I went for a friend's wedding, not to golf. There were no clear directions as to where everything was going to happen. The Lyft driver took a right, which took us to the club house & reception hall. Well, the ceremony was happening in the opposite direction. Too far to walk from one location to the other while dressed up & in heels. You need a car to get from one spot to the other. Luckily a friend gave me a ride back to the reception. As for the wedding space, it's a bit dated. The bartender looked confused and like she didn't want to be there. There were 2 signature drinks, but she only knew how to make one of them. Even told a guest she couldn't make it for her. The bride had to go order it for her. Crazy! I will say that the venue for the outdoor wedding is beautiful. Food was good too.

Crystal Springs hosted Women on Course Golf Clinic. Nick was selected to be our instructor for the dive week clinic. Eric in the Pro shop was amazing and provided great customer service.

Amazing course with perfect weather. Enjoy the sceney with wild animals flocking around. Would be nice if bathrooms were cleaner.

Gorgeous winter afternoon without wind, clouds or frost. Love the wildlife: deer and turkeys that survived Thanksgiving

I have been here for the driving range a few times. Occasionally there is a wait for a mat. There is a nice bar and outdoor tables looking over the range. Played 18 holes here once. Tee time around 2 pm but with delays from prior group we started 20 minutes late due a lack of available electric carts. Overall slower pace of play. Beautiful place. I know a lot of other people whom love it here. Not the best experience for me

It had been a couple months since I last played Poplar because I was avoiding it after they punched…read moretheir greens back in March. Fast forward a couple months and the greens are fully healed and in amazing shape for a local muni. Honestly, some of the best greens I've played on a public course in the Bay Area. The best part is that it's still affordable compared to other public courses. I played a round with my dad and lifelong friend this past weekend. It was a holiday weekend and we didn't have a tee time on Thursday, but I kept checking back on the website and was able to book a sunday tee time at 8:30AM. We checked-in and the course was empty-ish and was able to tee off 15 minutes early. We didn't have a single play with us so it ended up being a great round with just the 3 of us. While the greens are good, there are some dead spots in the fairways from all the rain that came over the winter but overall still in great shape. Poplar Creek is the golf course where you go for an ego boost because they have so many driveable par 4s. The caveat to that is there are a lot of tough par 3s. Pretty much all the par 5s are reachable in 2, so there's birdies to be had all over the course. My personal best here is 67 with 6 birdies! The prices increased since lasts year. Weekday is $45 and Weekend is $62. Either way, still very affordable by Bay Area golf standards. The course is very walkable as it's super flat. Looking forward to playing many rounds out here over the summer!

The course is drying out and almost back to the forgiving fairways I'm used to, but I have to say that the rough over the last 2-3 rounds I've played here since those rains has been a little thicker than I'm used to...but I actually like it! Makes the course more interesting and challenging. Maybe I'm a masochist but I also kind of liked some of those big ponds that were out there right after the heavy rains...definitely made you focus more on driving accuracy vs just bombing away (but it would be nice to put a warning flag or something on a few holes where those ponds are hidden (like on #1, #10 and #14)...nothing worse than hitting what you thought was a great tee shot only to find out you lost your ball in a huge pool of standing water you could not see from the tee box or fairway (no penalty but cost me a $4 premium ball a few times!). It's also taken awhile to fix the driving range fence (going on about 2-3 months now) so that's a bit disappointing (I heard it will be ready by April 1 though)...however, the short game practice area is one of the better ones in the area for a public course (it's free if you're playing a round that day). What I do miss is the Par-3 Restaurant and Snack Bar. Hope they sort out that messy situation soon and get another great proprieter in there soon. Anyway, you can't beat the price here, especially on a weekday! It's my go to course when I need to work on my game and build up my confidence!!

Each time I've brought it in, the staff has been friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to help. I really appreciate how quickly they handle warranty claims and get clubs shipped to the manufacturer. If you're looking to buy new clubs, I'd definitely recommend purchasing them here. Not only do they help you find the right equipment, but if something covered under warranty goes wrong, they'll take care of the warranty process for you at no extra charge. That kind of customer service is hard to beat.

I've gotten a driver, new wedges, and even a trade-in set for my girlfriend. There are good deals to be had, just depends on what's traded-in and what's available. I've noticed the best time to shop is around the major holidays because they'll have solid discounts on demo and trade-in clubs. I recently got all my clubs re-gripped and they had a golf pride grip special where labor was waived. On my last visit, I was in the market for new shoes and shout out to Kathleen in the shoe department, she's really the nicest person and helped me find the right pair of footjoys. I told her my shoe size and she brought out a bunch of different styles and sizes for me to try bc I learned that Footjoy runs big. This is why I prefer to shop in-store over online, because there's nothing like trying stuff on in the store so you don't have to deal with returns and exchanges.

