Family member wanted to celebrate their birthday here. To be fair to the restaurant, I don't believe they were expecting a party as large as we became but accommodated us by moving tables around as more people arrived. Thumbs up there. Disappointment then followed. Food menu was limited. There were far more drink options than food choices. I thought I was going to a Mexican restaurant but it was more of a Mexican seafood place. There weren't any prices on the menu and you have to ask for prices as you're ordering to prevent being surprised when the bill arrived (and the choices can be pricey). My fish tacos had the smallest pieces of fish I have ever seen. It was the equivalent to a small fish stick with lots of cabbage stacked on top. Wife ordered steak and fries and stopped after the second bite. She told the server the meat was too chewy and he left it and didn't offer to change it for something else. He even charged us fully claiming that she ate half which was not true. While some of our party enjoyed their order, a lot of us were disappointed. Toward the end of the meal, the staff came out for the birthday celebration and they did a wonderful job. I should add that there was a live band playing inside. This location is not the best venue and the band was very loud. As mentioned in some other reviews, the service was not great but that could have been due to the size of our party. Sadly after we paid I notice the prices were not as shown on their menu. The server apologize and got the manager. She stated that her menu was based on Market price due to vendors increasing prices. MARKET PRICE WASNT ON ANY OF THE ITEMS WE ORDER. Then I asked why one of the drinks was also over charged ? She had no reason and told the server to give me difference for one drink. I was a bit skeptical about coming here due to the reviews but since it was the birthday girls request to come here, we gave it a try. To start off parking was a breeze, plenty of parking. Available. Great. The decor is really nice, I loved the colors, and aesthetics of it. Maria C- was our waitress, shout out to her, she was friendly, helpful and fast! We had a party of 14, and she was efficient with all our orders. Everyone loved their food. I ordered aguachiles, and they were ok. I'm a hard critic when it comes to aguachiles, in my opinion they just lacked flavor. But that's okay, everything else was great. Music was a little too loud for me, but it's just a preference. They also had soccer and baseball games on the TVs. Before paying the bill, their team came out with a shot, lights, the monja and some music to celebrate our birthday girl. Never have I had such a terrible dining experience where the only redeeming factor was the blueberry lemonade. I visited Culichi Town on a Friday shortly after they opened. We debated between trying this place or sticking with Red Lobster, but despite the red flags, we decided to give Culichi Town a shot. We didn't order anything complicated--a tempura roll for me and two tacos (asada and fish) for my husband. Before ordering, we took a couple of moments to review the menu, which, by the way, was incredibly frustrating to navigate. It was inconsistent, with some descriptions in Spanish, others in English, and several items described in confusing or contradictory ways. One dish even mentioned being served "on a bed of eel." Excited by that, I asked the waitress if they could add eel to my roll, only for her to look confused. Pointing to the menu, I explained what I meant, and she clarified it was actually supposed to say "eel sauce." Seriously? Despite this shaky start, we decided to give the food a chance--and it was a huge mistake. My tempura roll was terrible. The tacos were even worse. The asada taco came with cheese melted onto the tortilla, and the cheese tasted spoiled, like it had gone bad. To make matters worse, the asada itself was bland and completely lacking seasoning. The fish taco was no better--the batter was raw inside, making us question if the fish was even fully cooked. Out of courtesy, we took the remaining roll to go, but it ended up in the trash as soon as we got home. To top it off, I had a near-instant physiological reaction to the food, and it lingered for the next day or so. Do yourself a favor: avoid this place. If you're in the area, just go to Red Lobster instead. read more

Service was great, we went in without a reservation on a Sunday. We got asked if we wanted to be next to the banda or away, we said away and got seated instantly. Our waitress was super polite and on top of everything. The place itself is pretty big and clean. The food was delicious everyone enjoyed what they ordered from sushi, to tacos and empanadas they were all great. The michelada was really good. There weren't that many people so I thought it was doable to dine in wihin the timeframe my coworker and I had, but nope. Our waiter, Noemi, was rude, which made us feel uncomfortable. I needed to ask her a question about the menu, but because the music was so loud, she couldn't hear me. Co-worker and I staying nearby for the week for work. My co-worker was not from the area, and wanted to try this place out for dinner. It was 8pm and we thought they were closed. It was super quiet. We got seated right away and we did. Rocked 2 other parties dining in as well. First impression was an awesome front desk with a large backdrop of different tequila brands on the shelves. The second thing that was very noticeable was the loud and over bearing music they were playing. We found ourselves yelling across the table the entire night. Even our server was somewhat yelling as well. I don't get it how can people eat and enjoy their meals while having a decent conversation within their party. It was ridiculous, but we were too tired from traveling for work to change restaurant. We started with chips and guacamole. The guacamole was good, had some great flavor. The chips, nothing fancy. The only issue we had was the guacamole to chips ratio was off. The guacamole came in a large mortar and the chips came in what seemed to be a kid size flat plate. For dinner, I can only speak about my meal. I ordered Rancheros Shrimp. shrimp were nicely cooked. The sauce lacked seasoning, it was bland. The entree came with tortillas, nice and beans. The rice was dry and overcooked. The beans were good. The server was nice and pleasant, the only thing that was off-putting was her aggressive car sales men upselling. She kept insisting on ordering more appetizers. We said no. When we asked about the maid dishes, she kept suggesting other items to add. Then the constant asking me about ordering a cocktail. We said, it's a work night and we will pass. Not surprised, she tried again. And guess what, the sales talk kept coming once we wrapped up with dinner. She pushed and pushed about trying their desserts. Perhaps because it was a quiet evening and maybe (my assumption) there was very little business tonight, the server wanted to upsell the drinks and desserts. Once I returned to the hotel, I decided the read the reviews. Silly me, I should have read them before coming here. I agree with what most said about the loud music, the food was mediocre and the atmosphere was trying hard to be hip and trendy. We were not feeling it. I'm saddened to have to write this review. I always try to find the best of every dining experience, maybe the full day of traveling and working added to the experience. If I can leave you one piece of advice from someone who has been in the customer service industry for over 32 years. Review your reviews and take a moment to get to know your patrons. The manager should be on the dining floor and mingle with the customers. Get to know them and learn from what they want to share. I wish your business well. read more
