A friend of mine was on the way to get something from the market in the same plaza where C's Waffles is located. When she saw waffles, she said we had to go! Who can say no to waffles?! We went on a Friday morning and it was a small crowd. We got seated and looked over the menu. Our waitress took our order and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I went for the waffle topped with bananas, strawberries, and Nutella. It was SO good! It was so good that we ordered waffles the next morning and brought them back for takeout to have at our temporary place. The service was excellent and it is recommended to check out the place. Our go to place when in New Smyrna Beach. It's in a shopping plaza so parking is not an issue and if you have to wait for a table, you can at least go shopping around the stores there. It is away from the tourist area, but it does get busy because it is so good. The one thing that I like about their food is that it is not greasy. They have an extensive menu. They specialize in waffles so you must get them! Even plain they are good! They just added healthy burrito items. And you must order their home fries, trust me. Highly recommend. The staff is also wonderful. It is like a neighborhood restaurant. They also have a bar you can sit and order. read more

Breakfast this morning NSB. Seated promptly with friendly service. Coffee was good with half & half as well as flavorful creamer option. I had the cheese omelette with hash browns and a biscuit. It was served with grape jelly. Bestie ordered Santa Fe Egg White Omelet with fruit cup. Served hot and fresh. Maybe a little too much cheese (if that is even a thing). Popped in for breakfast. It was right across the street from our condo. Cute little dinner with a decent menu. Server was quick and friendly. I ordered the turkey Benedict & added tomato. C's Waffles is a really good breakfast spot in South New Smyrna Beach. The owner was a huge Pittsburgh Steeler fan and so this place is decorated to show his enthusiastic support for his team, including some Terrible Towels and even defeated Steeler enemies. And if you are from Pennsylvania, they can even serve you (a rather pricey) slice of scrapple! Not sure if this is the famous Habbersett brand, but it did not taste like it; it was OK, just not worth the extra $4.50. If you can get here before 9 AM, they have a rather amazing deal of a classic breakfast (2 Eggs, bacon/sausage/ham, hash browns, and toast/English Muffin) for $5.00. They do a good job on their meals here and there are regulars that frequent this place for a reason; good portions, mostly quick service in a clean and bright atmosphere. OK: down to the actual food and service. I've been here at least 5 times and they can be overloaded with customers. Their wait staff can be tough to flag down for even small things, like getting the check! Not a fan of their sausage gravy biscuits, which taste somehow off--not bad, just not the way I've had my sausage gravy. Maybe it's the way the sausage is seasoned but the result is a large, filling, biscuit covered in gravy that I've not enjoyed. The last time, I had their classic breakfast with an English muffin it was really hard like it had been sitting in an oven for a long time. But they do good eggs and excellent extra crispy hashbrowns. And their portions are so large that you could share them. Coffee is decent and their servers are pretty friendly overall when they're not too slammed. All in all, a solid place for breakfast and one which we will be returning to. read more

Drove to the Edgewater location, which was closed, although it was advertised to close at 2:30pm (we got there at 1:30pm). Decided to try nsb location. I called them to make sure they were open. The young woman who picked up the phone was absolutely atrocious. I told her I was just calling to confirm they were open. She then proceeded to sigh, the most noticeable sigh. And told me they close in 15 minutes (2:00pm). I said said I thought they closed at 2:30pm, because that is what google advertised. She again, she sighed and said not since I've ever worked here. Regardless I would not have gone knowing they were closing at 2. Still, the way she approached it was TERRIBLE customer service. I advise C's to hire friendly people for answering their phones. This place had the best Belgium waffles I've EVER had!! I had to get two! The waffles are soft, sweet and overall perfect. The service was wonderful, our server was very kind and a sweet woman. Called before we left the condo as we were told this place was a hot spot for breakfast while in the area. Was told that their was a small wait but should be able to sit our party of 8 once we arrived. So we headed there, and keep in mind it probably only took us 10 minutes at most to get there. We get there and were told that the wait would be an hour! And they wouldn't place your name on the list over the phone either. Then we were just going to order the breakfast to go, however were then told they were out of biscuits!! Say what!? Ok, so we were a bit frustrated as the girls wanted biscuits and gravy. The hostess told us that they had another location down the road which we ended up going to however not the best food. Recommend trying elsewhere. read more

I was a bit sad. We were told this was the hotspot to hit for breakfast. I ordered the steak and eggs, but the meat was more like a pressed hamburger and the eggs were just meh. Great breakfast spot in a strip mall off of A1A tucked in the corner down from the old Food Lion which has been converted into a Dollar Store Market. This place can get packed but I can tell you from experience the owner works hard at turning tables so the wait for a table or food isn't very long. The wait can be contributed to all the condos and vacation properties located up and down A1A and their isn't much competition on this end of town. The inside is relativity small with a hand full of tables and a few stools at the kitchen bar we chose the bar and the service was great and we were able to watch the kitchen staff do their thing and they were really on top of it. I didn't hear one complaint nor did I see one dish return back to the kitchen. One thing that stood out was there is no lack of help I think I counted 8 or 9 servers working the Sunday morning shift so I doubt anyone waited on anything in this small restaurant. The staff was very friendly and was quick to offer refills on drinks, our server took our order and it was out in a flash fresh and tasty. Everything was cooked to order and they didn't seem to mind special request. I definitely will keep this place in mind when looking for a great breakfast on the weekend. I chose the meat lover's omelette but the pancakes and waffles looked really good. The prices were extremely fair and the portion sizes made this a great value. read more