We booked the reservation online, and since some of us had been to other TopGolf locations, we didn't have to pay the one-time membership fee again but for new players you will have to, I think it's like $6 a player or something like that. The most important thing to know is that your time starts exactly at the time you book, so be ready to go to maximize the time you booked for. We did a 90-minute session and it flew by really quick. We had enough time to do 4-rounds of 5 golf shots each and then less than half an hour to just hit balls. The amount of game options makes for an exciting competition between friends and family. For food we got the sampler that had chicken sliders, mac n cheese balls, chips and salsa, queso. The chips were kinda stale but the rest of the food was solid enough that it did what it needed to do. I was debating on whether or not to bring my clubs, which I ultimately did but it wasn't necessary at all. The range isn't very long so getting a ball to the back of the range was like a pitching wedge from the 2nd floor. The balls felt like they are limited flight and doesn't compress like normal golf balls. Bringing a couple of wedges if you just want to hit your own clubs would be the move. The clubs they provided were just fine. While we had a great time, I don't think TopGolf is necessarily for me. While it's good for families, friend get togethers and beginner golfers, I feel like there's an opportunity to attract avid golfers because the facilities are what an amped up driving range should be - Great vibe, solid food, drinks, etc.

I've been coming to Topgolf Burlingame 2-3 times a week for the past two years and have spent…read morethousands of dollars here. Unfortunately, over the last six months or so, I've noticed a significant decline in both the service and the overall condition of the facility. On multiple occasions, I've spent an hour at a bay without seeing a server once. No one stops by to check in, while employees can be seen standing around on their phones and seemingly ignoring customers. When you do need help, it can take 10 minutes just to flag someone down--which is especially frustrating when you're paying for the bay by the hour. The club situation has also gotten noticeably worse. Clubs are frequently missing or severely damaged, and it doesn't appear that anyone is inspecting or resetting the bays between guests. Again, you end up wasting paid time tracking down an employee just to get basic equipment. More recently, I've stopped in when both the first and second floors appeared nearly empty, only to be told there were zero bays available. When I asked about it, the manager was rude and dismissive rather than offering any explanation or assistance. At this point, these don't feel like isolated issues. The consistent lack of attention, poor service, employees disengaged from customers, and deteriorating equipment point to a management problem. It's disappointing because I've been a very regular customer and genuinely enjoyed coming here for a long time. And one issue that obviously isn't the staff's fault but is worth knowing before visiting: depending on the wind direction, the smell from the wastewater treatment facility next door can be overwhelming. I hope management takes some of this feedback seriously. This used to be a place I came to several times a week, but lately the experience has made it increasingly difficult to justify coming back.

The club offers several membership levels tailored to different needs, and the facilities are well‑maintained, and cared for by a staff that works hard to keep everything looking great. We joined in 2019 because we didn't have a swimming pool at home, and our kids wanted to enjoy the summer weather. The newly renovated pool had just opened, and it was incredible to see how many families were out enjoying the patio, the Terrace Café, the diving board, and the overall energy of the space. We chose the Clubhouse membership because I'm not a big golfer, but I still appreciate being able to join friends for an occasional round as a guest. The food at PGCC is exceptional. Whether you're craving American, Italian, salads, or something quick and easy, the club is often a better option than going out. It's less crowded, the staff is friendly, and service is quick -- perfect for families. During the off months, they open up the Terrace cafe for kids and children with activities there so the parents can enjoy finishing dinner while they play XBox, color, or games with monitored lifeguards there. The Wellness Center is another standout. It's clean, modern, and fully equipped. I actually canceled my Equinox membership because the club's gym and fitness classes meet all my needs. They offer yoga, TRX, cardio dance, barre, and more -- truly something for everyone. The locker rooms are great as well, and having a personal locker has made it easy and convenient to keep my gear at the club. PGCC recently added new pickleball courts, and they've quickly become one of the most popular social spots. They bring a fresh, active vibe to the club and help break the old stereotype of country clubs being stuffy or outdated. The club still maintains a traditional dress code, but I appreciate it -- it creates boundaries, preserves the elevated feel of the environment, and teaches our kids about manners, respect, and etiquette. The grounds are beautiful, the facilities are well kept, and the overall experience is consistently excellent. If you're looking for a family‑friendly, active, community‑oriented country club with events and amenities for all ages, PGCC is absolutely worth checking out!
