Firehouse Subs is usually a good place to stop while on our road trips. We went on 12/31/25 and it was not a good experience. There is ample parking and the restaurant itself was pretty clean. The staff person taking our order was ok but it was tough to order with him. We were ordering 4 sandwiches. When ordering each sandwich or making any requests, he would say "anything else". For example: I would like a large turkey sandwich - before we could say what we want on it he would say "anything else". We would then say what toppings and he would say "anything else". We would then ask for condiments and he would say "anything else". He did this for all four sandwiches. One of the sandwiches was not what we asked for and when I went in to ask for a change, he argued with me that is the way it was ordered. Maybe he missed the request for mustard and no oil/vinegar because he kept asking "anything else"? Or maybe there was a language barrier? I had to throw it away because it was so full of dressing, the bread was so soggy and mushy. Super sad and hope it was a one off experience. read more

Well I've always enjoy a good sandwich! I tried the spicy Cajun chicken and it was amazing!!! Plus you add some A1 sauce and the firehouse sub sauce it is so delicious. The place is so clean and laid back, just a relaxing atmosphere for sure. It is enjoyable experience here. The staff was so friendly and nice, they were perfect servers. I enjoyed my sub here. Got there around noon on Wednesday. It surprisingly not too busy and we got through the ordering line quickly. My kids love getting a plastic firefighter hat each time we go. I got their Prime rib sandwich and used my birthday discount. I had to run to get my kid from school so I ate a couple bites in the car on the way there. I definitely think it would have been best eaten there in the shop while it's still nice and hot. Once I finished it at home it still was delicious just not at fresh as before. Stopped in for a quick lunch and saw an advertisement for their new pepperoni pizza meatball sub so I decided to give it a try and it was pretty good! I got the middle size and it was a big hefty sub. Tons of melted cheese and great tasting meatballs. But the downside to a sub with big meatballs like this one coupled with the thick bread made it really difficult to bite into. I found myself either getting very little meatball because my mouth couldn't open wide enough or too much meatball after I had eaten half of one because it would fall into my mouth. The big pepperonis on top were super good but there's no elegant way to take a single bite out of it. Once your teeth grab it, the whole pepperoni slides off and you gotta munch the entire thing or let it somehow fall off your sub and into your box. It was still a great tasting sub though! Just difficult to eat with hands and mouth. Definitely something that would fair better cut up with a fork and knife for more manageable bites. I'm glad I tried it though, it was incredibly filling. And if you're a fan of a high quality meatball sub, give it a try! read more

Good sub sandwiches. This was my first time ordering food here. My husband loves this place and always gets their brisket sandwich. He loves warm sandwiches. We ordered our food online for pickup. The ordering process was easy and I was able to select a pick up time. I was able to select the condiments and type of bread I wanted. I arrived five minutes early and my order was at the counter in a bag, waiting for me to grab it. The sandwich I ordered was the turkey bacon ranch in wheat bread. I ordered the medium sandwich. It was very filling and had tons of sandwich and meat toppings on it. The sandwich was made warm so wasn't as hot as it would have been, had I been able to eat there or ate it in the parking lot. I drove home and ate it. I would order the sandwich again. I had a bite of my husband's sandwich and loved it! The brisket was very tender and the barbecue sauce had a nice tang. I showed up on a Sunday at 10:15 am and saw a worker through the window while still in my car. I got out of car went to door and it was locked. I looked at time on window which says open on Sunday 10:00. I looked through the window and saw a worker crouched down hiding only seeing her hat moving behind the counter. She seemed to be making food but didn't want me to see her. I see her hand reaching for items still scrunched down hiding. She finally barely stood up to see if I was gone. Why wouldn't she just come let me know they aren't open?? I went back to the car and looked at the website and it says opening soon at 10:30am. Ok so I only had to wait 10 mins so it is now 10:47 she finally showed herself but not unlocking the door now making sandwiches laughing probably because I haven't left yet. Someone else pulled up to do a pickup order and he had to knock on door to have her come open it. 10:51am Firehouse Subs Lehi opened. I left not doing business I just felt like she was waiting for me to leave before opening up . You need to speak with your employees on not hide just come talk to the customer to let them know why they aren't open. read more

