My experience here at Cuban Breezes was not exactly what I was hoping for. On the search to satisfy my cravings for some local Cuban cuisine, I was directed to this restaurant. The ambiance didn't feel too welcoming as it darkly lit and awkwardly spaced. As nice as the staff were I don't think it made up for the not so nice food served. I ordered the Palomilla platter. The plantains were rice and plantains were nice. But the rest really didn't have much flavor. Maybe if given another chance they may improve but I'll skip. Next time I'll look elsewhere for my Cuban food cravings.

What a cool little hidden gem! My daughter and I were in Tampa for a soccer tournament and noticed the sign outside of this restaurant tucked into a strip wall. I was shocked to see how packed it was in there. We were seated, and instead of getting takeout, we decided to stay because it was so cute and quaint in there, and we could tell that the servers were really friendly and attentive. Our food was hot and outstanding.

This place is amazing! It is a hidden gem in Hillsboro County. The Cubans are delicious. The sides with rice and beans are also very tasty. There are so many different Cuban options to try as well. If you order fries, make sure you get the garlic mayo dip to come with them! The service is quick. The staff is somewhat welcoming. The restaurant is also very clean. You all should definitely give this place a try.

Pumpkin Flan. It is so good!

One of the best, if not the best burgers, in Tampa with awesome seasoned fries. This is the Havana Burger. Service is always great! Been eating here for years. All their food is great.

This place is one of my go to spots for Cuban food. I always know that what to order and it will always be good and consistently good. Simple, good food. depending on where you are, it could be a bit further away from the downtown Tampa area. But if you find yourself in the town and country/westchase/oldsmar area...stop on by for some good Cuban dishes. Clean and bright area with ample parking in the shopping center. Prices are very reasonable and overall great service and food. My go to is always the roasted pork sandwhich with fries. Pork is never dry and the fries are always made by order. My coworker always orders the breaded steak, bistec empanizado, with rice and beans and sweet plantains. It is so good, he refuses to order this anywhere else cause it will disappoint. I've also ordered the pan con bistec sandwich, but somehow his breaded steak was more tender than my sandwich steak. I'll stick to my normal pork sandwhich. Again, it isn't in your standard "Tampa" area as it is a bit more out west but it will certainly make the trip out there, worth the drive.

I would give this place a million stars. I was craving Cuban food and this place is THE ONE. Fresh food. Quick service. Everything is what I wanted!

I have been coming to this restaurant since it's opening and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. The vibe is so chill and cool, featuring an indoor tiki bar. There is ample indoor dining and outdoor tables are also available. The service here is always top notch. All team members from runners to servers are always so friendly and professional. From soups like Caldo Gallego to the amazing pressed Cuban sandwiches to full entrees, like my favorite, Pollo Empanizado this place has the Cuban flavor on point. Located in Oldsmar, this place is a must stop!!

Our server Enarxis was amazing and made our entire visit! He made us feel like family right away, shared the history of the room we were in, and gave us great tips and things to do while traveling in the area. His food and drink recommendations were 10/10: Red Sangria & Salad: The sangria was delicious and the tableside salad was so unique and flavorful. Cuban Bread: Oh my gosh... warm, perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside with butter. Divine! Pollo Manchego: Huge portion for lunch! The citrusy sauce with the crispy chicken and yellow rice was so different from anything I've had and super delicious. Mahi Mahi with Blue Crab: My husband devoured this. El Combo de Cuba: My dad cleaned his plate trying all the Cuban flavors. We loved every second from start to finish. I can't say enough good things about Enarxis--he truly made our experience. We will 100% be back next time we are in the area!

Visiting here on a Sunday evening was a totally different experience! It felt less like dining out and more like sharing a family meal in a much-loved, historic home. I'll definitely be returning and will bring friends and family with me next time I visit Tampa!

The rice was fantastic, perfectly cooked and seasoned -Salmon and fries: this was really good, flavorful and cooked great. We just wish it was a little bigger for the cost. -Vanilla Flan: very good, just a bit small. -Tres Leche: stole the show! Fabulous! I would come back just for this! The texture was perfect and the flavor was flawless! It was sweet but not too sweet. Great dessert! Definitely check your food before leaving though as they did forget part of the meal. Not a big deal as the guy up front was super apologetic and friendly. That dude was great! They need more just like him. Also, not the cleanest, floors needed swept and mopped. (That definitely would have helped the experience) Overall, it was a good/okay experience, just not great.

Sat at the outdoor bar, and received prompt service. My mojito was tall, well muddled (if Columbia Cafe can't get a mojito right, who can?) and had all the right components, just a bit too much ice. Offspring's strawberry daiquiri was also quite refreshing. We didn't realize there's an entire other bar and seating area (air conditioned!) up on the second floor museum level - the bar up there looks quite ornate and fits in with the museum-oriented atmosphere.

My wife ordered the empanadas and the half 1905 salad and I ordered the half and half......half Cuban and half 1905 salad. My wife should have added 'bring them together' but she didn't and the server didn't bother to ask so the empanadas came out and everything else came out 15 minutes later. My wife had a cocktail and the bill was $60.20. Issues to fix: 1)I ordered a Coca Cola, $4.00 and in 92 degree weather it melts in 5 minutes. We were there for an hour and not one time did she ask if I'd like a refill. 2)When she made the 1905 table side she literally 'dropped' a handful of salad ON THE FLOOR between my wife's and my seat......she kind of chuckled, gave us our salads and walked away. She literally left the SALAD ON THE FLOOR THE ENTIRE MEAL! During the course of our meal probably 20 employees walked by and never bothered to pick it up. That in itself was the epitome of laziness and complete lack of respect to the customer. Our bill was $60.20 and I tipped $12 which normally I'm a 30% tipper and I could kick myself for giving her 20%. She deserved zero. I know I will never get a response from management but do you think I will ever come back? Nyet.
