Saturday lunch Was busy and with only 1 clerk taking orders- that did take a moment. But the overall wait was appropriate. Nice patio, cute decór and clean. Rib lunch special and chicken caprice sandwich. Ribs were good, hubby ate all of his sand which so can't speak to that from personal experience...beers were cold! Wow , from the moment we walked in the door until we walked back out , what a great experience. All the staff was helpful and engaging, the owner stopped at our table to give a quick hello and make sure we were being taken care of, he also shared his thoughts about how food should be prepared and what a bounty of products we have here in the Central Valley. All his foods are sourced locally. The food, pretty eclectic menu from breakfast to pizza ... we visited at the lunch hour and enjoyed some ample slices ... the whole experience was a pleasure and the food only added to that experience. Thin crust pizza with fresh toppings, I had the chicken, spinach and ricotta, super flavorful and filling a very generous slice for sure, my dining partner had the sausage slice and extolled the same praise.... the chocolate chip cookie for dessert , crisp on outside soft on inside with lots of mini chips , all I can say is Amazing. Stopped with my kids and hubby for a quick snack!! Ended up staying for pizza which was to say the least delicious. Staff very helpful and amazing. They sell breads and buns for burgers and baked goods. The chocolates chip cookies are the best I have ever had. To just stress how great the cookies were we left with a 1/2 dozen to go after eating two we bought. Place is great and service and food 10 stars!!! We had the buffalo chicken pizza, cheese pizza, my 5 year old had a slice of carrot cake which he ate every crumb and request it for his birthday cake and one of my other boys had the churros donut. The pizza here is so good. I wish I had a piece of the Greek Pizza right now. The donuts are so interesting, they are not like other Donuts you have had. Super friendly atmosphere, their chicken chili is delicious and I got their pulled pork sandwich which was so good! My friend and I sat on the patio which was nice and they didn't forget about us out there which can happen when you sit outside. But they had great service the whole time. I had the breakfast sandwiches and baked goods here before, but I really wanted to try the pizza. Tonight was the night, we were greeted by friendly staff as soon as we walked in the door. All of the smaller tables were already occupied, so we sat at one of the larger ones. We ended up meeting a nice couple there and shared the table with them. We ordered the house salad and a pepperoni pizza. We got our food fairly fast, the salad was good and very fresh. The pizza was also good, the pepperoni was full of flavor yet not overly greasy. It was a good meal, and overall good experience. I will be back. I do have one wish though, I would like to see the menu expand a little. Turlock is moving up in the world with Crust and Crumb. We ordered two pizzas...the Buffalo Chicken and a Build Your Own. The Buffalo Chicken pizza was absolutely AMAZING. It was flavorful and provided a perfect balance of ingredients. The Build Your Own we did half sausage and the other half was pepperoni, olives, and mushrooms. Again, perfect amount of toppings, sauce, etc. The best part of the pizzas was the crust. It was the best crust on a pizza I have ever had. To top it off, it wasn't soggy from the toppings and sauce. They have a variety of local beers on top, so of course we ordered a pitcher. George, the owner, stopped in a few times to see how are dining experience was and if he could get us anything else. To top off a SPECTACULAR lunch, George brought a plate of chocolate chip cookies for the table. We will definitely be back! read more

If you like pulled pork and are picky like I am, you will be happy to know that not only do they do authentic smoked pulled pork but that they offer a choice of house made BBQ sauces. I loved eating on the patio, the tables are just the right size! Normally restaurants try to pack as many seats in as possible but I appreciated having the elbow room. This place is seriously THE best! Friendly service, amazing food. I mean what else can you ask for?! I got a pepperoni slice and it was baked to a crisp, just the way I like it! During our meal, one of the sweet ladies who works there, was walking around just handing out slices of cheesecake! The cheesecake was sweet, but not overly sweet just the way it's supposed to be. We ordered the special of the day. It was a wonderful burger with a pasta salad on the side. The burger was great. The bread was soft and tasty. The meat was wonderfully cooked with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Overall a fantastic burger 5 stars. The pasta salad was mediocre. It left a wierd aftertaste and smelled funny. I asked for my salad to go, got my whole meal to go, which might explain why my sandwich was lukewarm and the au jus was cold, but that doesn't account for the fact that the beef was exceedingly dry and tasteless, like chewing straw, and the au jus had no flavor at all.