I like this place for a few reasons. Not only is it a healthy ish choice for lunch but it's right next to where I work and I can quickly grab a sandwich (with pickle and chips) to go. It's clean inside and the staff is nice and speedy. They have some more options when it comes to flavor than the average sandwich chain. I get the Jamaican Jerk turkey with everything on it. And the best part is, I can get GF bread that actually tastes good and has a soft texture. Hard to come by at any other sandwich place, generally. I have always known what Firehouse Subs is but this was my first actual visit to the restaurant. They already won a few brownie points with me by being open before the other nearby businesses. Pretty much every single lunch spot in Lehi opens at 11, so I was even more happy to see that they were getting a head start at 10:30. Extra extra brownie points for being open on Sundays as that is also rare for the area. There was two guys working, both were super welcoming. I knew exactly what I wanted. I got the turkey bacon ranch sandwich without tomato. I decided to get in a combo with some chips and a drink but next time I think I will try to branch out and get a different side. Chips are cool but they are basic and insignificant to the business as you can get chips pretty much anywhere. They have soups, salads, Mac and Cheese--many other sides to choose from that I want to try. There was a little turning menu that explained what would come on the sandwich and he was spinning it to show me what came on it and what I could potentially add to my sandwich; I thought this was an awesome added touch to the ordering experience! My sandwich came out super quick and was absolutely delicious! The combination of ingredients was spot on and I liked that it was a warm sandwich. Another thing that may be a small detail to some, but I absolutely loved it: their sandwiches come in nice decomposable containers instead of paper. This makes it less messy, easier to carry, and cleaner when you're munching on your sandwich. Every sandwich shop I go to always wraps their sandwiches in paper, which works but I love this concept a lot more. It's also always nice to see the Coke Freestyle machines so you have a huge selection to choose from for your drink. I also don't know if he was just being nice or if this is actually how it goes but I got to choose any size drink with my combo and I thought that was neat. Firehouse subs is a nice spot for lunch with co-workers. It isn't my first choice because anything smaller than a 12-inch didn't fill me up, and because one time there was a toothpick fragment in my food. But more often than not I enjoy my meal without incident. Their Italian sub is good. I am sure other things are good, but I like Italian subs. Wanted to switch it up by trying something other than Subway or Jimmy Johns for once, but meh, wasn't impressed. I would equate it to Subway with less toppings and decreased quality bread. The service was also slow and I'm not sure why because we were the only people there. First of all, kudos for being open on a Sunday. Most of the other restaurants in this area were closed. I ordered the Italian sub, on the recommendation of the guy behind the counter. It did not disappoint, with plenty of flavor packed in to an eight-inch sammich. They serve their sandwiches with a dill pickle spear that cuts through the fats in the meat and cheese perfectly. The vinaigrette they used to dress the salad was good, and didn't overpower the veggies. My only real complaint is that they had run out of lettuce. It's a sammich shop, folks. You would think they would keep entire truckloads of lettuce on hand. But still, it was a good sammich. The inside of the place was clean, and the service was friendly. Good, solid, dependable sandwich place. Firehouse Subs aren't the best sub in the world, but they certainly do beat the Subway across the street. They are always dependable (I haven't had a bad sandwich yet), and they are quick to get you your order. The sandwich selection is decent, but what I really enjoy about this place is the hot sauce selection. They have 20+ different kinds of hot sauce that you can try out on your sandwich. For me, that is heaven. I've found several bottles that I now use at home. My favorite of all of them is Gator Hammock, a fantastic hot sauce that I pour onto every sandwich. Seriously, Gator Hammock is amazing...I really need to go order a bottle on Amazon. Their own bottle of hot sauce is decent as well, I believe it's called Captain Sorensons. The staff is very friendly as well. My dad goes here quite a bit for lunch and a lot of the employees know him by name and are quick to say hi when we go together. They've got the Coke freestyle machine, which is a nice touch. I also like the pickle spear they give you on the side. Sometimes they even have giant buckets for sale for a couple dollars....I've always wanted to buy one, but don't know what to use it for. Overall this is a great sandwich place and easily the best in the area (of course the area only includes Subway and Zupas)...it's not Sensuous Sandwich or anything of that caliber, but it gets the job done. Firehouse Subs is and always will be my favorite sandwich place. The meats are delicious, the bread is fresh and the flavors are fantastic. I frankly don't care if the service wavers now and then. I usually have to repeat my order two or three times at the counter. But as long as I get my sandwich, we're good. My favorite is the beef and cheddar brisket. After waiting 30 minutes for my food and everyone that came in after me receiving theirs I asked where it was. They lost my order. They asked me what I ordered and hurried to make something. Well I finally been to my very first firehouse subs. It's only been years of passing them and wondering if they are good. What made me finally try it, is its about the only thing open on Sunday in Utah County. So brownie points for being open on Sunday. So when we went in it was actually pretty busy but the menu was easy to read and understand. I ordered the club which was like turkey, bacon, comes with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. It slightly warmed which I actually really liked. I'm not usually a warm sub person but it slightly warm was actually really good. My only real complaint was the kids meal. For the price it was lacking. You get tiny sandwhich piece and either a tiny piece of rice crispy or chips. Think probably for the price shouldn't do either or should do both for the meal. Besides that it's decent sub place. I don't know what else you can expect from a sub place! read more

He took several orders and then made the food, and our order was 100% correct even the uncut part. The owner refused to serve us because we had a coupon. When we asked why we couldn't use it as he had no where in the store stating he won't take coupons, he lost it on us. My husband started recording and he stepped back mumbling under his breath. We were never rude to him and suggested he puts up signs stating coupons aren't allowed at the location. At that point I couldn't use my coupon at any other location as it does a count down. He was incredibly rude and it was very uncalled for. We had also visited the night before. There was one worker who was very overwhelmed. We waited 10 minutes and never Made it to the front of the line so we left. This place has gone downhill. My husband likes this place more than myself but they do make quality subs. If you are looking for something different and a higher quality than Subway this place is perfect. They do a really good job of giving a lot of options and not just the 'normal' subs everyone offers. Not my favorite sandwich stop but it has plenty of positives when compared to some out there. I love firehouse subs and I was having a pregnant craving for a ham sandwich. We stopped an hour before closing. Only 2 workers there. The guy in charge seemed really putoff by our being there. He complained about being tired and his customer service was lacking, to say the least. A couple came in behind us and he told them there was about a 10 minute wait because it was only him and a kid working there. The couple said they were fine to wait and then he told them they couldn't eat in because he was trying to close. They ended up leaving. We were the first in line.... 20 minute wait for 3 sandwiches.
