Ok so here's the thing,the Seafood Boil pizza was good but could be great if they make minor tweaks. Now personally i could have done without the large potatoes as I felt it was a tad too much. Even if they were smaller and a little less that would have sufficed. The pizza was also a little too greasy for my liking. It was more of a flatbread than the texture of a pizza I also felt if the pizza had a drizzle of a creamy old bay sauce would have set it off. Now the spinach dip taste like spinach soup. The bread bowl was the best part. The consistency of the the dip was also very watery. It was sadly disappointing. It wasn't at all doughy and the flavor just wasn't there. My friend ordered the margherita pizza. She commented there was a lot of garlic on it. And she LOVES garlic so I'm not sure what was throwing the taste off for her. Her daughter seemed to enjoy her cheese pizza. The kids pizza came with a drink, but the server failed to bring it initially, so we had to ask for it again. We also ordered fried pickles. Also underwhelming. The batter was just a little to thick. They added dill to the batter which didn't enhance the flavor at all. Our server was a little slow in checking back with us. I'm all for servers allowing me to enjoy my meal, but picking up on cues is key. We were sitting for a while waiting on the check, to the point another server noticed and asked if we needed anything. Now I will say, I saw someone's order for Philly cheesesteak and fries. And that looked really good. If I'm ever back in the area and someone suggests C&C, I'll def try the subs. I was not impressed with this place. First of all its a true greasy spoon but not in the traditional sense. It was a little disorganized with lost orders and such. No one greets you at the door and if they do you're picking and choosing who to talk to. They need to have a door greeter that sends you to someone with a name. When placing to go orders they don't tell you if you order online to have your e-mail name ready. I waited for the soggiest pizza I ever ate in my life. I really like the ambiance in this Mcdonough bar. It's clean and maintained inside. The see through bar to the outside is an awesome feature. One this trip we sat at the bar and had very good service. We started with cocktails which were tasty but not to strong, an extra 1/2 oz would be a plus. For an appetizer we ordered the mussels Diablo, you get a pretty healthy portion that comes with small bread sticks as well. For dinner we got the shrimp pizza and is was equally as good. The bang bang sauce and the sweet chili Thai go great together. Between the app and the pizza a couple can get reasonably full, we didn't even finish the pizza. First time coming to this place and the ambiance in general is truly unique indeed. It has a southern flare to it but modernized in so many ways. Me and my bf got two 10 size pizzas to go. Mine was the classic margarita pizza and my boyfriend got the Philly fry pie which from appearances looked amazing. One thing I will say about my pizza from looks it looked great but once taking a bite I noticed the pizza has too much tomato sauce on it and not enough mozzarella cheese to balance out the acidity. The service was great and smooth, my boyfriend called in the order and it was ready within 15 minutes or so. Everyone we encountered was kind and super friendly. There's outside seating right in front and is ideal when there's warmer nights. Be careful with parking, there's parking across the street but it's metered the additional parking is around the block but this place located smack dab in the square so be advised for ongoing traffic. Crust & Craft was recommended by several people during my recent trip to Georgia and I am so glad we went! The food was great and the cocktails were fun and delicious. The exterior is unassuming, but upon entering you are immediately welcomed into an energetic, fun atmosphere with lively music. The building's interior is very modern despite being over 100 years old! Originally I considered ordering wine with dinner, but Crust & Craft's cocktail menu seemed creative and exciting so I kicked things off with a Big Sexy. (I was extremely impressed & I highly recommend!) Next I ordered a Florida Georgia Lime which was also good, but the bourbon and banana flavors in the Big Sexy are something I will crave for weeks to come. For an appetizer we selected the McDodoughs (garlic knots) and these were absolutely perfect. The flavor and texture were better than expected and I wish I could have these all the time. Rather than traditional baked knots, these were more like drop biscuits served with a sweet red sauce. For pies we ordered a Philly Fry Pie and French Dip. The French fries on top of the Philly Fry Pie pizza were different but made for a fun twist and really good flavor combination. The French Dip was not quite as exceptional as the Philly and a little on the dry side, but still made for a good dinner. However, I should note that the onions on the French Dip pizza were cooked to perfection! The pizzas can either be ordered for an individual (expect some leftovers) or order a couple for the table to share and try different options. Our server Jake informed us that their dessert menu will be changing, but we really liked the flavors of the Apple Pie Pie so if a variation of this is still available, I say go for it! The vibe of the place is great for friends to get together and enjoy some great food; however, I don't know if this place would be ideal for a first date because the music was a cranked up and we had to speak loudly to hear across the table.
