Average score for an average place. I got the dragon burger. It was good but not anything you couldn't make on your own, but that's why your going out right? So that wasn't really a big deal because I didn't want to make my own food. The place was slammed when we went in, So any gripes I had about service I will let slide. My biggest complaint (if you want to call it that) was the portion size for the price. I downed that pricey little burger in no more then 6 bites. I could maybe go back to try something new on the menu just to see. But it'll be awhile. (The salad my girlfriend got was also very small and overpriced) read more

We really enjoyed our meal here. The lemon chicken salad was very refreshing and light. My husband had the Dragon slayer burger and loved it. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and high quality. A bit pricey, and I hate feeling pressured to give a tip at a fast food joint (it's so awkward to have the cashier staring you down as you fill out the tip line... or not fill it out). Sooooo good. Super fresh and seriously delicious. I've tried the tri tip steak salad, the buffalo blue cheese fries and the dragonslayer burger and they are all awesome. My kids were also totally happy with their kids meals. The layout of the restaurant can get a little congested and the menu is a little small for my aging eyes but those are seriously my only complaints. This place is so good. The kitchen was out of quite a few items on the menu including: mac n cheese, ginger squash soup, large hoagie rolls for their sandwiches, ICE, and fountain Coke! Either I was just having horrible luck, or these guys need some help behind the storefront! I had the tri-tip sandwich (kind of cold, and too much sauce) and buffalo fries (soft & soggy); both of which were average at best...My girlfriend had the tri-tip salad, which she enjoyed. We were in on a Wednesday night, with minimal traffic. I'll probably be back to give Cubby's another shot, but my opinion as of today says that Cubby's is overrated. read more

We came here after reading reviews online on yelp. Unfortunately the name closely resembles another restaurant not far from here. So I ended up reading reviews for this place but finding menu on Google of other place. It was tad confusing. We came for late lunch. We ordered Mr beef, portabello and chicken sandwich with buffalo fries, smokey bbq blue cheese, mac and cheese and tomato soup. Everyone loved the sandwiches. I think they gave us 2 buffalo fries instead of what we asked cause both tasted same. We ordered mac and cheese because of reviews but we were not impressed at all. Soup was good. I want to give it 3.5 stars but I can't. Will be back to try out their grilled cheese next time but I hope they put more cheese on it than they did in mac and cheese. read more

Since my initial experience at Cubby's was enjoyable, I eagerly accepted an invitation to eat breakfast with my nephew and my brother. Giant mistake and very disappointing, as everything was overpriced for very small portions. Although it was shortly after opening the tables and floor were all dirty-as if they had not cleaned up after closing the night before. The cashier seemed angry and sullen. All in all the food was not bad-just very small portions and we went away still hungry. Will not go back for breakfast here ever as there are so many better (and cheaper) nearby alternatives. Cubby's management may need to re-think their recently introduced breakfast menu. read more

We have always been impressed with Cubby's food and enjoy visiting the one in Lehi and South Jordan. Yesterday we visited the new location in American Fork for breakfast. It wasn't very busy. We witnessed an interaction between 2 older ladies and the manager. I was blown away by the attitude and rudeness of the Cubby's manager! The ladies were quiet with their complaint but frustrated (and rightfully so) They expressed their frustration in having to wait over 25 minutes for their food when it was not even busy and then their food came out cold. The girl that brought their food out told them they had been waiting on the avocado toast, that the toast takes awhile....um really?! The toast held up the rest of the food? That is laughable. The girl asked if they wanted to speak to the manager, they said yes. The manager came out and asked what the problem was. They explained to him their frustration. He never apologized! In fact he got super defensive and told them they needed to give them a break, they are a new restaurant. He was beyond rude and clearly doesn't understand customer service. He then rudely asked what they wanted. They said they would like their money back. He didn't say anything in reply and walked away. Then goes behind the counter and proceeds to talk about the two ladies to the other employees who are all staring and smirking. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL! After about 5 minutes one of the ladies went up to the counter and quietly/nicely asked if he needed anything from them. He snaps at her saying, "your card has been refunded. It's done. Now leave." So this "manager" kicked out two older customers because the food they paid for was served cold after having to wait 25 minutes in a mostly empty restaurant. I couldn't believe how rude the manager was from the beginning but when I heard him tell them to leave I was mad! I could understand him being defensive and asking them to leave if they were being unreasonable or disruptive BUT that was most definitely not the case. I will not be returning to the AF location. read more

UPDATE: I'm updating this review because I received a $20 gift card from this manager that was very unexpected I definitely did not expect any kind of gift card for the service we received of getting a wrong order . I felt this was more than enough I appreciated them following up with me and mailing a gift card !! Very impressive !!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR MAKING IT RIGHT...Very disappointed, placed an order to go after having lunch there and specifically requested no Wasabi sauce place it on the side after paying $11.33 for a burger and fries got home and the family member couldn't even eat it. Called them they apologized but I won't be going back. And they didn't provide a receipt for the to-go order. Needless to say, I'm not happy!!!! read more

The only thing keeping this place from 5 star is the beyond bizzare music they always have playing. VERY VERY depressing music which is odd considering the food is alive and healthy. We LOVE LOVE LOVE the food but begging please change the music genre to match your audience...tons of LDS families and kids. No music would even be better. I asked one of employees to change the music and he said the only way to get it changed was to go to yelp because the owner reads the reviews and only responds to reviews. Had the"Gipsy" BBQ burger. Not the best I've had because I don't love grilled onions (I like em fresh). There was a lack of BBQ flavor but certainly could have asked for more since it's free. Over all though I LIKED The burger and would order again. Got the BBQ Blue cheese fries as well. These alone would have got s 2-3 stars. They are small fries and have what seemed like dilutes sauces on them. Wouldn't order again but the chicken sandwich my wife had she liked. Would return just without the fries. read more

Finally found an Ital Beef Sandwich here that compares to Portillos from Chicago. LOVE IT. Been here 5x and every time there's no disappointment. Stopped in the Spanish Fork location last week when heading out of town and the sandwich was half the size as this location. Looking forward to more locations opening. read more

They have friendly, good service but the last time I was in to pick up a take-out order the guy packaging up the fries was wiping his runny nose on the back of his gloves. GROSS!
