We came in for food to go. It had great looking outdoor seating with a fire pit going. We sat at the bar inside and ordered margaritas and 1/2 dozen oysters. Those WellFleet oysters are delicious. The bartender was very nice. We took home clam chowder and lobster risotto. The chowder was a little thick, like our cream gravy back in TX, but still very tasty. A fun and welcoming Wellfleet restaurant with a large menu of wonderfully prepared unique options. We opted for outdoor seating under their tented dining area. While waiting for our table we enjoyed their adirondack chairs around a nice fire pit (photo included). Our server was very helpful and attentive while providing great suggestions. They offer a fantastic selection of specialty cocktails and I especially enjoyed the Orange Lavish Martini. The starter of lobster corn bisque was silky, creamy and flavorful. The buttermilk onion petals were crispy and balanced nicely with the slightly spicy dipping sauce. The Gem salad with the grilled lettuce presented a subtle grilled flavor with crispy sweet bacon and a cool cucumber ranch dressing. Lastly the poke bowl with tuna was fresh, clean and flavorful. Would not eat here again or recommend. We spent the day in Provincetown and had to drive towards Chatham to head home so we decided to look up some local spots and found CShore. The website and menu caught our eye so we stopped in. The restaurant was pretty empty which was surprising for a Sunday evening. The restaurant looks elevated and welcoming. For reference, we requested two checks. We ordered three cups of clam chowder and an app to start, only two chowders were delivered to the table, we did request the third and it had good flavor. Unfortunately, we put our entrees in and waited over 40 minutes until they arrived incorrectly. Two of us order the Ribeye special medium rare but received the steak kabobs (only three pieces of meat) well done. We notified the server but of course we had already been waiting for quite a while so it was very disappointing to not receive the items ordered. The server did apologize but we did send the items back. The manager was requested and apologized as well and asked if anything could be done. The two of us just snacked on the other's food. The ramen was ok... pictured below. The lobster pasta was pretty good and the crab rangoons were not hot when served (additional sauce on the side would be a nice touch). After all was said and done we received the check as one instead of separated... requested the separate checks and provided our cards. The manager swiped the wrong card with the wrong check. At that point we felt very frustrated and decided to leave. I would not recommend this place, there are SO many other options on the cape that are worth the time and money. read more

When on Resy you are offering reservation you should not be showing more tables than you actually have! One big waste of time! In my years and years of dining and reservation experience I have never ever made reservation and was not offered a table I made reservation for! Yes we do live in NYC and standards are high there and I do understand that place of the highway might not be able to keep up with basics too! However, if I make reservation for patio, make sure you have a patio table ready and do not offer me some cramped up table on the roof that is not even a proper table! read more

What a total disappointment. We have been to the CShore at least 10 times but tonight was my final time. We ate outside upstairs on the deck. Our first disappointment was the gas fire tables were removed. Ok - no big deal. I initially asked the waitresss if I could have shrimp scampi on spinach or another vegetable as I'm watching my carbs. She asked the kitchen and they said NO! I should have left but we were hungry. Waitress suggested the tuna special as it's healthy and delicious. I took her suggestion and when it arrived (within 10 minutes of ordering it) I had to ask the table next to us to see the menu and see if that is what I ordered. They asked what I got and when I showed it to the next table the guys said " oh I was going to order it but now I won't ". The presentation was horrible. Everything was yellow and the tuna was mush and obviously pre frozen premade and lukewarm warm. My food looked like it was scooped from a cafeteria line. I think k it was because it came so quickly. I voiced my concern to the waitress and told her to tell the kitchen and manager. I asked to see the manager. Did they come to talk to me? Nope! Obvious they don't care. I will not be back. What a great find in Wellfleet! This was our first time staying in Eastham and we were trying to find some nice places for dinner and CShore did not disappoint. Such a nice summer vibe with beach decor and string lighting. We came at prime dinner time and were Lucky to get a seat on the upper deck which was nice. Would have loved to sit on the front patio but this was nice too! I had a virgin Raspberry lime Rickey and the husband had a whisky beverage, I forget the name but he enjoyed it. We split the lobster Mac and cheese and good thing we did because it was large!!! Very tasty. We also had the hush puppies which were good. They also gave us a nice variety of different breads to start which I couldn't stop eating. If you are in the Wellfleet/Eastham area definitely try this place out! read more

