Sadly- Mid. I was really excited to try this place . We ordered a thin crust /uncle Lou. And the Sicilian. We wanted to try both are thin and thick. The thick crust Sicilian came out first. My first impression was that it seemed skimpy for the toppings. But here's where we ran into a problem. The crust was cold in the middle. We didn't bother trying to send it back. We're just not gonna do that. It's pizza and it wasn't gross or anything. What I think is that possibly they pre-baked the crust because it was thick and maybe it takes a long time. And then they add the toppings and reheat it. I don't know of any other reason why it would be cold in the middle. And I don't mean it just wasn't hot. In the middle, it was actually cold. We were gonna take a bunch of pizza home anyways, and when we reheated it, it was fine The second pizza with the thin crust, both my husband and I really liked the crust. My husband ordered buffalo wings and he said they were delicious I really enjoyed the two dollar cannoli Price versus quality I don't think we'll be going back

We had a busy evening of running some errands & luckily that is what brought us here at Crust Pizzeria... OMG is all I can say! As we were driving over to the store I called in my order & the girl who took my order was very polite, said it'd be ready within 20 minutes! I went in to what was your typical little pizzeria that FYI smelled amazing .... plus it also had a full bar if you wanted yourself a cocktail! A nice young man took care of me & I was on my way with my pizza with wings.... Off to the tasting!! Well the results are in, we will definitely be going back to Crust Pizzeria... okay I'm a born & raised Long Island girl, that was some awesome pizza is the only way I can put it! Yes there's so many different styles of pizza in this generation but as for NY pizza there's just a certain way to do it & Crust Pizzeria does it pretty darn good... LOVE IT! :-)

Another trusted Yelper wrote a glowing review of this place, so I stopped in to give this place a try. Ive been in the mood for pizza this week, so I thought lets give this NY style pizza place a try. I walked in around 7:30pm and there were a few tables eating, I sat at their bar and immediately greeted by a younger and competent server. He was not even of legal age to drink, but his service was impeccable. He let me try one of the draft beers as I asked him what style the beer was and he couldn't answer given his age. He was better than most servers I've had in this town, so I think I might have a slight crush on him haha. I asked him if they served slices in the evening and he said no but told me about their lunch specials where they did serve slices and then introduced me to their rustica pizzas which are personal pizzas. I did opt for the half Sicilian and then he said they don't get as much credit as they should. I had a beer at the bar and within 15 min or so, my Sicilian came. It was an OK pizza, nothing like NYC, but it got the job done. What I will say is that sometimes service really makes the difference and in this case, I bumped up my review from 3 stars to 4 because of the good server I had. That kid is gonna go somewhere, come out and support this place, they've got a few younger people working here too. I'd gladly come back in again.

Tried crust pizzeria on a Saturday afternoon. Ordered their personal margherita pizza and garlic knots. Both were delicious. Pizza came with a beautiful basil flavor and garlic knots were delicious but super oil. Service was friendly and nice trendy ambiance. There are few things I love in life more than pizza. Which always makes trying out a new pizza joint exciting. I checked out Crust Pizzeria for the first time on a Friday for an early dinner. They have a complimentary lot and I had no trouble finding a spot. Ambiance (4.5/5): As I walked up to the restaurant, I noticed that they have a front patio with misters. With it being June, I decided to sit inside at a table. Crust Pizzeria has your typical New York pizza joint vibe. Clean and modern. And they also have free WiFi which is always a good start. Service (4.5/5): My waitress did a great job. She was attentive, efficient, and checked in on me at the appropriate times. No complaints. Drinks (N/A): I went with an Arnold Palmer so not much to right home about. They have a happy hour and daily specials, so if you're looking for an adult beverage or two, you can find a good deal here. Food (4/5): Now to the good stuff. I had a BOGO offer on their rustica pizzas that I got through a Facebook ad. So it was a feast. I went with their Uncle Louie (pepperoni, sausage, tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, basil) and their Jersey Sure (double pepperoni, hot honey, mozzarella, ricotta cheese). Both pizzas were great. They're New York style which is the best variety in my mind (I may be a little biased as I was born in NYC). The ingredients are quality. The pizza came out just right with a little char. The Italian sausage was surprisingly a little more spicy than I expected. I can only handle so much spice but it was manageable. And most interestingly, their pizzas aren't circular or square. They're shaped like a cutting board with a handle. That was a first for me. Perhaps you get a little less pizza this way but it does make for a good photo opp. And while the pizzas are a little pricey, they were delicious. While I just moved to Phoenix in January, Crust Pizzeria has joined my top three pizza joints in Phoenix. Bada bing, bada boom!

