She did not know the menu, the Bartender approached and never brought a drink, and they did not wipe the table and did not give us silverware. Sharpsburg has a new find! This did not start out with a five star experience, but wrapped up that way. Any new place has growing pains, and some grace can cover that. Lilyanna, our server, was personable, experienced and attentive. We had a glitch with our drinks, but it was made right. Their thin, wood-fired oven crust is a perfect foundation for the very unique pizza offerings. We very much enjoyed the Philly Fry Pie and the toasted ravioli with a delicious marinara was fantastic! Honestly this place is a little bit over priced for me and I don't really like their selections of pizza they have but their drink selections are unique and so is the ambience of the place. I like their outdoor sitting area with the little bar facing out to the McDonough square and their 2 fire heaters outside heat up the small outdoor area pretty well. I like the way their main, large bar area opens up halfway to outside as well. Their service is great. My favorites was one of their salads they have for lunch which was a large portion and yummy. I would suggest lunch here or just to meet up for drinks and appetizers. read more

We stopped in on a whim and we are SO GLAD we did. Sharlene was AMAZING and the food and beer did NOT disappoint! We got the goat cheese appetizer and the truffle mushroom pizza, both delicious. The beers were cold and from breweries we had never heard of. All IPA's and yummy. Sharlene was personable and friendly. Made a reservation for here today, but ended up going around 4 (earlier than my reservation) none needed we walked right in without a wait. Larger parties did start to arrive after we sat. Parking was on the street and we lucked up and found a spot. It's free on Saturday and Sunday. The service was good and so was the food. We had the McDodnoughs, we thought they had cheese In them, but they are just garlic knots. They were good. We had the philly Cheesesteak fry pizza, chicken ranch pizza, and kids cheese pizzas. Everyone enjoyed it. It was so strange the the philly pizza taste EXACTLY like a philly. We would be back if in the area, but was glad it was worth the 45 minute drive. Just wow... this place is amazing. I went with my Mom for our Mom-Son outing. We started off with the tri-dip sampler which was out of this world. Neither of us expected so much food. However, there was a ton of dip but not a lot of dipping stuff. It you are with a party it might be hard to share. We discovered that the pizza crust was a great alternative and went well with all the dips. For pizzas, I got the flyin Hawaiian and my mom got the BBQ brisket. They were both perfectly sweet and savory respectively and had the perfect homemade thin crust. 10/10 would go back, but would go elsewhere if with the family since it can get pricey fast. Food is an A+. We had the Dynamite Shrimp pie, the fry Philly pie, and the Buffalo chicken pie. All had amazing crust. Thin with the right amount of chew, and the toppings were on point. The bartender as friendly and you can tell he works hard trying to get to all the patrons. The wait staff is spread thin. This restaurant is a true gem on the square in McDonough. The building itself has an appealing, industrial aesthetic. From the patio dining area at entry to the exposed brick and beams inside to the open and visible kitchen, it gives off a hip and welcoming vibe. The menu is a one pager, with gourmet style pizza, appetizers, subs, salads and desserts. We went with a group of 7 and had several different items. Pizza seems to be their specialty and rightly so. Crust wasn't overwhelmingly doughy and had just enough thickness to fall nicely between hand tossed and thin crust. Sauce and toppings were generous and spread almost to the edges of the dough (as pizza should be). Subs are of a good size and packed with your chosen ingredients. The accompanying side of fries are the skinny kind, like you get at Steak and Shake. This is a nice change from the usual fry-side as I like skinny shoestring fries. Dips come presented in an edible bread bowl along with toasted pita points. Beer selection is a little more limited than I would expect for a place named Crust & Craft but there is still a decent choice. There is also a full bar if your tastes run more to the liquor side. Waitstaff was friendly and efficient. There are only 2 non-gender-specific restrooms, so there can be a line for those during busy times. Restaurant can get a bit noise as it's so open, but not so much that you can't carry on a conversation. Good for couples, groups snd families. There is a children's menu for the little ones. Food prices are fair for the portions and ingredients. Alcohol is a little on the high side. $10 for a vodka cranberry in a highball with non-top shelf vodka seems a little steep, especially since the drink wasn't particularly strong. But no complaints about anything else. We enjoyed our meal and our experience and will be back! Highly recommend this restaurant! read more