Came here for dinner during COVID. Got a reservation the day of for 5 people via resy. 8/21/2020. Kendra, the hostess, was great. I apparently made my reservation for a high-top table. I was with someone who wasn't physically able to sit at a high top. Thankfully, Kendra was able to move some tables around and accommodate us. I saw her hustling and moving around all night, trying to accommodate everyone's requests. Not an easy job, especially during COVID. Colby, our waiter, was also great. Checked on us often. Food was excellent. We got the angry buffalo pizza, swordfish, salad with lobster, Mac and cheese, burrata salad, fried pickles and wings, everything was a 10. So tasty. The tables were spaced out, outside, and waiters always had masks on. I've been coming to Eastham for 30+ years, this place is really one of the best. Definitely a must. read more

Made reservations a week ago for the rooftop deck, we arrived early thinking we may have to wait for our reservation time but we were able to be seated right away. The fried artichoke appetizer is phenomenal - two pieces of fresh artichoke with a Parmesan breadcrumb crust. The Japanese noodles with vegetables (including fresh corn off the cob) had a nice flavor. My son had the Chicken Burrata - delicious. My daughter had steak tips with an assortment of veggies, mashed potatoes and yummy cheesy housemade cornbread. Lots of seafood options as well. I honestly try not to leave bad reviews, but after the treatment I received at this venue I feel it's my responsibility to let others know how terrible this place is. This was our first dining experience in Cape Cod, and the hostess was incredibly rude. She turned down our whole party saying there were no seats even though we could visibly see several open tables. Then she proceeded to say she only had "two seats open" at the bar, clearly wanting us to leave. I've never encountered staff so rude, dismissive and honestly just mean. We ended up eating across the street and had a much better time. If you happen to be in Cape Cod, steer clear of this place, there are WAY BETTER options. read more

The food is good but the staff and service leaves something to be desired. I ordered takeout and when I went to pick it up I was shocked by the staff. I signed the credit card receipt and the woman sighed and said "ohh no tip? I'm risking Covid to be here and I make $3 an hour." I was shocked by this statement but I decided to give a 10% tip on my takeout. When she looked at the receipt her response was "ohhh, only 10%?" I get how the restaurant service works. I've worked in restaurants. But that comment is just inappropriate and unprofessional. The staff has proven to be unprofessional and inefficient numerous times but this was just over the top. Drive 40 MPH on Rte 6 and get yourself to CShore. My wife and I had dinner there on Saturday night. We made a reservation and sat outside. Nice atmosphere. We sat under an open tent near the fire pit. We were relaxed and comfortable. We ordered drinks which started bumpy since the bar didn't have tomato juice for my Bloody Mary. Fine. I changed to an old fashioned. Despite the waiter not knowing what Woodfords was, my drink was great and I know the difference between a good drink or not. My wife had a margarita and she commented on how good her drink was. I started with a half dozen oysters which were great. My wife had a salad which was huge and had a delicious dressing. Since CShore is a farm to table restaurant, the veggies were really outstanding. You could taste the freshness. The dressing was light and really complimented the greens. My wife had lobster risotto which was great and included pieces of lobster. My dinner was a special. Bluefish topped with crabmeat. Side of delicious veggies cooked perfectly. My fish was delicious and cooked perfectly. I don't remember having fish that was so good in a really long time. My big risk in picking bluefish paid off. Great meal. Highly recommend CShore. We ordered 6 plates. The two appetizers (tomato salad and calamari) were great. Two of the dishes were disappointing (the strawberry goat salad was dry and lacklustre and everything on the steak tip dish was way too salty - meat, veg, potatoes, cornbread). Two of the dishes were completely inedible. The mussels were just mouthfuls of sand and beach trash. The risotto tasted overwhelmingly like soil perhaps the mushrooms hadn't been washed. The summer cocktail was also disappointing, little more than a vodka soda for $12. read more

CShore opened a few years ago and it looked interesting and we thought about going but then pandemic and all. But we finally got there and will go back. There are different seating areas. We were in the tent on a pleasant evening. Next time I'll try to get onto the patio where there's a flat surface instead of shells. Service is very friendly although at times a little slow. The food is generally good. But the best was The Chef's Whim appetizer. Three items - Brussels sprouts with goat cheese, a roltini, and beets. It was like a party in my mouth. I seriously considered ordering one as my main course. There are a lot of small plate 'shareables'. We wanted to try a number of things to get a sense of the food. It was all generally good but we were spoiled by the chef's whim. Our one issue was that we had each ordered a few dishes to come as starters and main course. Two of my husband's arrived - they took one back to hold but none of mine came out. So I sat there with nothing in front of me for that course. (My husband wanted to wait but we assumed something would be right out. ). Now I realize things get busy and stuff happens. But we both felt there was not an adequate acknowledgement or apology.