My New Jersey friend had recently discovered the joys of having hot honey on pizza so I've been indulging him on his journey to try hot honey pizza from a multitude of different establishments around town. While not a stranger to Crust or to hot honey on pizza, our recent quest led us to get takeout here. Jersey Sure 20" ($29 - "Indulge in a mouthwatering combination of double pepperoni slices layered over a bed of melted mozzarella cheese, topped with delicate stracciatella cheese strands. Drizzled with tantalizing hot honey, this pizza offers a perfect balance of savory and sweet flavors, creating a culinary masterpiece that delights the taste buds with every bite."): I mean, just read their description. That's all you need to know. If you love a good sweet-savory and spicy combo, you're gonna love Jersey Sure for sure. My friend certainly did!

First off the sauce was extremely bland, no flavor to it, and certainly no zest to it as it was advertised. And then there was not enough cheese, covering my pizza. There was spots of tomato sauce showing through.. a very disappointing very average Pizza that you will find all over Phoenix.

I finally stopped by "Crust Pizzeria" I drive by it almost every day and I always say I gotta try a slice. They offer New York style hand tossed pizza, wings, pastas and salads. They have happy hour from 3-6 M-F as well as every day specials and combo's all reasonably priced. I went with a slice of cheese $4.00 it was as you would expect a New York slice to be large and foldable with a, thin-to-medium crust, and generously topped with a simple, light tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese it had a good undercarriage with a little bit of flop I liked it very much. I will have to return with the wife and give happy hour and try.

The waiter was super nice and attentive. We were disappointed with the soggy crust , maybe too much sauce ? Also , I noticed I was charged 2 dollars more than the menu price after I left . I did substitute pepperoni for jalapeno... But half the pizza was cheese . Also, I noticed in Phoenix, not many offer a Military discount. Try eating out on a soldiers salary , and you'll see why it's so difficult to leave a generous tip. Anyways, this restaurant was very clean, and played good music. If I went there again, I would ask them to pre.bake the crust for a few minutes before that added toppings.

Came back because the last experience was so fantastic! Had the garlic knots and they are so garlicky and delicious! They go perfectly with a glass of red wine. Our bartender, Leyla, told us about their new salad, and she was right... soooo yummy! The buffalo fried chicken salad was ah-maz-ing! I added extra chicken to it so I had friend chicken and grilled chicken and it was the best of both worlds. 10/10 recommend this place for the food and the service. We saw Caroline again, and she is just a doll! Leyla and Caroline are the reason we will be back, and of course the food, and the wine! Thanks for another amazing experience!

10/10 in my opinion.The slices were huge and they tasted really good.They weren't super thick and I like thinner pizza.Ther service was great.The woman who helped us was very friendly and she deserves a raise.I wish I knew her name.She gave excellent service.The ambiance was nice.They had seating inside and outside and it wasn't busy since we went during the way in the middle of the week. Food was extremely disappointing. Could be our inexperience but we got a Sicilian upside down cheese pizza. It's was huge and rectangular and zero crust to hold so had to be eaten with a knife and fork which was practically impossible to cut due to the crispy bottom crust. Very, very little mozzarella cheese but an unholy amount of Parmesan dust. Not the real stuff but the dry stuff they put on your table. If we wanted it we had some at the table we would add ourselves. Tasted awful. Kids hated it. Parents hated it.

