken fettuccine was delicious. This was my niece's dish, but we all ended up picking at it haha. The sauce was delicious and creamy, and the pasta was perfectly al dente. Service was also great! Would recommend a visit! read more

Tonight we decided for our date night to try out this place and we did not regret it! The restaurant had a very romantic and ambient setting which we both loved! We ordered some wine I had their Whispering Angel Rose. We decided tonight we would share so we started with their Cheeseteak Dumplings which I must say is a 10/10! So delicious and the cheese sauce that came with was excellent! We then ordered the Italian sausage wood fire flatbread along with the filet and both were equally delicious! It was so delicious, when I warmed it up the next day it was still really good. I added shrimp to the risotto and that topped it off!!! Came here around 7:30 for dinner with a group of 6 and was seated immediately with no reservation on a Wednesday evening. The waiter and waitress taking food orders and refilling water were timely. However, the food is pretty expensive for what you get. I ordered the lobster rolls as my main with a side of lobster Mac and cheese. The lobster rolls came with 3 mini ones but honestly it was more bread and Mayo than lobster. The lobster Mac and cheese came with tiny pieces of lobster in every other bite. If you want seafood that is worth the price go to oyster bar at the palace station which comes with an abundance which was the same price as the two items I ordered! Expensive quality Italian restaurant in the MGM Grand. One of my companions ordered salad and an appetizer for dinner, so that gives you an idea of the prices. My draft beer, Tenaya Creek Bonanza Brown Ale, while excellent, was $14. It's a lightly hopped dark brew. It's cheaper a few steps away at a bar outside this restaurant. My grilled salmon was excellent and done to my liking. They like to serve it medium rare. I like it medium. The salmon fillet was really big. A zero carb, high protein dish. The price was $41. I wanted the Chocolate Mousse Cake, but at $14 we decided to get dessert elsewhere. The bill for three was north of $100. We found good salmon for less at other places, but due to familiarity with the Grand, we chose to eat here. Very good food, but not a fancy setting. read more
