Cubanitas Kitchen is the kind of restaurant that makes you feel proud to support local. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming and every detail feels intentional. The food is outstanding. The lechón was tender and seasoned with so much flavor it practically melted in my mouth. The empanadas were golden, crisp, and filled generously. The sweet plantains had that perfect caramelized sweetness that balanced the savory dishes beautifully. Francis took the experience even higher with great customer service and a Mojito that was easily one of the best I have ever had. Refreshing, minty, and exactly what you want with a meal like this. Angel, the host and owner, was attentive to every guest and made me feel like family. He offered thoughtful recommendations and also shared the inspiring story of how he and his wife started with a food truck and worked their way to building this restaurant. Hearing their journey adds a whole new layer of meaning to the meal. You are not just eating delicious food, you are supporting a dream that was built with passion, hard work, and love. Cubanitas Kitchen is more than a place to grab a bite. It is an experience that blends authentic Cuban flavors with genuine hospitality and an inspiring story. If you want a meal that leaves you both full and inspired, this is the place to go.

A few weeks ago we celebrated one year of moving my family from Florida back to AZ and when we were in Florida we went to a place called Babbalos. It was delicious and being in a hub for Cuban food it was amazing. I was told about cubanitas from a coworker and decided this had to be the place to celebrate. Glad oh so glad we did. Delicious drinks sides, sandwiches and plates. Came on a Sunday around 6pm and was seated outside. Ordered some appetizers and drinks that we all really enjoyed. I absolutely ordered the Cuban sandwich to compare and it was superb and all others in my party loved their food as well. Full of flavor with a wonderful staff in just a nice little spot that felt like we were back in Florida but I'm sure for others more like little Cuba Don't pass by this spot it's loud and fun just sitting and they make it an unforgettable experience with delicious food and drink

Came here on a Wednesday night and it was 2 hrs to close time but the place was packed. They have a full bar and outside seating but because the bar had an open concept inside was a little bit on the warm side. Server was super nice and they didn't skimp out on the portions. I ordered the pollo potaje plate which comes with white rice and red bean stew, it was full of flavor. My roommate ordered the bistec de Res which comes with Cuban rice and side salad, he devour the whole plate. Guava and beef empanadas were killer and the coco flan was decadent. I wasn't a fan of the tostones, it was on the dry side and needed a dipping sauce or something. There's so many side dishes I want to try, can't wait to go back and I recommend this place to anybody that's a foodie.

If you're looking for authentic Cuban flavor in Glendale, this spot is a must From the moment you walk in, the aroma alone lets you know you're in for something special. The Cuban sandwich is pressed perfectly, the pork is tender and full of flavor, and the rice and beans taste like they came straight from abuela's kitchen. Every dish is seasoned just right -- bold, comforting, and made with heart. Great portions, friendly service, and a true taste of Cuba right here in Arizona. Definitely coming back for more.

Beautiful little Cuban restaurant tucked in historic downtown Glendale with amazing service and ambience! We stopped by for a quick drink to cool down after a hot day outside exploring the historic downtown area! My partner was missing home and he's from Florida and he said that this place gave him what he was missing in regard to the space and the wonderful plantain appetizers we got! The sweet ones were great and the crispy salty ones were just as yummy! Drinks were great and you can't beat that happy hour time either. We'll be back for more and their salsa nights and definitely recommend to others!

This reminded me of Cuban restaurants back in Miami- which are the absolute best! The entire decor and vibe is spot on. The food was good. The service was friendly and prompt. As far as I can tell they only serve the black beans mixed with rice. I wish they had an option to order them separately as that is my preference. Overall, this satisfied my craving for Cuban food and I will be back!

I stumbled upon Cubanitas Kitchen one random Saturday in September while my boyfriend was off browsing a comic book store--and what a happy accident that turned out to be! I struck up a conversation with a friendly gentleman at the bar, who I later found out was the owner himself. Though we were too full to eat that first time, we've since made up for it--returning three times and falling completely in love with this place. The food is OUT OF CONTROL good! The Ropa Vieja is a masterpiece--rich, flavorful, and perfectly tender. The Tostones Rellenos are absolute must-tries (especially the chorizo!), and if you stop by on the weekend, do yourself a favor and order the Ajiaco soup--it's bursting with authentic flavor and warmth. The service is exceptional, the owner's passion shines through, and the entire experience feels like a labor of love. This is hands down THE SPOT for incredible Cuban food in Glendale. Don't walk--run to Cubanitas Kitchen. You won't regret it!

We just visited Cubanitas new location on Glendale Ave. and it did not disappoint. I have had food in Floridas Little Havana and this place would fit right in (very authentic). The Cuban sandwich is the bomb and the highlight of the meal. The stuffed potato is a must try and the steak platter was solid. My only recommendation would be to change the fries to crinkle cut instead of shoestring. The atmosphere is lively and our server was great. Even the draft beers are huge and cold. Overall I highly recommend you go out of your way to try Cubanitas. You will not be sorry! David "FIMP" B Food Is My Passion

10 out of 10 would recommend, if you're looking for a homemade meal, I haven't had authentic Cuban food in a while. This is the place for you! Great price is great customer service amazing authentic smells. I cannot believe this is walking distance from influence Studios and the Glendale Civic Center. It's such a beautiful restaurant, and so clean, tons of choices for drinks and food options!

First time visiting recommended by a true cubano friend. We had the Cuban sandwich, papa rellena and the plantain canoa despite of all other comments I'll tell you we had a great experience our server Francys was very friendly and helpful with the food options his recommendation were spot on we will definitely revisit. Thank you Francys.

Cubano. Pork was dry and tasted old, pickles were limp and flavorless, and mustard barely able to detect.

We went in on a Sunday late afternoon. The place has a nice covered patio, large bar and seating inside. It's clean and bright. We sat at the bar and ordered Mojitos, empanadas and cubanos. The bartender was not rude, but not friendly or welcoming. His service overall was good but he Barely spoke a word. The food was not good. First the meat in the empanadas tasted like taco meat seasoned with a storw bought taco seasoning packet and the dough tasted like it was from canned biscuits. The pork in the cubano was really dry and tasted old. The pickles tasted like cheap, pickles from a jar. Little to no mustard but the bread was fresh. Best and only part of our meals we like were the fries. They were delicious, fresh and fried perfectly. The mojito tasted good but was weak. Not the best, not the worst I've had but I make a better mojito. All the workers lacked enthusiasm and when delivering our food, just put the food down and walked away. This place was a huge disappointment but I'm not sure if was off night for them. I'm not sure yet if I'll give it another try or not.

I LOVED this place! Let me tell you!! It was incredible! Great good!! Great drinks! Really fun and lively atmosphere! Great vibes! We went on a Saturday when all the Low Riders were out in Glendale. It was amazing! We will definitely be back. OH! Yeah, the owners are AWESOME! Come support this locally owned business with incredible people at the helm! You won't regret it! I'll see you there!