Coming from a picky former NYC gal and two adults who grew up in NY and NJ this place is the closest to a ny style pizza joint you can get in the area. The pizza is "yuge" and incredibly thin. You immediately want to fold it and can feel the nice bubble of the crust. The chicken parm and portions were generous. It's simple, it's good, it's NY in Phx. Love this place!!! read more

(Phoenix, 12th and Bethany Home location) Mesha has been my bartenter twice now, and she is just amazing! I don't know how this place got to lucky to have her, but they better give her a raise and never let her go! she is so personable, conversational, accommodating, caring, funny -- you do not get service like this ANYWHERE anymore. I am a frequent diner all over Phoenix in medium and upscale places, and I literally just want to come here for the service! This is only my second review after 6 years, so it is well deserved. Crust has exceeded my expectations. Every experience is even better than the last. Great atmosphere, clean, accommodating, reasonable prices, great happy hour. Staff is friendly and on top of everything from cooks and wait staff, to management . We have gone all out, trying appetizers, pizza and wing deal, and cocktails and we were impressed with every selection. I really didn't expect this kind of quality for a pizzeria. read more

The food is good but the service is not. The server was rude and made it seem like it was inconvenience that we were there. She was nice in the end but even mentioned before we even ordered that "I'll serve you to the best of my ability but I don't know how busy it will get" even though we were the only people in the restaurant. We came here on a recommendation for lunch. It's got a great ambiance. We got the pizza and salad lunch special. It's 11.00 with a large slice, salad and a drink. All delicious. I think next time I'll just go ahead and order the smaller pizza. There is two sizes. Smoking deal. They are assorted toppings and enough for 3 for under 16.00. It's cut square and looked amazing. Jenna waited on us and she was great. She's so friendly and attentive. She did a few hard sells on a couple of the pizza she really loves. I'd definitely go back. The Happy Hour looked great too! I've been going to Crust for as long as they've been open in Scottsdale. When I saw they opened a pizzaria in Phoenix I was so excited! This place is fantastic! Casual with finer touches. Superb thin crust pizza served on a butcher block. We had the Uncle Louie, great flavor combo. Paired perfectly with a legit red wine for happy hour, served in proper wine glasses. Our server Max was very friendly, fast and attentive. The place sports a clean, open and airy interior, with comfortable indoor outdoor seating as well as the bar. Ample parking lot, 1.5 blocks off the 51 freeway. Would not hesitate to come back or recommend. read more

First visit Saturday 1:00 pm. Service was slow one Server present for a large table and 2nd couple and us. Two or three tables not clean so we decided To go order and make it simple. Took about 10 minutes to get 2 slice specials when the pizza was already made.. I found the slices to be paper thin and barely warm. Not to my liking. I am from LI NY and recent Transplant. Not impressed. The upside down q Sicilian also barely warm and frankly not appealing to me. I prefer right side up. read more

We have enjoyed this place since we found them about 2 months ago. We do enjoy the pizza and have always had great service. Today we went with all of our family....9 adults and 6 kids to celebrate a birthday they were so wonderful helping serve the large group bringing out items to keep the kids entertained just above and beyond in service. Oof. Not a fan. Ordered our pizza and it was so over sauced on one half that I didn't taste anything else and considered getting a side of plain pasta. I couldn't taste the hot honey and asked for a side of it, turned out to be just oil. Had a "spicy margarita" which wasn't more than chilled mango purée with a jalapeño on top. Not on the rocks, no rim, it was just disappointing. I don't think we will come back. A couple next to us had ordered garlic knots, but they ended up just being rolls with garlic butter tossed on top. Was really hoping for a win, but came up way short. The bartender was nice, that's about all I can say. read more

We really liked this place when it first opened. However the customer service tanked really bad. So much so that we and other neighbors folks I know aren't going in anymore. On the last 3 occasions within a 2 week period it was really bad. 2 of the 3 the restaurant wasn't busy at all. Wait time for someone to visit the table by the bar as 15 min and at the bar it was 10. All of our food was out at different times and none of us ate together. As for food, the garlic knots are on point and a must have. I really like the thick pizza, not sure what that one is called and hubby loves the meatballs there. If the customer service improves we'll return. read more

Went to their original location in Scottsdale many time. Very good. Salads are great but huge so if you're by yourself think about getting a half. The Greek is my favorite. Then go for a rustica. Stretched thin on a bread board. Or a 20" cheese pie is really good. Like this place! read more

This is my 3rd time in and the food here is so great. For 45 bucks you get a 20 inch pizza, salad, wings, 4 garlic knots, and 2 cookies. They are working out some new restaurant kinks, but i have witnessed the owner immediately comping a dish and offering free dessert! i feel like that's rare to find these days and i don't think it should take away from the great food they have. read more

One of the best slices you'll find in this part of Phoenix for sure. The interior is really nice and inviting. Only giving 4 stars though because I usually don't have the best experience here customer service wise. Ive been here 3 times around lunch. Each time I usually stand and wait for a few minutes before I'm greeted. (not really a big deal though) the last time I was there a waitress came out after maybe 3 minutes waiting in an empty restaurant and asked me "what did I need?" to which I replied "to order food". mind you I'm standing at what looks like the register/pos area where you would order food. She asks "what did I want?" and I said a Sicilian slice and an ny slice. she rushed to give me the total, and I then had to ask her to bring me a menu so I could figure out what toppings I could get. maybe she was having a bad day, maybe i came in at a bad time, but it almost felt like my patronage was more of a nuisance to her which is good and fine because I came to order a slice of pizza not a meaningful conversation. But with that being said it's still great pizza. The customer service could definitely be improved. read more

The $8.50 2 slices and a drink is our favorite lunchtime meal. The NY pizza slices are large, very delicious and served warm and crispy. We enjoy adding pepperoni and sausage but the slices are good enough to enjoy with just cheese. We appreciate having a great tasting iced tea and the very friendly service. Had Crust last night. If you love NY style this place won't disappoint. It was truly fantastic! Red Devil has always been my fav but now it's taken a second seat to Crust. I've only had their 20 inch pie and can't wait to try other menu items. Highly recommend! read more

Solid pizza spot! We always order the garlic knots and the meatballs. Super good! We had the Stromboli and it's HUGE . And the Caesar salad could feed 4 people. Portions are great and prices are good. Service is awesome too. They have some outdoor seating on patio with warming lamps which is nice. We are going to try the pasta next time. That also have specials all day like 2 large slices of pizza with a drink for $8. Can't beat it! read more

But the front layout is odd, the hostess stand is right there so everyone crams in front of door and there's no barrier to the first large table so you're like staring at the poor people eating at that first long table lol! I think they need to switch up the entry layout and put up a half wall or decorative situation to tuck away that table a bit too. Just my two cents. Overall, I'd go again but it would be really nice if management saw this and trained staff on how to greet table sooner, take drink orders, and deliver said drinks timely for a more pleasant dining experience.

I definitely should have gone with the Chocolate Ganache Tart. But their mess up worked in their favor. I'm definitely coming back for another meal at Flint!

Caroline, Leyla, and Alexa provided absolutely amazing service! From the moment I walked in, they were attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. I recently tried the pizza and garlic knots and Crust, and it exceeded my expectations! The crust was perfectly crispy (better be with a name like crust) the toppings were fresh, and the sauce had a delicious, homemade flavor. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were amazing. I come in for lunch at least a couple times a month and it is always delightful. My favorite server, Leyla, always offers excellent service, along with the rest of the staff. The cooks get my food just the way I want it every time. read more
